Sound quality
When I first saw was underwhelmed by the size not very big at all was looking for something a bit bigger. But turn it on a was blown away by the sound quality. Little guy packs….. but that’s what she said.

Sounds great at moderate volume
Easy to connect with. Love the look and sound is great at moderate volume. When you crank up the volume, the base drops out and the sound has a tinny quality. I have not found any settings to correct this. Overall I am enjoying this product.

This is the one.
I’ve owned a ridiculous number of Bluetooth speakers because we’ve been resellers from day one. Having since retired, cute gimmicks are out and quality is the priority. From the feel of the speaker in your hand to the feel of the sound in your soul, Marshall has nailed it with the Emberton. Enough sound to fill my house and quality that exposed nuances of songs that just aren’t audible in lesser units. Add that it plays all day on a charge and is weatherized! Love it

Rockin’ Little Speaker!
Got the Marshall Emberton Bluetooth speaker in black and it’s a total game-changer! The sound quality is top-notch, just what you’d expect from Marshall. Great sound for a small speaker
I had a Bose color sound link for years, wanted something that was louder so I ordered this speaker. Very pleased, for a small speaker it gets loud, and the sound is good. It is worth the money in my opinion. I never leave reviews btw, but had to for this.

Bought this for my wife’s “she” room and for the pool when we’re in our pool. I am an audiophile and have other expensive home stereo gear so I appreciate quality. For the size of this unit it blew me away. First it’s a heavy unit so it’s got some weight to it and feels substantial. When I connected to my IPhone the sound is fantastic! Volume is great and bass is good enough for me. My son has a JBL portable speaker and this sounds far better. I highly recommend it.

Great sound!
Love this portable device! The sound is so crisp and clear. It really picks up all those sounds you don’t hear with regular speakers. The charge lasts a long time and packs a punch for such a small device. We use it by the pool and you can clearly hear every note and is loud enough to hear across the lawn.

Simply The Best
I love splurging on Bluetooth speakers that, in all honesty, I probably don’t need. I’ve had the JBL Charge & Xtreme, Harman Kardon Onyx, Bose Soundlink, UE Boom, Wonderboom, etc. I basically have a closet full of unused speakers at this point. I guess I’ve been searching for something I’ve never found… until this.Let me make this easy: If you’re looking for a portable speaker that sounds better than speakers 4x its size and is small enough that you can chuck it in any bag — look no further.The soundstage rivals anything I’ve heard from a Bluetooth device — that is to say, inherently limited by the Bluetooth technology, but about as good as you can possibly get. Unlike JBL / Bose / UE speakers, it sounds remarkably accurate, effortlessly reproducing a clear, authentic soundstage. It’s fairly neutral throughout most of its range, only starting to get the slightest bit muddy at the absolute highest of volumes. Mids are consistent throughout, and vocals sound clear and fantastic. Put it in the middle of a ~400-sq. ft room and you’ll be blown away.Build quality? It feels practically bulletproof. I’ve abused this thing to all hell over the 6 months I’ve owned it, and aside from a tiny piece of the Marshall logo coming off, it looks and feels brand new. I recently discovered that rubber sleeve around it comes off(!) for easy cleaning, if you’re into that sort of thing.The battery life is staggering. They rate it at 20 hours, but I’ve been getting 25+ at medium volume. I use it for about 1-2 hours per day and go almost an entire month without charging it.I’d pay double what they charge for this thing.

A technological audio miracle !
This is the greatest mini/portable/wireless speaker I have ever heard in my entire life! This sound is truly amazing! Such a small device yet perfect clarity and amazing bass along with it ! I am listening to it right now and my jaw is still agape in amazement of how truly astonishing this sound is. It’s like I have an actual live concert hall in my apartment. It’s unbelievably good. I could say you must listen to this yourself. But you already know you need to hear this thing for yourself. Get it!

Lack of treble & bass controls
This is a great little unit, overall. Was very easy to pair with my phone, and didn’t require installing a new app. Came with a charging cord that I then needed to plug into one of those chunky cubes that goes into an electrical outlet for phone charging (none is provided with the product). It’s small but puts out a decent amount of volume for its size, and has plenty of bass. Would be good for relatively small rooms. I ended up returning this and getting a more expensive portable Marshall speaker that has knobs that let me control treble and bass and gives off an even better sound. This unit kind of just whet my appetite!

High quality speaker
I’m not sure why anybody would complain about this stereo speaker. It is not the smallest speaker but not the largest either. Connects quickly to bluetooth. The sound coming from the 2 speakers is impressive. Will fill up a room or a workspace or when you are outside at the park.Marshall knocked it out of the park with this speaker. Immediately became my favorite and best sounding small speaker for bluetooth activities.

More bass than I expected
So far it’s been a pretty solid speaker, honestly, better than my Oontz (which is a decent speaker in its own right). Quite a bit more bass than I expected. Setup was easy and have had no issues. Only 4 stars because it’s a bit pricey in my opinion and I feel like maybe it’s a little too bassy; not horrible but I’d like a bit more mids and highs personally.

Great sound
This little speaker sounds great. It’s not loud, and I think it sounds worse when it’s turned up too loud. It’s perfect for listening to podcasts and audible books.Not that it’s bad with music, it’s just my personal taste to hear music from a full sized stereo with depth and dynamics.I listen to music on it when I’m in the shower or getting dressed and it’s perfect for that, too. It’s not going to fill a medium or large room with sound but it will fill a smaller room or bedroom.The price is good. I don’t want super cheap garbage and this isn’t garbage at all.It connects to Bluetooth easily and it’s easy to use, except that it should be easier to turn on and off; you have to hold the button down for exactly 2 seconds to both turn it on and off. Turning it off can be a pain because it won’t turn off until you remove the pressure on the button, and if you leave the pressure on too long it won’t turn off. I’ve gotten to where I just leave it and let it shut down on its own. That’s my only complaint.

Huge sound, small footprint, great battery life, looks cool
I bought a bunch of these for friends and family because they sound great, are light weight and have a small footprint, have incredible battery life, and they look awesome.I’ve got a MegaBoom and a Bose mini, and the Marshall Emberton sounds as good as the MegaBoom with the footprint of the Bose, and a battery that lasts longer than both. The bass is excellent, and there’s both front- and rear-firing drivers for the stereo signal. I work in audio (not for Marshall), and I can tell these folks know what they’re doing.My only complaint is there’s no rugged case and strap-loop for it like the Bose (I can strap that on my bike and go rock hopping).Best part is the Bluetooth connection sounds. Like the MegaBoom’s bongos (which I like), the Emberton has chunky metal guitar chugs. Makes me chuckle every time.

Sound great, but…
Love the big sound out a small speaker, my only problem with this product is it auto connects to more than one device. I still use an Ipod for most of my music as I own a substantial library. So I connect to the Ipod and it still auto connects to my phone, which I do use for some streaming music. I don’t necessarily have a problem with the ability to connect to more than 1 device at the same time, but I don’t like it auto connecting to my phone while playing my Ipod. I can go into the phone’s settings & disconnect, so it’s a minor inconvenience, but still an inconvenience.

This little speaker has great sound! I’ve had a small Bose blue tooth speaker for years and it sounds great. It is getting old though and I thought I’d try this Marshall and it’s just as good. Great sound quality, very easy to use. Plus I got it on sale and the price was great!
