I really enjoy this speaker and the sound quality is great. It isn’t as loud as I expected especially with the size and weight of the speaker, but it is still a great product and is worth it to buy! Same quality as a JBL and its cheaper.

I was over-joyed that this product exceeded my expectations. I have used Anker products in the past, primarily ear buds, and Anker’s sound quality is competitive with brands that are price 3x to 4x higher.The overall sound quality of the Rave 2 is phenomenal. In my opinion, it outperforms all brands in its class, and most “higher class” brands. Battery life seems excellent, although I haven’t put it to any real test. I charged it up out of the box, then used it intermittently for nearly 4 weeks before it needed charged again. I expect the battery life is very close to advertised specifications, but I’ll know more after a few more uses.All I can say for now is – I don’t think there is a better Bluetooth player for the price from any other brand.

GOTTA HAVE A PAIR!!!
First off, I initially ordered one, but then after downloading the PDF Manual, I DISCOVERED….that a single unit can PAIR with a SECOND unit and utilize “TWS”–True Wireless Stereo where each separate speaker acts either as a left OR right channel so you have DISTINCT Stereo Separation!!! I have included a screenshot of the page from the manual regarding TWS. The sound in this configuration is quite simply PHENOMENAL!!! Why?, you ask? It all boils down to the placement of the tweeters in relation to the woofers. The speaker configuration of the Rave Party 2 is what is called a “D’Appolito” configuration and highly contributes to the Stereo point source imaging. Not seen in the images for the Rave Party 2, there is a Bass Port at the rear that assists with low frequency extension–done VERY well!!! Another design bonus of the speaker enclosure are the nicely rounded corners and edges which besides looking “cool”, help minimize enclosure “diffraction” or unwanted reflections caused by sharp corners and edges that tend to “muddy” the sound quality and imaging. The Soundcore Android App nicely controls a pair simultaneously…lights, volume and such. I stream my audio from the PlexAmp App which streams audio my PlexServer on my Asustor Lockerstor NAS. I fine tune the audio with the Soundcore EQ as well as having Dolby Atmos enabled as well as using an Android app called “°SOUND° Beautifier” which I liken to what is called a “compander” in audio jargon.Just a final note: If you can catch this item on sale at the 150 price point, Absolutely, Positively, MOST DEFINITELY…purchase a PAIR!!!You WILL NOT Regret the Decision!!!(…that is, if you have Audiophile Inclinations!!! GUYS! JUST DO IT! Don’t EVEN ask the wife!!! As the saying goes “It’s Easier to Ask for Forgiveness than Permission!!!” I think once she hears the setup you won’t even have to ask for forgiveness!!! 😜)

Used for our outdoor wedding
I purchased this for our outdoor wedding ceremony and music at the reception. My bridesmaid has the same one so it was nice that we could connect them. Sound quality is great and it does get pretty loud! However, you can connect them to play the same music BUT only the speaker with the microphone plugged in will work for the sound from the microphone, it does not cast over both which sucked but we made it work. Otherwise no other real complaints, I now use frequently to play music while cleaning the house.

Powerful and clear sound
I teach group fitness classes and one of the places I teach in has high ceilings and lots of glass so the acoustics are poor. This delivers great sound and I love that it has a mic port as I have ordered a Shure cordless headset microphone system designed for group fitness instructors. Hopefully it will work with this speaker. I use music from my tablet, iPhone 7 and Spotify via Bluetooth with no trouble. Once the mic. system arrives (due in a week or so), I will update if it’s not compatible. The only down side is it’s somewhat heavy (almost 15 lbs.). I’m a senior woman so take that into consideration as 15 lbs. may not seem like a lot to a fit, strong, younger person.

Great sound and easily portable
I bought a pair of the Soundcore Anker Rave Party 2 for outdoor use around the deck and pool. They are so easy to set up and link as soon as they are turned on. This makes it easy to move them indoors whenever needed. The ease of use, flexibility and sound makes this perfect choice for my needs.

Battery life
In my shop it’s loud in there from beam saws to cnc’s cutting aluminum and foam. And dust collectors and air tables so parts slide on the table without scratches. It’s loud. Loud enough osha says “hey you need ear plugs” my little jbl speaker didn’t work well with all the noise. I can hear this one just fine! It’s loud and the bass os very nice although with it using bass and up all the way. Maybe 7.5hours of battery life. But still very impressive for the power its pushing out

The size is manageable, the sound is just what i needed, met expectations. Love the fact that can stand upright or sideways. Only minus is the dedicated power cord, wish it was usb. If u forget cable can’t be charged. Love the Campfire light mode. Great choice, i am very happy.

I have the original gen 1 rave mini. Two matter of fact.The rave neo original, soundcore boom without the TWITTERS VERSION.Didnt see alot of reviews,always knew sound core was going to build upon this beast since I did the survey years ago.The rave party 2 stright out the box blew me away.Sounds like my vizio 2.1 soundbar system ,trust me the bass is there filled my room.The clarity,and bass is there even on full volume jeezus.Update: Jay equalizer setup steps it up a notch , from the soundcore signature equalizer setting on the app.

Love it! Less battery life than it says
It lasted about 8 hours at the beach, we turned the light function off after an hour, maybe the battery would last longer if we had turned it off earlier. The sound quality is really good for the price, you can turn it up loud without distortion. It’s very portable and sturdy. We are very happy with the purchase even with the shoter than expected battery life.

Not loud enough. If you are looking for a loud speaker, this is not for you. I’m dissatisfied over all. This is good for the living room indoors. Outdoors you can hear it within 15 ft, that’s it.

Sound quality! Poor packing
The quality of the sound is not superb,but very close to JBL, but cosidering the price that you pay is not bad at all, there is some minor issue I incounter on pairing bluetooth, battery life is same as they mention, but when light and bass is ON expect fast drainage of battery. One thing I didnt like it, is how the pack the product. Overall is fine im happy with it.

Great sound for Money.
I spent few days researching portable Bluetooth “party” speakers. I wanted one with a handle, was around 100w output and could be used for 15+ hours with out charge. Also budget friendly at >$300. This checks all of the boxes. The black Friday deal made it even easier. I have Anker ear buds that I was very impressed with so this was a product/brand I felt I could trust – as much as one can anyway. I have always been hesitant purchasing personal audio devices online, as you don’t get to test it before receiving it.Fortunately this SoundCore Rave Party 2 has excellent sound. It’s ideal for outdoor (yard or campsite) use as well as indoor (dressing room or around the house). I also plan to use it at work on construction sites. Three of my kids use this for warmups and pre-game tunes. No complaints about being quiet – quite the opposite typically.Battery life is impressive. It arrived at 50% and it’s been used at high volume for 8+ hours and has not died yet. This includes a few hours in freezing temps.It’s construction is very durable and robust. I haven’t dropped it, but it’s tolerated being thrown in the back of my truck, in hockey bags, and toppled in dressing rooms/hockey rinks. The cold also doesn’t seem to deter performace.One minor complaint: there is no accurate battery life read out, even with the app.You can only go by a 4 bar display (Similar to the 4 lights on the top of the device).

Durable, loud, with a good battery
I used this out in the ocean on our crab boat. It got dropped, slammed, soaked, and still works. Unfortunately the charging port finally gave out after we took a wave and after three years of torture we finally bought a new one. Highly recommend. Highly impressed and worth overy penny 👏

I am very loyal to Anker. I currently bought this speaker with the same expectations as my earbuds from them. Simply excellent clear music quality which packs a lot of punch. I had to update the app and the device upon use but it was pretty self-explanatory. I noticed that the price changed in less than 7 days and Anker(not Amazon) even gave me a price adjustment which is fantastic. The box weighs as much as a milk jug to me, not bulky, the design is impressive and sturdy. I will not be using it in poor conditions or near pools since that’s not common to me for any electronics. I recommend using the app to become the DJ and what not. tons of quality fun.

This is a great product that is similar to other high end speaker products. The lows are a little muddy but once the speaker is turned up higher. The sound is crisp and bass is loud. I recommend this speaker for anyone in the market that does not want to spend JBL pricing.

Soundcore Rave Party 2 Speaker
Soundcore Rave 2, Dec/23:We bought this for our son’s family for Christmas who is a professional musician and has 8 year olds that love to sing and perform. Based on their video he sent it’s a definite hit and he’s happy with the sound output.According to our son the speaker works with good output but that his existing wireless microphone(s) did not work.I do see that he’s managed to get a wired one to work so I’ll have to ask him if the problem was with his existing wireless mic, too old, bad connection, etc or if he just gave up on that and figured out how to use a wired mic?Do you have a high output wireless mic that you would recommend with this speaker so it can grow with the family as they age?
