Dont bother
I love the concept. And I initially loved this phone. Unfortunately just 30 days in, the hinge quit working. They company seeking referred me to Samsung, who to their credit fixed it (entailing sending the phone to them and then having it sent back, so plan two weeks without a phone). Fast forward 9 months, the hinge breaks again. This time no one will help. Samsung promises call after call someone will get back to me as they won’t let me send it in again, but no one ever does. So less than a year and it can’t be used and can’t be fixed.

Very good Phone
This is a very good Phone, I had read the reviews that the battery life was not very good. I have not had that problem. After using the Phone all day I still have 50% battery when I go to bed around 11PM. As for how the phone will hold up for the long haul I don’t know yet, I have only had the phone for a few months, but so far I am very happy with the phone.

I love everything about this phone. Heads up the plug is hidden in the bottom of the box it comes in. I have mint mobile and had no issues transferring service to this phone. It runs so smooth, Google platform I love and its super cute. With 256g I can work on anything for my radio show we do on kenandkitty.com ! Thank you amazon for selling me my favorite phone.

Phone broke down after less than 2 months

Purchased this phone in January 2023. In July the phone would not unfold one day. When I tried to open it the screen broke. Samsung says because I forced open their (already broken!) phone the warranty was voided. Last piece of Samsung c**p I will ever buy.

I waited to review this phone until I’d had it for awhile and could see how long the fold in the middle of the screen would last. The answer is 7 months. The fold has started to show rough patches. It hasn’t started distorting yet but it’s only a matter of time. I really like how compact the phone is and it’s a decent phone, but the screen is an issue. I’m going to wind up getting a new phone just about the time I finish paying this one off. It was not cheap and I feel that it was a a pretty bad value.

99% well engineered. 98% poorly documented.
First of all I want to make it clear I do not consider a cell phone a replacement for a desktop computer.This phone is a heavy weight and not really suited for carrying in a shirt pocket. Cameras and display are exceptional. SIM card tray is so poorly engineered that I consider it a disaster. Documentation in the box tells one little to nothing. There is a very detailed full manual on Samsung’s website, 174 pages of it. Not something one wants to navigate on a cell phone. Unfortunately Samsung made no provision to download to a desktop and while they provided a print option it is unclear whether you’ll get one page or all 174 pages.I would recommend buying Samsung’s charger as the straight through USB-C cable provided is a bit short and USB charging is slow.This overall is a fantastic phone with a few issues, but don’t let them stop you from buying as it may well be the best from any maker. On the other hand this may not be the best option for one’s first cell phone. Investigate!

Had this phone only 11 months. Accidentally dropped approximately 3′, in open position, and the screen flickered and won’t come back on! It had a phone protection cover on at the time.

The battery life is good, and the touch screen does have that crease in the middle when you scroll, but if I’m being honest, there’s a satisfaction to rolling your finger over it lol it works awesome and has a beautiful display ! Very satisfied !

Delamination of the screen, half the screen went blank
We have two of these and both have the screen pulling up in the crease. Half the screen went dead on mine. My wife’s intermittently stops working. Recommend you stay away from this one until they fix the flaws.

Expensive phone for me
I bought this phone since I’m not a fan of iPhones and in my opinion was the better alternative as one of the latest 5G phone platforms. I ride my bike a lot and wanted something small to fit in my short pocket. This Z Flip 4 shrinks to half it’s size once folded and gives a big screen outlook when opened. The processor is fast and has a very good camera with good zoom. I thought about sending it back to upgrade to the Z Flip 5, but I will stick with the Z Flip 4 for now. Starting to grow on me as the best phone I have ever owned.

Don’t buy this type of phone
We have had this phone for the last 4 months and it has had problem after problem. Now after 4 months we apparently can’t return it. The screen has a crease in the middle that makes it hard to see anything. It won’t open all the way because there is apparently dust stuck in the hinge that you can’t get to. Now you can’t even select anything on the screen most of the time. it overheats in an air conditioned room. It doesn’t receive calls or messages until hours after they are sent. Now I don’t know who to contact to return or get my money back. $900 is too much for a phone that doesn’t work!!! Save your money and get something else!!!

Phone was great for the first few months. Fast speed and great display with camera. Right at about month 3 the hinge broke causing the screen to Crack and render the phone almost useless on the lower screen. Nice phone, but not practical for everyday use. Most likely will not buy again.

Awesome phone
First thing I’m gonna say is the crease in the middle of the display is visible but I wouldn’t say it’s “prominent” I have barely been able to tell it’s there while actually using the phone which surprised me, I was expecting that to be the biggest elephant in the room and it’s actually not. My main problem with Samsung phones is the software but with a BUNCH of tweaks I am able to say I have a perfect phone for me. If you aren’t very tech savvy I wouldn’t recommend any Samsung phone at all but for those of us that love customizing settings and widgets this is the perfect android phone. Camera quality is okay on the native camera app but loses much of it’s quality when used on Snapchat or Instagram BUT like many other android phones it is not unusable on these apps the quality seems acceptable to me. Fingerprint reader is FAST, coming from an android phone with an in display fingerprint scanner that barely worked, this is really refreshing to have one that responds so fast. And it FLIPS!

Fun phone that finally fits in my pocket
I’ve had this phone almost a year now and I’ve been really enjoying it. Sure, it’s a bit of a gimmick, but being able to actually fit a phone into women’s pants has been great. The folding mechanism is super fun. I’d purchase an accidental damage warranty of your choice on this (I went with Samsung’s Care+) just in case though, as it seems like it’s more fragile than your standard candybar phone. But I’ve been having fun with it.

Great Phone…Who Doesn’t Want A Phone That Fold Up and Makes Itself Smaller
I actually was very intrigued when the first iteration of this phone was introduced by Samsung. however, I had my concern about the folding OLED screen and the hinge system on the phone. I decided to wait until the bugs could be worked out of the innovative phone design before buying it. When I read the reviews of the improvements in the Flip 4 over the Flip3 (especially the increased battery capacity of the Flip4), I decided that now was the time to get one. after all, “Who Doesn’t Want A Phone That Fold Up and Makes Itself Smaller And More Convenient To Carry.” I sure did and it does not disappoint. While I cannot say anything about the long term use of this phone as I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, I can say that the WOW factor for me is immense. I especially enjoy the compact size that the phone becomes when it is closed and the convenience of not having to carry around large bulky phone in my pants pocket (really uncomfortable when you have to sit down for any length of time with it in your back pocket.I will say that you can see the area where the phone folds in certain instances, however, you don’t really notice it while you’re doing what you normally do on a phone. For myself, I’ve decided to only fold and close my phone when I plan on putting it in my pocket. Otherwise I leave it fully open because it really doesn’t need to be closed. I rather have it fully open and ready to use. However, this is my personal preference and others my want to close it all the time.I am very happy with this purchase and only time will tell how this phone holds up over time. If you need your phone to be smaller, but, you don’t want to give up the larger screen size, than the Samsung Flip 4 may be the phone you need. Before you buy one, go to a store that has it on display and pick it up and test it out (especially, look at the screen and see if the fold area of the screen bothers you enough to not want the phone). That’s what I did and that’s what convinced me to get one. You really have to see it and handle it before buying it.

I couldn’t afford to buy it outright because of the price, so I’m making monthly payments, but beyond happy with my Sansung Flip 4. Love it, love it, ❤️ love it! Christmas gift for the wife
I got the phone to be a major upgrade for my wife who had a Motorola prior and man she loves this phone it reminded her of her purple Razor flip phone she had way by back in the day. The touch screen is fantastic the little screen in the front you can read your messages respond back with preset message you can edit them to say what you want. The build quality is amazing and sturdy you don’t feel like it’s gonna break every time you flip it open and close its sold. It takes really good pictures and she loves taking pictures. The battery life is pretty good she puts about 5 hours of screen time a day and by the end of it she is around 50%. I would recommend this phone to anyone who liked the moto razor or anyone looking for the wow factor. Everyone always ask to see it and flip it ha.

It’s a beautiful and fun phone, but it has his issues
I bought this for my wife, she has never loved a phone more than this one. She’s not a tech savvy person, but with this phone she was so excited that she spend hours tinkering with it, customizing it, and learning all it could do. All her friends want one, and she was very happy.But the flip 4, and foldable in general are fragile phones, besides what ever other people say, this kind of phones are more likely to break for normal usage. Her Flip had screen issue 11 months after buying it, and she take care of that phone like no other. Luckily the issue was covered under warranty but if the problem were 1 month later, we were had to pay a lot of money for the repair.Would we buy another foldable, yes, would we be buy insurance for it, ABSOLUTELY, sadly it’s a most for this kind of phones.

La mayoría de las personas que están acudiendo al centro de servicio en México es por pantallas que de la nada dejan de funcionar con una raya negra en el centro y perdida de la sensibilidad táctil. La reparación sin garantía cuesta alrededor de 9k y no garantizan poder dar soporte a equipos Americanos ya que no es el mismo modelo que se vende en México.El mio funcionó perfectamente mes y medio y luego dejo de funcionar.

Getting it fixed has been pure hell and it still doesn’t work right.
From the time I first got this phone it hasn’t worked right. The “visual voicemail”, never worked from the get go. I can send text messages out, but can’t receive any. When I try to access the “spam protection” settings,I get a “menu options not available”, message.I contacted my service provider and they said everything is fine on their end…contact Samsung. I contact Samsung they said take it to a warranty center, which I did. The service guy checked it out and said, hardware side, everything checks out. Must be a problem with the “firm ware” or the Android Software,which they can’t check, they only do hardware…ie..screens, battery, etc.. So I need to contact Samsung tosee what to do next. Well, that happened today so I still need to check with Samsung. Probably gonnamake me send the phone back to them. Might take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks for repair. Great..!What a major Pain in the A–!Sucks to spend 1000 bucks to get a phone that does not work out of the box. 3 months of misery.

Excelent product service from The Whiz Cells
The phone arrived early. When I took it to Verizon to activate it they said they couldn’t and I had to return the phone. The Whiz Cells messaged me a return label as soon as I messaged them of the problem. When I returned the phone for exchange they offered to exchange it for the model I had or a different model. The phone I chose came quickly and I took it to Verizon for activation. Everything worked fine. I am very happy with my new phone and the service I received from The Whiz Cells.

I just changed from my flip 3 (screen fail) to a flip 4. The improvement in speed is very impressive. The screen is much better, but most important is the transfer of data from my old phone to the new.The Samsung Smart (Share?) app did everything. My icons are in the same place & all my data is available where it should be.I had some real Bluetooth problems, but they were related to my old phone still being on. The screen fail kept me from hitting the Shutdown icon. Wrapped the old phone in tin foil and everything is fine.

El diseño es muy bonito y práctico, sin embargo muy poco confiable. Lo compré el 28 de Enero y hoy 27 de Abril ya le salió la raya negra enmedio y la pantalla de arriba no responde al tacto, quedando unitilizable. No lo recomiendo.

Shipment was smooth and came quickly! No issue with the phone so far. There is a middle crease but you would barely see it. I took a chance ordering online cause the stores were sold out but they did well with the product they represented on here.Touch screen very responsive, no lag or hiccups. The camera phone is.. decent but its not at a higher quality as I wanted it to be personally.Other then the camera the quality is great. The phone texture is very smooth so I recommend getting a case asap. And I truly enjoy having the option again to close my phone to make easier to carry in my pocket. Would buy again from them.

Deeply Disappointed with Samsung Z Flip – A Regrettable Purchase!
I purchased the Samsung Z Flip for my dad, drawn in by its unique folding design and the brand’s reputation. However, this experience turned out to be a massive letdown. Within just 7 months of use – and mind you, it was used quite roughly – the phone’s display gave out completely. Initially, the internal screen went pitch black, leaving us puzzled and frustrated. Shortly after, the smaller external display followed suit, rendering the phone practically useless.The most disheartening part of this ordeal was discovering the cost of display replacement. It was astonishing to learn that fixing the screen would cost nearly 85% of the phone’s original price! This revelation was the final straw for me in an already disappointing journey with this device.I had high hopes for this phone, especially being a Samsung product, but this experience has significantly dented my trust in the brand. The durability of the Z Flip, at least in my case, was severely lacking. To see a device, particularly one from a reputed brand, fail so quickly is unacceptable.I regret opting for a folding phone, a decision driven more by its novelty than practicality. This experience has left a sour taste, and I’ve decided to steer clear of Samsung products in the future. It’s disheartening to see a gift for my dad turn into a source of inconvenience and financial strain. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others considering this phone or similar folding devices.

Issue while flipping the case since i bought the phone Which resulted a damaged /broken screen without any single scratch in the screen,i sent it to the dealer in Jordan and they said the warranty is not covered in my country while it was mentioned at the beginning from the seller that it has an international warranty,yet it seems the phone was a stock or defected and that cased the lcd damaged,i paid 350$ to fix it actually the changed the lcd with the whole frame.it was really a bad experience for me to pay this amount after two months from buying it as new from your shop, i don’t recommend buying from this seller unless i get a refund immediately
