Do what’s best for your body.
Fitbit Charge 5 + Premium connects the dots between your activity, sleep and stress so you can make the best decisions for your body, mind and health. It all starts with your 6-month Premium membership1 and Daily Readiness2, a score based on activity, sleep and heart rate variability (HRV) that helps you optimize your workout routine.
Your score comes with personalized activity recommendations: low means go easy and recover–light yoga, deep breathing–while a high score gives you the green light to go all out. Enhance your recovery routine with advanced stress-management tools like the on-wrist EDA sensor.
Stay ahead of heart health with atrial fibrillation (AFib) heart rhythm assessments using the on-wrist ECG app.3 And you’ll always have motivation to reach new goals with hundreds of guided workouts, a gallery of refreshing mindfulness sessions plus the fitness features you know and love like Active Zone Minutes and built-in GPS.

Bought in March Dead by August
It was good while it lasted. Simple, functional good batter life. But this was my 2nd and last Fitbit in under 1.5 years. Both the sense and Charge 5 stopped functioning in less than 1 year each. I did like the Charge 5. I was going to replace it but there are other similar options for $50.

Didn’t last 4 months
I loved my Charge 4 and decided to upgrade to the 5. The charge 5 sometimes hooked to my phone and sometimes not…had a mind of its own…and then this happened… You can’t really see in the picture but the date says 5/28 and the time says 10:40… well today is 6/09 and the time is 12:24. I have called Fitbit and did everything I could do to fix this. What really bites, is the fact that this store is not recognized by Fitbit so now I am out over $150 dollars. If it had been an authorized Fitbit store it would have been under warranty for s year… not a month like Amazon! Do I recommend… absolutely NOT. If I could leave stars I would!

Short battery life.
First off I have not reported this issue to Fitbit. The battery will no last over a day and a half without being recharged. I hope this is an isolated incident and can be resolved after I contact Fitbit.

Charger often doesn’t work
I like my Fitbit, however the charging cord often doesn’t connect and work. I feel like every Fitbit that I’ve had has had an odd charger and this one is no different. It just doesn’t always recognize that the charger is attached and therefore doesn’t start charging. I have to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect until it finally attaches appropriately. It just seems like a major design flaw and something I wouldn’t expect from a big brand like this.

Durability
I have had two. Both failed after one year. Past their self proclaimed warranty. Do not buy. Just talked to customer service and they said too bad

I loved it! Until it quit working after 18 months Replaced it… that one didn’t work.
I replaced the 5 with a charge 6I have to say that Fitbit did supply me with a 50% off code (from retail price) but the holiday sale was already 40 % off. : )After receiving the charge 6 I attempted to use it for a week and it wouldn’t sync without shutting down my phone and the fitbit and… blah, blah, blah. I sent the 6 back & got a refund. Now I have no 50% off code.

Fitbit is no longer the same product
I used to love my Fitbit. It was the perfect size and loved the app. Fitbit has completely changed and is no longer the same product. It is not compatible with iOS. I have to constantly restart the tracker for it to update. It was never this way before. If you bring your concerns to their forums, they delete the comments. I have seen some say Google is aligning Fitbit to be compatible with Pixel products. If that’s the case, if you don’t have a Pixel product, Fitbit might not be for you.

11-2023 app update
There are lots of exercises on fitbit and you can create custom ones – for instance if you wanted “rucking” or specific martial arts — HOWEVER – you can only add few predetermined exercises to the watch menu , and with the latest app update you can no longer change the category. I use to track my rowing machine with spinning and quickly change it to rowing machine and keep all the hear-rate data (in fact I do this will almost every workout I do) — can’t do that anymore. Now all I can do is log a category and get ZERO heart rate or specific data. I hate to see features get taken away.

Reliable watch, but…
I like what Fitbit has to offer to its user. I especially like its health monitoring capabilities. My only issue with the Fitbit is that the charger’s pins eventually wreck the watch’s charging contacts. I have yet to have one last more than a year due to this problem. Fitbit, please find a better charging method.
