Comes with a protective phone case

Fantastic upgrade from my Oneplus 6T. Not much bigger than that model but very fast and responsive.Lots of features on the phone that will take some time to understand them all but plenty to customise and use.Camera is amazing and again lots of features to mess around withIncredible fast charge as well, great phone very happy with this upgrade. Also just an FYI you don’t need buy a separate protective case like i did as it comes with it already.

    Superb

This is a fantastic phone. Forget the more expensive 256gb model unless you need the extra storage. 8gb ram is more than enough. Excellent phone in everyway

Thought it’d be a great experience but it’s just fine

I’ve had a few Oneplus and have kept loyal to the brand, thought that this one would probably be the best of all I’ve had, and it’s turned out to be, let’s say a lot less of what I was expecting. I’ve had it for few months and think that if you’re a gamer maybe this is your phone, but if you care about camera, weight, bulkiness, and finish maybe look somewhere else.CAMERA I don’t understand why you would brag about the camera when it’s so bad. Even after the latest update at the end of June 2022, pictures are massively overexposed, tone and saturation are bad as well. I like photography, and thought I could live with average pictures, but now I find myself editing pictures a lot because they are way out of line. Don’t buy it if you care about the pictures and videos.SCREEN is beautiful, video quality is superb. But If this is your flagship phone and you’re putting a premium screen, at least stick the screen protector professionally, the screen protector from factory is awful, I think they stuck mine dirty or there was something wrong with it, but you can see it’s not well done. I’ve been using the phone for a few months now and the screen protector needs changing already, with just normal use.FACE RECOGNITION is not good compared to my wife’s iPhone, and I’m not an iPhone fan at all.CHARGER IS MASSIVE but it does a great job, not the best for traveling though. Battery life is just fine, if you want it to last you’ll have to deactivate all the good stuff.VERY HEAVY piece of work, you can feel it after handling it for long periods.SOUND is really good, the dolby atmos does the job great and the speakers are good.HEADPHONES’ sound is good and nice premium finish, but they are bulky and bother me after long time use, mics are rubbish always have problems during phonecalls, can’t control the volume which is a massive downside for me. If you don’t get them for free don’t buy them, not worth the money.LONG STORY SHORT, I’d probably buy another brand if I could choose again, even if I’m a fan of the brand.

    Good overall

Quite happy with the phone so far. No real problems with it. Although I do have Chromecast connection problems from time to time. Also had a problem during WhatsApp call with the proximity sensor blacking out the phone screen completely. Although I realised this was because of the screen protector I had on it. Charges fast and the battery is decent but not brilliant.

A disappointment coming from a Oneplus 7 pro

I’ve got the OnePlus 7 pro. It is an amazing phone with a great screen, camera, battery life etc.I bought this for £649.99 on the prime day deal and was quite sceptical but excited.I unboxed it and felt great, turned it on, copied all my data over in 20 minutes and then the problems started to happen.Everyone has their phones set up differently, everyone has different gestures etc. I would have thought they would have copied over but with Android 12 it seems that alot of the stuff was removed or changed. The difference in the layout was too much, The camera didn’t seem any better, the feel was nice, the look was nice, the screen was very bright and nice but the speakers sounded tinny.I decided after an hour of playing around to send it back.Looks like i’ll wait for the Nothing phone or even switch to a dreaded iPhone…

    Poor battery, heating up,

Battery is very poor, and phone heats up really bad. When I complained to amazon they asked me to send back saying they will book it under repair s but send me replacement.so I sent phone on 12th June instead of replacement they send phone for repairs, they have 14 days policy of repair, but instead I said I don’t want repair just send me phone back but they didn’t. Every 2 days I use to call amazon for update but they would send email it will take few days, even the manager was so rude with us. Finally after trying efforts and fed up with customer service we asked for refund so on 4 th July they initiated our refund. Such a bad experience with amazon. Unhappy customer.

Keyboard sensitivity on bottom right hand side terrible

So disappointed with the sensitivity of this ‘top of the range’ OnePlus phone. Everything elese is fantastic apart from the 2 most used buttons when typing…. Delete and return keys. Just that whole bottom right hand corner is completely dead to touch. So disappointed as i saved to get this model

  12. Beau Holdsworth

    OnePlus is no more

The battery was pretty lackluster, largely down to GSF using up abnormal amounts, as documented on Reddit.OnePlus took a fall from grace, if you plan on installing custom ROMs, there is no Qualcomm EDI tool meaning if you soft-brick it, you’re stuffed.Likewise, if you remove Google Apps with ADB, they still manage to show up in battery stats, using obscene amounts… overall poor, poor, poor!

They all say the same thing.

The battery may sound good but with all the extra power the screen needs and 5G it’s worse than my old phone. It gets extremely hot when using netflix or YouTube for an hour. The phone looks and feels incredible but manufacturers really need to understand what the consumer needs and wants and not over promise and under deliver.

One plus …. At least it’s not a Samsung.

It’s not too bad. Fit a finish is okay. Heavy unit. 2 year warranty. Good software. Anoying that auto rotate doesn’t stay on permanently. Good camera. Bonus that it’s got a new Snapdragon chip and not the Samsung own brand chipset. Overall better than Samsung. I don’t like Samsung products. My first OnePlus phone. 8 out of 10.

Good phone let down by accessories

I didn’t know when I bought the phone that oneplus and other manufacturers do not produce glass screen protectors for this model due to the slight curve at the edge of the screen. While the tpu screen protectors I’m using are ok I don’t imagine they will keep the screen fresh for as long as a glass screen protector would. This is my third oneplus phone though I had the 5th and 7 Pro back when I was living in China and the quality is as good as it’s always been.

    Upgrade from Samsung s20

I am very impressed with my new phone. I was looking to get an s22+ until I saw the 128gb version of this OnePlus phone in a local store and thought it looked like a sleek and cheaper alternative. When I set my new phone up I made the error of trying to use the gestures setting instead of traditional back and home keys, now I have sorted that I can enjoy how slick the phone is. It also fits perfectly with a razer kishi for Xbox cloud gaming. My previous phone was very good, this is a big upgrade!

    Superb.

After having my Samsung s10+ for many years the lure of a new phone was on my mind. After some careful research I stumbled across the OnePlus 10 pro. Looking into many of the specifications that the new flagship devices had to offer I was surprised that my older Samsung still had many cutting edge features like screen resolution and storage capacity. So I was initially drawn to the s22 ultra, but seeing this in the flesh just reminded me of a note device, and those corners will ruin a decent pair of jeans. The s22 had inferior specs to my nearly 4 year old s10 + so that was a downgrade and wasn’t prepared to pay for that. Now onto the OnePlus 10 pro, this has a superior chipset, screen, ram and looks so smart. The software is lightning fast and is super slick. This is the first time I have dieviated away from Samsung in decades but the oxygen software is a breeze. The charging with 80watts is nothing like I’ve ever experienced before, and even the wireless 50watts is faster than many wired devices today. The technology that OnePlus are delivering to their customers is fantastic. The camera is co developed by hassleblad and is amazing, it actually makes a wide lense usable instead of a gimic. Delivery was next day, set up was a breeze. I would highly recommend, and you get a pair of wireless, headphones… but only if you order quick!

It’s a good phone and a welcome upgrade from my old OnePlus 5

I bought this phone as my old OnePlus 5 was showing its age and barely working anymore.I’ve only had it for 2 days but so far I am impressed with how good it is.The display looks good and is bright enough for sunny days, it’s responsive and the refresh rate makes it snappy. The cameras are of decent quality, but I’m less interested in this as I use a DSLR for taking pictures. But overall, the quality of the pictures is acceptable and much better than that of my old phone.Charging is blistering fast and you can also use wireless charging (charger not included).I can’t say much about the battery life as I’ve only received the phone a couple of days ago, but it lasted a full day easily and with a top-up of 10 minutes it will last even more. The design of the phone is nice and the materials used feel premium and fingerprint resistant (other than the camera which is a fingerprint magnet). Keep in mind that the finish is very slippery! In the box, there is a charger, rubber case (which is good quality) and the usual stuff such as manuals, stickers and SIM tool. The phone comes with a pre-applied screen protector.

    Really happy with the product

Really happy with the phone. Battery life is significantly better than my old phone. The camera is decent, not the absolute best out there but still very good. The charging speed is phenomenal and you GET THE CHARGER IN THE BOX! Which is a refreshing change. You also get a screen protector pre installed and a case.

    Battery life

Love this phone for features like Hasselblad lens. Takes insane pictures! The battery life is miserable unfortunately. I still have my plusone 9 and I used it for two years. The battery is still super good. However 10 is poor. Not sure why. It’s details that are very important. Everything else is very good.

    Still my favourite phone

I bought this in July 2022, I write this review in November 2023. I am still really happy with this phone. the battery still lasts all day, with really fast charging within half an hour I have plenty to get me through the day with light browsing and some gaming. The screen still look really good and the camera is as snappy and fast as ever. really lowlight shots are a little bit of an issue with noise in darker areas. But as these phones constantly get compared to phones double the price, if that is my only problem with the phone, I can live with that. I don’t need to re buy this phone but it does make me want to keep an eye on what OnePlus does in the future.

Very disappointed with One Plus and Amazon also

I have been using Oneplus when they launched their 1st phone One+1 till One+7 . Recently, I wanted to upgrade and chose OnePlus 10 Pro 5G (UK Version) 12GB RAM 256GB for the same. But unfortunately this UK version had a lot of touch screen issues . It was very unresponsive and I had to literally tap it again and again and again and again (Min 4 Times ) to make it work . Extremely Disappointed .And now I had to ship it back myself to UK to claim my refund . Amazon is not shipping it back which is a extra hassle for me. My cover will also go waste. That is an extra monetary loss. OnePlus please look into this UK Version touch Screen Issue . It was very surprising for me but very bad experience.

    Best value for the price

This phone is the fastest thing when come to charging, that’s great. The camera quality is satisfactory, the battery life is very good, works all day and would be at 20% then gets back to full charge in 15 minutes

    Excellent phone

My son prefers Android, and he is a big gamer, so wanted a phone compatible with gaming during long hospital treatments. He loves this phone. I bought the Oneplus 8 and this was an upgrade. It has a much better battery life, and is very responsive. A very smart phone at a decent price point.

  37. Paul R

Best Android phone for the price …bar none!

This phone is so good. It has it all. Battery is 2-3x better than the pixel. Screen is better than the Pixel. Charge time is 5x better than the pixel. I could go on!

    A decent successor

Having used pretty much every generation of OnePlus in past and being accustomed to the UI and quality standards I would say this one doesn’t disappoint. Don’t listen to the biased reviewers, decided to go for this one after giving Pixel 6 a try for a few months and it was like a breath of fresh air. 80w charging is something you can’t overlook, especially since you get the actual charging brick in the box, plus a free case and a preinstalled screen protector. OnePlus have stuck to their super thin and light design, great built quality and the exterior is amazing (granted the camera module design is an acquired taste) no complaints there, at least from me. The phone looks super premium, fingerprint works flawlessly, God I missed that, especially whilst having been stuck with the pixel… Camera quality is up there, hardly the best but definitely not mediocre. 10bit shots can come up with some insane results, more than enough for the average every day user. The display is just out of this world, resolution is great, refresh rate I’d say matches the performance of my recently departed 8T. Battery life would vary, on a heavy duty day, I’d be at about 20% around 8pm-ish so can easily stretch to a full day depending on usage, mind you the super fast charging more than makes up for that. If you come from an earlier OnePlus, then the new incarnation of the oxygen os would be a bit of a disappointment but still dominating most of the alternatives on the market. Generally speaking if you’re looking for that established OnePlus experience you can’t go wrong, despite the relatively higher price point, I believe it’s still more than worth it if you’re considering OnePlus.

    Great phone but already registered

So I have no issues with the phone great battery life camera is amazing but do not purchase from Amazon warehouse as the device has already been linked to someone’s OnePlus account so unable to register it. When contacted Amazon only thing they could do is offer me a refund without a replacement. I spoke to numerous advisors non of them could get the previous owners details or contact them so they could de link the account. Something Amazon should of checked before relisting the item

One plus 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage. Best phone I’ve ever owned.

I cannot explain how happy I am with this phone. I’ve had bad phones the past couple of years and decided to pay more for this phone. Was not disappointed. The battery life is super long, when using its own charger, the charge is soo fast! In like 15 minutes i go from 10% to 60%-70%. The phone looks so nice, doesn’t slip out your hand too often if you don’t hold it well. Had the phone for about 5 months and so far have not found any fault or negatives. Definitely recommend this phone if you are willing to pay the price. Definitely worth it. Very happy!!

    very complicatedf factiory settings

I previously had a Huawei pro phone which gave up after 4years ,so needed a new one .Did not want to spend £1000+ on IPhone,PRO but wish I had. No problem with the old phone. This new phone a disaster with factory settings if you are not a geek.Took to a phone shop who took 10 mim to set settings to which I considered normal ,which i wanted..A few days later had to take back ,possibly intending to return to Amazon, as phone would not sound incoming calls.. Shop said problem with soft wear .Cost £ 30 to make good. Also this phone went to aeroplane mode without me touching anything.Unbelievable not able to receive important calls which went to voicemail.Best thing is camera, better than Leica Huawei pro.

    Bought it for its camera

Excellent replacement for my previous OnePlus phone (OnePlus 3, still in working order). Compared to my previous phone, this one is no longer a bargain buy, but I bought it on the strength of its camera spec and attendant premium phone features. The phone itself has a nice feel in the hand (I like the curved screen), provides display features that I like, as well as good performance and battery life (the included 80W charger is super). I have now coupled it with a OnePlus wireless charger, for maximum convenience (and to prolong the life of the USB-C socket!). Time will tell what I discover along the way, but the impressions to date are very positive.

Camera isn’t as best as my Samsung Ultra

As I mainly use my phone for taking quick photo’s and being quite a heavy user. The battery and camera aren’t as great as I was expecting although it does last a day I prefer to make sure I have a battery bank to hand.I wanted to cut costs and understood that taking the hit from a Samsung Ultra was going to be a change I have been disappointed with the camera in low light or if you are trying to catch something quickly.

Been using one plus phones for years so was really excited with this phone. Great phone and works well.Initial thought is it heats up so much that phone is piping hot to hold. Also quite disappointed that I didn’t receive a screen protector as this was meant to be in the box. Would’ve been good to receive what’s stated in the product description.

Don’t send back to amazon repair team, leave the warranty!

Phone was great until i broke it unfortunately. It was still under warranty so I sent back to amazon repair team and my phone is with them since 17 of Jan. So I think I had a phone, because they did not sent back to me and not responding to my emails too anymore….

Do not buy this phone, can i return it?

Where do i even begin….This phone has so many issues. The camera being the biggest. So the 1080p was rolled out knowing it doesnt work. Any video created in 1080p will play choppy and pixalted if shared. The wifi if you connect to sign on doesnt automatically take you to sign in. You have to fiddle your way to it. The reverse camera at night goes into his circle and even if the timer is off. It counts down 3 seconds and pictures come distorted because people move thinking it took the photo already. You cant even search apps from the home screen. There is no gallery installed on the phone either. When you try to add photos to instgram after you add a third party gallery. They wont show up in the your camera feed to share. Its soooo bad I want to smash it every time i use it. My huewai mate pro 20 even after 5 years of use. Still out performs this phone in every category other than maybe speed. Even my batter lasts longer. DO NOT BUY you will regret it. Its probably the worst android phone iv used. Every other phone iv ever bought that was android surpassed the previous. This one my god……why???

Great hardware not so convinced by the software

Update:I’ve now returned the phone to Amazon.Over time I found more issues with the software. I was coming to the end of the period where able to return and ultimately wasn’t satisfied enough with the quality of the device to continue using it. Back to my trusty OnePlus 6 for the time being. One issue in particular to be wary of – I had issues with the GPS. I was using the phone for navigation and you could see on Google Maps it thought I was located ~50 yards to the left of the road for the entire journey. That in turn meant that every time I drove past an intersecting road, maps thought I’d turned left and recalculated the route. It also struggled to pinpoint my location at the end of the route so ended up in the wrong place. Could it be a one off, maybe? But a quick Google search and there are others with similar issues. Haven’t had that issue, even once, before in a decade of using Android phones. Also issues with Google Assistant from maps, opening links from apps to the embedded browser, files app crashes randomly and other stuff. These things might get fixed with software updates but in the meantime you are left with a phone that doesn’t quite function fully.Downgrading rating from 3 to 2. It’s still got great hardware, it’s not an awful phone, you could do a lot worse. However, the software has serious issues and it’s not good enough for a £900 flagship phone. Especially when you’ve got the Google Pixel at the same price point.Bottom line – my 4 year old OnePlus 6 works better and doesn’t have any of the bugs I’ve found with a brand new OnePlus 10 Pro. I’ve lost faith in OnePlus and my next phone will likely be a Pixel.————————-Original Review:I’ve had the OnePlus 6 for nearly 4 years, it was a great phone then, it’s still a great phone now – I’m upgrading because the battery is on its last legs and I’m in the market for some 5G and a more modern camera.Enter the OnePlus 10 Pro 256GB.I’ve only had it for a few days but so far the hardware seems good: – Great screen – incredibly smooth – Just the right amount of curve to the edges of the screen – I was a little worried about this, haven’t really been a fan of curved screens but it’s good, I like it so far – Looks stunning – front and back, I’d have gone with black if I could get it in the 256gb but now I’ve seen it, do really like the green – Generally feels nice when you hold it – the width is good, about the same as the 6, fits in my hands nicely – Have taken a few quick snaps with the camera and they look good – haven’t given it enough of a test drive to properly review. I can tell already it’s heaps better than the 6 but unable to compare to a Pixel/others. – Fantastic fast charging – it’s super quick and charger is included (you’d think that would be the norm but isn’t with the Pixel)The only negative thing on the hardware front is it’s too long. I want the best hardware, lots of storage, a decent camera, etc but I don’t want a huge screen. It’s not crazy big, I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the norm in the market, if I hadn’t bought the OnePlus, I’d probably have gone for the Pixel Pro and I think that’s even bigger. I’m just not a fan of the trend of high spec phones meaning you have to have a big screen. It’s simple things like – I would like to be able to unlock my phone one handed. If face unlock works, that’s fine but if I need to do a pattern instead – it’s a two handed job. I’ve got average to large size hands – someone with small hands may struggle with this phone. The phone is mainly let down by the software. The phone has an OxygenOS version based on Android 12 but still looks like Android 11 with some OxygenOS and ColorOS – it doesn’t really know what it is. It’s essentially the same as my 4 year old OnePlus 6 but with some added bugs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible but it is a little buggy and lacks a quality finish. There are small details that are wrong – example when you unlock the phone with a pattern, the pattern area is in the top half of the screen but the way you typically hold your phone means your hand is at the bottom. Ok, that’s one tiny example that may not seem important but there are quite a few of these details and they all add up. When I bought the OnePlus 6 it was a flagship killer at ~£500/600 ish, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a flagship at ~£800/£900 – now it has to be compared to the big players and the details matter. In my opinion, the OS isn’t good enough for a phone at this level. This is software though, updates will get released, fingers crossed OnePlus pull their finger out and get it sorted.A little heads up to anyone else transitioning from the 6 to the 10 – there is no notification LED anymore. I really miss being able to glance at my phone and see a white dot for a WhatsApp message, a blue one for Signal, a red one for needs a charge, etc. Again, I’ll get used to it but be warned, it’s no longer there.Call me old fashioned but I do also miss the headphone jack. I know, I know, there are barely any phones that still have them now and we need to move on. But, I miss it.My rating of 3/5 feels a little harsh, in reality it’s more like 3.5/5 but the software stops me from rounding up to a 4/5. Ultimately, I’d still buy the phone again tomorrow, I don’t regret my purchase, I love my new phone. However, OnePlus need to remember what made them good in the first place – great phones at affordable prices. If you purchase this device from Amazon, you’ll receive a security code to give the driver to get your parcel. I’d advise opening the package in front of the driver to be sure you have a phone inside and reject delivery if not – take lots of pictures. Like another review listed, my first delivery was not a phone instead kids ice packs! After literally hours on the phone to Amazon and the police, I have a refund but it’s not an experience I care to repeat – absolute hell. I bought the phone again and it was successfully delivered on the second occasion.

End of an Era. My Last OnePlus device.

I have been a OnePlus fan since its very inception and have owned the OnePlus One, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 7T, (+ OnePlus X, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 8 my partner purchased since I have always been a vocal supporter of the OnePlus brand) and now, recently, an OnePlus 10 Pro, which unfortunately will be the last OnePlus Device I shall ever own. With every upgrade I’ve had, my disappointment have gradually increased. If you are considering to purchase the OnePlus 10 Pro and if this is your first OnePlus device, I’d say, go for it. It is still a good value for money. However, if you are just looking to upgrade from previous OnePlus device, like I did, I’d suggest just look else where. If I was to be completely honest, I would rather use my OnePlus 7T than the new OnePlus 10 Pro. The battery life on my 2.5 years old OnePlus 7T is exactly the same as this new phone. I would have imagined the battery to last a little longer than a day on a normal use. Reducing the screen refresh rate didn’t help much either. And not sure whether it is the Android 12 or Oxygen OS12, but I absolutely hate it. The only good thing about the OnePlus 10 Pro in comparison to the OnePlus 7T I’ve come across so far is the Design, Camera and the 5G support.Apart from that, I’ve had a horrible experience with Amazon Delivery and will probably be the last time I use the Amazon service to purchase anything above the value of £150.When I initially ordered the phone and it arrived, I was super excited to open the package, only to find that the OnePlus 10 Pro Box’s seal was broken and the phone itself was missing. It was clearly an inside job. I am surprised something like that can happen in a country like the U.K.After making several phone calls and frustrated with the unnecessary inconvenience that I had to go through, the Amazon Customer Service was able to issue a replacement which arrived 2 days after. This time, again, the Plastic Wrapping on the Box was missing, the seal looked like it had been tampered with. The pages of the manual inside the box were bent, crushed and worn out which all indicated what I received was actually a unit which would have presumably been previously returned by another person. I chose to keep the “Used” phone. I didn’t want to waste any of my time making another round of several phone calls and emails to the customer service.A big lesson learnt. The next time I buy a phone, I will make sure that I visit an actual phone store to ensure I am buying something brand new, hassle free.

    Issue with charging

I was using OnePlus phones from the very first one until this one, and this one was the last one I bought. They are changing towards mainstream brands which is not the great thing. My main issue with this phone is while connected to charger in the car, battery was draining when using google maps or waze. Same car, same cable – Samsung S23U – no issue at all.

    Great phone

Bought after upgrading from a Samsung, phone is really good, battery life is decent for the phone and the camera quality is really good. It’s a nice big phone which is what I wanted and the screen is very clear.

    Dissapointed

Bought the 10 pro back in November 22. I was not impressed with the device at all. Finger print reader is really slow. You have to touch couple of time to read your finger print. Additional unscanned index finger can unlock the phone. I dont know why is that happening. Battery life way worse than my previous Oneplus 5T. A lot of bugs. Sound is not loud at all. Screen brightness not good.

    Disappointed

Honestly I love one plus brand as I have one plus buds pro which is fantastic but about phone I m v disappointed..I had big hopes when I was buying as its 5g ..but poor camera quality, on YouTube video quality is poor and battery is disappointing. And sometimes browsing is not smooth..as I use Samsung s10 4g which is fantastic compared with 5g phone. So I m returning..one plus u have to improve a lot if you want to compete with big guns such as Samsung..my phone wasn’t cheap..its was £800 ..had a deal in black Friday..got it in £600 from amazon..but I must salute amazon..wow ..what a customer service..love it ..

    Great android phone

Good high end android experience. Haven’t really found anything this phone can’t do. Having wireless charging is a first for me on a OnePlus device, it’s not exactly ground breaking but it’s a nice option to have. The camera is great. The only thing I miss is some of the gesture short cuts that I was using on my previous OnePlus. I think these had to go to accommodate the later version of Android on this phone; a shame, but it’s the right trade off for me.
