OnePlus 12: Power-Packed Performance, Exceptional Battery, and Top-Notch Display

The OnePlus 12 boasts an exceptional battery life, making it a reliable companion throughout the day. The super-fast charging feature proves invaluable for quick top-ups when needed. The display is top-notch, delivering vibrant visuals that enhance the overall user experience.Equipped with Snapdragon Gen 3, the OnePlus 12 ensures seamless performance, effortlessly handling the latest mobile games. While slightly bulky, its ergonomic design becomes comfortable after a brief adjustment period. The camera may not surpass flagship competitors like the S24 Ultra or 15 Max Pro, but it outperforms other phones on the market. The sound quality is impressive, offering loud and clear audio.Additionally, the device provides a smooth and responsive interface, complemented by the latest software updates, ensuring a cutting-edge user experience. The build quality is robust, enhancing the overall durability of the device. Despite minor drawbacks, the OnePlus 12 stands out as a strong contender in the smartphone market.

    Best Phone in the Segment

Had Bought the 16/512Gb variant in the Pre-booking.. The Best Phone from OnePlus. They are back to claim their territory. Used the phone thoroughly. No issues at all.Beast performance, Extraordinary Battery, and Butter Smooth WOW Display, 5G works Flawlessly, Speakers are Loud enough..Wireless Charging is a Cherry on the Cake and charges the phone quite fast even with our Charging Pads in the Cars.Weight is a bit on higher side but is well balanced for the phone. No lag at all.Can Multitask easily. Gaming is also Seem less.. Put in a heavy task on it and the phone performs extremely well.Camera performance is also Good. You get a Master Mode where you can tweek the settings for some professional shots.P.S- This is not a Camera centric phone but is an all-rounder. Has everything Balanced in an Excellent way.Video Recording an watching content in Dolby Vision is next level.Just need an update for Optimising RAM Management. The Android System and Oxygen OS occupies almost 50-60% of the RAM.This is just a Nitpick and it doesn’t affect your usage and performance at all. (Also Tested this with installing 200+ Apps). You won’t notice this unless you go to find any issues 😜.You can expand the RAM anyways. All in all a Great Phone to Buy from a Brand like OnePlus. True Flagship Killer as per the Price.I would suggest to buy during Sale or some Card Offers for getting the best of the Money. Will update if I find some issues.Thank you 😊

    Amazing charging speed

Used for more than a week. 100w charger is a real magic. Charging in 10 to 15 mins when the battery is 50%UI does not differ much compared to other Android phones.Camera quality is decent.Phone is faster.

Complete Powerhouse with Top notch performance

Review after 1month of usage.I have upgraded from OP 8 pro to OP 12 now. Initially didnt feel much difference when switching between the elder brother to new one. But after prolonged time of usage found below details,Display / Screen :* Wonderful display quality and peak brightness really helps out.Performance :SD 3rd gen is the best in recent time, no lag. But found issues with few apps while multi tasking, hope it will be resolved in future OTA’s.Camera : Its best at its level, especially the nigh modes and Portraits.Battery : Best in the market for a flagship phone with 100 VOOC. What else needed ? Thanks to bring back wireless charging, its really helpfull in bike rides with BOBO wireless holder.

OnePlus is finally back on track!

This is the most well rounded phone OnePlus has made since the OnePlus 7T. If I were to make a list of pros and cons, the pros would have more than 50 and cons would have less than 5. At nearly 60% the price of current flagships, the OP12 does 95% of everything they do, some even better. The camera isn’t as good as 1L+ phones but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s VERY good. On the performance front, idk what they did with this “Trinity engine” but I can tell that it’s not just a marketing gimmick it actually works! Finally on the looks, I would say this is the first time I have ever considered and bought a color other than black/grey – the Flowy Emerald is THAT GOOD! (and pictures don’t do it justice).

Awesome phone… But amazon services are worst

Phone is very satisfactory and beautiful. But I advice u all to not to buy phone from amazon. Its pathetic experience. 1st of all they are unable to deliver the product bcz it gets damaged in transit (happen twice with me)then when u order again delivery agent will haunt u saying he will cancel the order if u r not available at that moment or call u again and again saying reset the phone(exchanged one). Also he has taken my old phone along with charger and original box, said If I don’t give these then phone delivery can b cancelled or price will be reduced. I will never buy phone from amazon.

Excellent cameras and battery backup but delivery service of Amazon is worst at Pin-786184

Excellent product with good camera in comparison with IPhone 15maxPro and battery backup is like immortal in comparison with other mobile. But I had a nightmare when the delivery agent showed item delivered without coming to my door step as always. I had to find out the agency and find out te delivery agent which cost me much more than the shipping charges. I raised complaint to customer care but no fruit came out of it.

    The Best of all flagships

Possibly the best of all flagships at all levels, including pricing. No other alternative. 4 years of software updates & only security patch update in the 5th year. Time to switch to the next one plus in the 4th or 5th year. That said 16 GB with 512MB for ₹69,999 is the best, black & Green colour options. Final call, Buy & be happy for next 5 years. Solid, elegant, Durable, Flagship killer.

Great buy the phone is super smooth and now i can say Oxygen OS has improved a lot after the merger with Color OS the only nitpicking i would say they should’ve given the esim support as they announced earlier (can be turned on through OTA update). Overall happy with the phone.

    The Beast 😈

The OnePlus 12 is remarkably smooth and fast as the tagline “Smooth Beyond Belief”. The Camera, the Display, the Charging Speed are outstanding. I have purchased the Flowy Emerald variant and now no doubt why it beat the most loved colour Black. I loved it.But just a negative point regarding the seller, even after 4 days of booking the package was not shipped. I have to contact the support team and finally it was shipped on the date on which it was supposed to be delivered to me.

    All rounder phone.

Pros—-1. Fast charging 1-100% in 28min. Never think about low battery.2. Super steady zoom3. Slightly Curved screen providing comfortable holding4. Fast-fluid-bloatfree os. I was a bit sceptical of the os after the code merger but I think its for betterment as now the camera is superb.5. All day battery6. The processor is very optimised and hardly reach 40 degrees even while running two heavy games simultaneously – marvel snap and mobile legends.7. I love the floating window – its a gem of multi-tasking.8. I adore the camera. Its fast and accurate. The portrait images will make even iphone hide in shadow. Master mode is awesome – once you start using it, u ll understand how good it feels to see natural colours.9. Exceptionally bright colour accurate screen. Never had any problem in outdoor visibility.Cons:—–1. Some old bugs still exist wherein switching the alert slider while google chrome is opened will trigger search function.2. Internet browser is the only blaotware and its not uninstallable.3. Nothing other…

From OnePlus 7 to 12: My Upgrade Journey

Having used the OnePlus 7 for the past four years, switching to the OnePlus 12 has been a significant improvement. The exchange offer was quite beneficial, allowing me to save ₹15,000. Although the OnePlus 12 comes with the new Android 14, which has some minor bugs, I’m hopeful these will be resolved in the forthcoming update. From the perspective of a OnePlus 7 user, the camera quality has notably improved, although there’s still room for enhancement in photo quality. Overall, it’s a great phone that I’m really enjoying.

The most power packed Flagship you can get in this range!

I’ll begin my review with an overall approach. Firstly, the features-to-pricing ratio is absolutely brilliant. You’ll get:- A big and bright screen- 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3- Alert Slider- Hassleblad 4th Gen Camera- 100W wired + 50W wireless chargingThese are some of the main highlights I found on the phone. The phone is very smooth, and the UI is very fluid. Currently, it’s running on Android 14.The color “Flowy Emerald” is absolutely beautiful, and the device feels great in hands. The looks and feel of the device are very premium. The camera is one of the best I’ve ever used in a OnePlus phone. I’ve been using OnePlus phones since the OnePlus 2.5G connectivity and call quality are very good, and you face no issues on the device communication side.Overall, it’s a great device and provides a flagship experience. If you are looking to buy a phone in the 60-70k range, you should pick up this one as I don’t think anyone comes around this beast at that range.

Powerful Camera and amazing battery life, super charging speed

It’s Been a month now and I am completely satisfied with OnePlus 12 (16/512). I had earlier OnePlus 7 used it for 5 years, hence I thought to be brand loyal and waited for OnePlus 12 and I have no regret. It’s far far better compared to Samsung ultra 24/23 which I was initially planning for but dropped the plan knowing the high price. Then I opted for OnePlus 12 which is worth investing 69k the camera , display battery life amazing, I haven’t downloaded any games for now but I am sure it won’t disappoint either amazing phone with smooth performance. Thanks OnePlus team and thanks Amazon… Cheers 🥂

My first flagship after OnePlus 6T

I rarely buy flagships, and much less on pre-order. I’ve seen several flagships come and go as I used my OP 6T on and off since 5 years. I’ve always been an LG fan and have used their phones almost exclusively until I was forced to use a second hand 6T as my main phone after my Velvet started to slow down after a year. Now 6T was an excellent model of OnePlus when it was riding the crest of flagship killers. What a worthy phone and still going strong even after so many years. I had to consider a new phone after my heavy app usage started to take a toll on this unit. The battery backup was still decent, but with a shattered back, I was hoping for a decent good-bye to this well used work horse. When OP12 was announced, something stirred in me like never before. Mind you, I’ve never batted an eyelid when so many models of OP and other heavyweights like Samsung, Vivo etc were released all these years. The Nothing phone 1 briefly seemed like a choice I’d make in a perfect world, but with their second model, they seemed to be making the same mistake that OnePlus had started making from their OP 8 onwards- price hikes based on previous success and average-ish features. And Nothing went by the no-charger move as a new phone company, parroting the big wigs and I dislike the hypocritical arguments these brands give. If you truly are a sincere, nature-conscious brand, you’ll want every customer to get the fast charging brick and a bonus case with your phones, not just a bare-bone phone and claim environmental claims, when in fact separate packaging of charging bricks costs more to the environment and landfills.Anywho, the OnePlus 12 had the features that not only made me notice them once again, but they also packed everything in it with premium features second to none, and also offered generous exchange bonuses and EMI discounts…now that’s what I call the return of this brand. Finally, somebody got serious on their board and started to think of value more than profits.I got a whopping 9k for my shattered 6T and a neat 5k in EMI discount. The phone effectively cost me about 54k, a steal for the specs of this flagship.Everything from unboxing to using the phone has been a joy. Almost every day I discover something nice. Many thoughtful features on the 12 have made me feel nostalgic as I reminisce about the good old feature-packed LG phones of a not-too-distant past. And of course, the camera is the sweetest thing here on the 12! What a pro-level experience for both novices and seasoned camera enthusiasts! Now I’m no professional, but for my untrained eyes, every picture looks perfect and videos are as fluid and crisp as any high-end camera out there.OnePlus has gotten one word back into their dictionary again- generous. From giving a 100-watt charger, a case to almost every high-end spec under the hood for a steal, now that’s called being generous and then some. Many of the UI features are also in the OP11, so very early on, I learnt the hidden tricks and features of the 12 by devouring videos about the 11.Battery is an all-time high for a flagship and the backup is excellent. I go for 2 days on a single charge. I’m not a gamer, but I imagine you’ll squeeze out a lot of juice from this baby and it will still not run dry. I still use the 6T’s fast charger and have reserved the 100-watt beast for travel. I’m in no hurry at home :)All in all, this has been the best purchase in 5 years for me. I’m so glad I waited and hit the jackpot with the 12. If OnePlus continues this winning formula of value over profits, they’ll be crowned “flagship killers” once again and rightfully so.

Just Shifted from OP 7 to OP 12 and feels just about right

This phone is just about best in it’s price range. The bigger brands give you their cheapest alternative at this price range. And the cheaper brands give you buggy OS and lower Camera performance. This camera setup is best Oneplus is offering right now. Sample pic attached. If you are a Oneplus user you would know what to expect. Smooth transitions. Good OS and a nice camera which may become better with updates.Haptics are a lot better.Best Display and Battery.Should be a safe bet for 5 years if you buy the 512gb version.Would let you know if anything bad happens.Giving one star less due to less exchange price during checkout by delivery boy. This is happening with me everytime I am exchanging mobiles on Amazon. Amazon should consider fixing price of exchange phone beforehand as after Resetting the previous phone users will seldom back away from the exchange.

    Fabulous display and camera

OnePlus 12 has delivered. This is my second OnePlus after 7 Pro and I am happy to admit that it was worth choosing this device.Since there are enough reviews on YouTube that describes the device perfectly I will share my experience of using the phone for nearly two months. The best feature of the device is its display. The screen is crisp, large and soothing to the eye. It’s amazing how good the screen fares under direct sunlight. However, I am facing an issue with automatic screen off. The display stays on even after 30 secs which is quite annoying. If not for its gargantuan battery it would have been a major ick. But even after using this phone heavily during the day I am left with nearly 25% charge at the end of the day. Well done, OnePlus. The camera system is another field where the phone has done very well. Despite some reviewers complaining about the average 📸 I am impressed by its capabilities. The portraits are a class apart with enough detail to be used for print. It’s high-res mode captures 12MP photos that have even more depth and richness in it. I am yet to test it for outdoor landscapes. The exposure by default is low and the colours are pitch perfect so don’t expect to have a pop-y outcome. The camera app does come with post edit features that can help but you may need to use third party apps for best results. However, it’s not always perfect and one needs to try a few times to get the perfect results.Gaming is also great on this device. BGMI is smooth but for some reason I was unable to play it in Max graphics. Despite that the game runs like hit knife in butter. And no, it does not have any heating issues. I use a back cover so will most using this phone. No heating issues so far. There isn’t much to complain about the phone. Sure it’s heavy, it’s curved around the edges, the camera bump might feel a tad too big and unnecessary. But the phone feels premium in hand. It’s undoubtedly the best look for a phone in the segment. Especially the flowy emerald version. Sometimes it’s green, sometimes blue and grey. It’s surely a collector’s piece.Go for it if you are ready to spend 65k on a phone. It’s better than the samsungs and iphones in this segment. Also watch out for the Leica cameras. I hear they are great as well.Camera 4.5/5Display 5/5Haptics 5/5Battery 5/5Gaming 4/5Network 5/5Software 4/5Audio 5/5Design 4.5/5Happy shopping ❤️

Except the Camera, a flagship in all regards

Let me address the big fat elephant in the room. The camera is bad. Not mediocre, not average, just bad.Rest of the phone is pretty amazing, the smoothness of the UI, although I don’t like the theming and the styles they have gone for the settings app. The experience as a whole has been positive. The apps stay opened in the background.I observed that Instagram and WhatsApp are by default RAM locked. This makes me wonder, if OnePlus just hard-coded the apps to keep in memory and called it RAM vita. The storage speed is honestly not an issue for me, when I connect my phone to the Mac and transfer the data, it’s fast, not as fast as my S24U, but still plenty fast that you wouldn’t complain. This is my daily workhorse with loads of office apps installed and running in the background always along with meets in outdoor. The battery has been the highest selling factor for me, I use the PD 70w charger and it charges the phone from 10-100 in about 45 mins, Even though the included charger is faster, this PD support helps me carry only one charger.Display gets very bright outdoors and while watching HDR content. No complaints there. Haptics are great, Audio quality and volume is awesome, I’d have liked to see more color options, like a white variant or the almond one of 7Pro. But it’s what it is.Probably I might get another OnePlus in future if they come up with non obstructive screen like on 7Pro and with thin bezels and curved screen. Till then this has to do the deed.

Some applications not working with dual mode and multi app.One good feature is we can take out cutout from pic but we don’t have ability to choose whom to select in the cutout it’s automatically selected so ai is not fully working ,if I want one person cutout from the picture it’s not possible.Xdr mode is there but how to store image with pro xdr it’s just for check not to store after applying proxdr.

A Flagship Killer – A Good phone from Oneplus After 8 Series

I aa switching to Oneplus after using Pixel Series and Very impressed with phone.Following are Great Things About this phone1. Display – Display is super bright, super smooth and it is main highlight of phone.2. Battrey and Charging – huge 5500mah battrey is great, full use with samart watch connected I get almost full day battrey. And if battery is low Supervooc comes to rescue.. Charges phone in just 20 mins (0 to 100)3. OXYGEN OS IS GREAT with many great features.4. Other 1 thing I really appriciate is Irblaster it is a must have feature in flagship.TALKING about negativesCamera can be improvedAnd false commitment from Oneplus about ufs storage version in 16-256 variant was also not acceptable.

    Excellent 💯

Really nice feel like holding a premium phone..build quality is top notch..Display 🔥Battery iam getting sot around 9hr 15min in 5g one simCamera performance not great even 20k phone have same camera performance of 12RGameing is good @90fps but after playing for morethan 1hr in 90 fps phone getting slightly warm and fps dropping in bgmi but for a normal casual player who play bgmi cod for 3 hr in 60fps there is no problem..For 46k only UFS 3.1 that’s disappointingIam 90% satisfied in this phone…It has great 1.5k display with curved panel(better than Neo 9pro)Victus 2 protection (better than Neo 9pro)Dolby vision and atmos support (better than Neo 9pro)Polished ui (better than Neo 9pro iqoo has fun touch os with ads)Glass back + metal frame(better than Neo 9pro) it feels like holding a premium phoneNFC(Neo 9 pro has no NFC)Ip64 ( Neo 9 pro has only ip53 with cheap quality build)Note: if you are a hardcore gamer don’t purchase OnePlus 12R purchase iqoo Neo 9 pro which best for gaming and it has dedicated gaming chip + it hast UFC 4 with best pricing but remember the cost cutting..If you want a allrounder phone then choose OnePlus 12R

Flagship Killer is Back, Finally OnePlus is back like the old days

Been a OnePlus user for a long time, right from OnePlus 1, but after getting OnePlus 9 as my last device, I was highly not satisfied with the phone & After using it for 6 months, I sold it and switched to Samsung, But looking @Oneplus 12 I feel OnePlus is back with its Flagship Killer Device, Smooth Software, Amazing Battery Life, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3,Just few ThingsbI would like OnePlus to work on is, Flat Display instead of Curve & Improve in terms of Camera Performance mainly in the Software department

    The Flagship killer!!!

Pros :-1. Awesome sleek Build2. UI is fluid3. 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look and feel smooth (without lag whatsoever)4. Impressive touch response5. Spectacular haptic feedback6. Great Battery life (lasts almost 2 days)7. Beast performance8. Hyper Engine is an added value to gaming fanatics (Hyper resolution, Hyper HDR and Hyper framerate)9. Trinity Engine is equivalent to Iphones RAM and ROM management10. SuperVOOC charge is flabbergasting’ly fast (0%-100% in ~20 mins)11. Charger brick and cable in the box12. Wifi 7 enabled13. built-in screen protector is sufficient enough (although applying a 3rd party screen protector is a hassle due to it’s curve edges)14. Oneplus came back with a bang after a long timeCons :-1. Great camera for the price range (not like Rs. 1 lakh+ Samsung Galaxy S24 or Iphone 15)2. Sometimes closing an app makes the whole screen go black for a moment3. Users have seen green line after software update (haven’t updated mine for the same reason)4. Touch response is quite tricky near the Curvy edges5. Curvy edges makes a hell lot of distraction due to reflectionVerdict :-Highly recommended for an overall package of a true Android smartphone experience!!!

    MOST AMAZING TECHNOLOGY

I have upgraded from one plus 7 to one plus 12 and it gives me immense pleasure to share my genuine reviews . First of all you will love the speed of the phone like no lags at all and everything is so amazing that you will be amazed by the performance of the phone .camera is superbly good , fast charging is very good and helpful specially when you have 20 odd minutes to leave for office and your phone has the battery for the whole long day . From my point of view it’s a must buy for someone who is looking for an upgrade from any one plus device .

A flagship performer without the flagship price.

Easily one of the best purchases that I have made and well worth its price.Pros:- SD 8 Gen 2 is fast and very power efficient. The performance is indistinguishable in day to day usage when compared to SD 8 Gen 3 on a OnePlus 12 with UFS 4.0. Even though the 12R has a UFS 3.1 storage, you are unlikely to notice any difference whatsoever without running benchmarks or checking the specifications. In real life day to day usage, I have not found any difference and I am a power user who uses a lot of applications and use the phone over 8 Hours a day.- The vapour chamber handles the cooling very well which keeps the device at excellent temperature even when playing games for an extended duration. It almost never goes over 38c.- The display has the same features as the OnePlus 12 (the resolution is relatively lower but it’s not noticeable to the naked eye without magnification) and this is one of the best displays that you will come across. The HDR performance is also some of the best I have seen and it is a completely different experience. This can also be seen in the HDR shots taken with cameras. I’d suggest going to a OnePlus experience center and searching for 12K HDR videos on YouTube to get a better idea. Note that the 4,500 nits mentioned is only the HDR brightness at a small white portion of the display under sunlight. This is NOT the max brightness of the full display. But it is bright enough to use under direct sunlight.- Battery life is very impressive with over 8 hours of SOT and the 100W included charger fully charges it in about 35 mins.- Also love that the display can be used even when your hands are wet unlike most other smartphones- The bezels are extremely slim and the chin is smaller than the one on the OnePlus 12. I do wish it was equal all around though.Rather than cons, I’ll just mention what it lacks.- Wireless charging- Telephoto cameraThat’s pretty much it. If you are looking for a smooth and reliable device with solid performance, battery life, fast charging, decent cameras and display experience, I would easily recommend this. Sure the cameras may not be as good as an iPhone 15 (81k) or a Pixel 8 (83k) but they also cost around 80% more than the OnePlus 12R.

Great phone overall but what’s up with the camera tuning?

TLDR; Great phone for buyers who are looking for a well-rounded phone which can do a bit of everything, but don’t buy it if your top priority is the camera. I have judged the camera harshly because cameras are important in flagships.Display – 7.5/10Camera – 6.5/10Performance – 9/10Software – 8/10Battery – 9.5/10Connectivity – 9/10I upgraded from my OP9R to this and got a nice exchange bonus out of it. I had briefly used a Pixel 8 Pro as well, and while the software and camera were superior than the OP12, their hardware was outdated and I faced a lot of connectivity issues so I ended up returning the P8P.Note: I will say that when it comes to the overall phone experience and my personal requirements, OnePlus 12 is better than Pixel 8 Pro in my opinion and also ₹35k cheaper. This phone is already competitively priced so I got a good deal out of it. Here are my initial impressions -1. ACCESSORIES: Getting a charger and a phone case in 2024 out of the box makes me really happy. The case is okay but I would recommend getting a better one. The charger is big and heavy as it’s 100W.2. DISPLAY: The display is – clarity and quality wise fantastic, and any media you play in a higher resolution will look phenomenal. The brightness is also quite ample even under full sunlight conditions. Although 4500 nits is misleading but when you access HDR content, you will witness it’s not entirely a gimmick. A display this good at this price is commendable. The display is also CURVED, which is worst thing about it. This is the first curved display phone I’ve used and it’s a bad experience for me. The light glares on the curved parts break the immersion while watching videos or browsing, photo editing can be a pain, causes problems in copy-pasting texts, gathers a lot of dust and not to mention how they are susceptible to more damages even with a good case on. It gets worse in sunlight. It will take some getting used to but I will never like it.3. CAMERA: Camera has good clarity (the 10-bit mode can further enhance picture quality) but is also frustrating at times. There are a lot of moments when it overexposes, over sharpens and messes up the white balance in certain parts of photos after processing. I’ve had to manually tweak the exposure settings to get the scenes right a lot of times. Rear camera seflies indoors, sky pictures and sceneries with a lot of dynamic range come out weird after processing sometimes. The whole point of Hasselblad tuning is that the photos should be true-to-life. Sometimes pictures come out too warm indoors. Outdoors they perform better. I have had to use the Master Mode on Auto to take some pictures so that the processing does not ruin the picture. The downside of Master Mode is that your photos will end up looking a bit bland (because there’s no post-processing happening) and it does not handle dynamic ranges well.QUICK TIP: Turn off the ProXDR mode from the inbuilt gallery settings. It exaggerates photo quality on your display but is useless outside your gallery once you upload those photos somewhere.Night mode is okay and gets the job done but don’t expect it to perform a miracle with bad lighting conditions. Portrait mode is fantastic, edge-detection is very well-tuned. The Pro mode is where this camera shines and makes the use of the camera hardware but the majority won’t use it. The glass coating on the camera is very susceptible to damage because it covers a better part of your phone’s back so you will need to buy a good case.Digital zoom is not very good in my opinion considering IQOO 12 has done a much better job with it while being significantly cheaper.Video recordings from the rear camera come out clear enough and the audio quality is also good. But when you’re switching lenses for zooming in, you’ll notice a bit of stutter and a slight change in the colour gradient. When you’re zooming in a lot, the camera takes 3-5 seconds before registering a focus object and detecting it properly. Super stable mode works well but only with 60fps. 30fps recording mode is not that smooth, with sub-par stabilization and stutters a lot when switching lenses. These have been an ongoing issue for a few generations and one would have expected OP to resolve it by now.Front camera is pretty average (even more disappointing indoors). It works well in daylight but indoor pictures look like they’re taken from a mid-range phone. They did tune the front camera to have a wider angle which is good. Video recording from the front camera doesn’t allow 60 fps but allows 4K recording now.OP clearly needs to work in the camera department in future updates. Their camera algorithms are quite behind compared to the current industry standards even though the phone has good camera hardware.Overall camera is okay for daily use but if it’s your main priority, this phone might not be for you.4. CONNECTIVITY AND CALL QUALITY – Did not notice any call drops, 5G works well and the person on the other end heard my voice very loud and clear. Bluetooth and WIFI are working well.IR blaster works but don’t expect it to be compatible with every device. Gets the job done regardless and a super convenient feature that I wish more phones had these days.5. BATTERY AND CHARGING – It is fantastic. Can last a full day on medium to heavy usage, and 1.5 days on light usage. They have also introduced battery health management features which is an added bonus. I had to try really hard to drain the battery completely.Charging time is 25-27 mins after full drainage. The smart charging feature to conserve battery health over time is a nice addition. Haven’t used the wireless charging or reverse wireless charging so wouldn’t be able to comment on it.My current SOT shows up as almost 9 hrs and 1d 5 hrs since last charge with 7% charge left. Battery is crazy good as you can see.6. PERFORMANCE: Top-notch performance, phone feels super fast and snappy. Got only slightly warm during gaming (I played CoDM), continuous camera operations and charging. Their new cooling system is proving to be very good.Read and write speeds, app installations are also super fast.7. SOFTWARE: Oxygen OS 14 has some very good parts (quick launch, smart sidebar, file docker etc), and some bad parts. There are some Android 14 features that have not been implemented correctly (why do I have to manually set refresh rates for all the apps even after selecting the high refresh rate option?) or are absent (where are the lock screen customisations?). OOS14 is still proving to be a good experience for me overall.I have not encountered any bugs in my day to day usage and every operation on the phone has been seamless so far. Honestly, I expected OP12 to be quite buggy at launch but I’m happy that they are learning from their mistakes.OP has managed to give great features in an extremely competitive price and I would say I’m mostly happy with my purchase (except maybe the camera). China models will see AI features soon and I hope global launches follow the suit.
