Unnatural bass
Bass is so unnatural and it is sometimes wierd and disturbing, on high volumes when subwofer comes is other sounds are fading. I was using bang and olufsen beoSound a1 and sound was way more clear than this one.

Boombox: Yes. Quality sound: No. A huge disappointment.
I bought my daughter and husband the new Bose 360-degree portable speaker: absolutely fantastic sound. At the same time, I decided to “treat” myself to this SoundlinkFlex speaker, but what a colossal disappointment. Very poor sound quality. Muffled sound. Good quality build and good volume, very sad about the sound. It is an effort to listen to it and is really not worth the money. This is the first time where I was really disappointed by Bose. I wonder what the Sonos sounds like.

We needed a soundbox / portable speaker which we can carry everywhere and use in every single room .. or even use as a “little” home cinemasound for living room.This product meets all my expactions and more. I did a long research .. have seen a lot of youtube videos of comparrisons with Marshal / JBL / Sonos and so on.We decided to buy Bose Soundlink Flex.+ crazy good sound .. just unbelievable what a little speaker like this can produce+ very good Batterie life (easy 10 hours+)+ Extremly good looking and very good quality finish+ super fast bluetooth connection with all my LG TV’s / Apple devices, can even be connected to more devices simontanously and does not make any problems at all+ super cheap price for that quality- only one negative thing, the buttom of it should be a bit larger .. its not 100% stable .. if it stands straight it flips over with a little touch .. but thats not an big issueWe love that product so much .. and we don’t even consider to buy a home cinema sound system after using this speaker. Of course a full system is much better and louder .. but this little speaker is just crazy good. Would give 100+ stars xDTotally recommend it!

I’ve wasted so much money trying to find a good “cheap” speaker. I’ve bought them all and none of them are half as good as this speaker. As you are probably aware, bose has a unique sound signature and you can tell a bose speaker just by the tone, you don’t need to see it. I’ve tried countless other speakers and to be honest, they all sound garbage when placed against this one. This thing is a beast – loud enough to fill a room, absolutely crystal clear lows, mids and highs, deep warm bass that doesn’t overpower or overwhelm the total sound. Speakers usually come in 2 flavors – ridiculously loud, overpowering bass that sound terrible at low volume…or zero bass and tinny top end. Well this speaker is as close to flawless as you can get – it sounds just as good at low volume as it does when you max out the volume. The sound is so rich and deep without ever getting muddy or distorted, the separation of sounds is incredible, you can hear each and every instrument! Normally waterproof speakers are poor quality because the waterproofing muffles the sound, but not here – I don’t know how bose did it, but they created the perfect portable speaker. It’s so good I bought 2 so I can get stereo sound from them (the single speaker is obviously mono).Yes bose speakers cost a little more than the other brands but trust me on this, these speakers are 100s of times better than the rest. I really have lost count of the amount of speakers I’ve bought and none of them can hold a candle to bose – as the saying goes, nothing is more expensive than a cheap product. You get what you pay for and these are the best of the best. Your music deserves to be played on these – don’t skimp on the speakers, these are the best money can buy so treat yourself, you deserve it. After the disgusting taste JBL speakers left in my mouth, it’s nice to be able to have a proper pair of bose speakers!*edit* oh my God….I finally got my 2nd bose speaker and linked them up for stereo sound….it’s quite simply the greatest set of speakers I’ve ever heard!! It immediately blows every other set of speakers I’ve ever heard right out of the water! Flawless, perfect, incredible…I simply don’t have the right words to describe how good these speakers are. The 1 bose speaker sounded amazing…but linking 2 of them together just elevated it to a different dimension. It’s like I’m hearing my music again for the first time, everything sounds absolutely phenomenal. Trust me on this, buy 2 of these and link them up. I will never, ever, buy another brand of speaker; these are THAT good!

Geweldig geluid, deze moet je hebben!
Ik heb al menig bluetooth speaker gehad; van JBL tot Ultimate Ears tot Sony. Maar deze overtreft echt alles, hij heeft misschien niet zoveel van die ‘handige’ features zoals een ingebouwde powerbank maar de geluidskwaliteit maakt alles goed. Gewoon een heel mooi vol en zuiver geluid, alles is goed in balans zowel het laag, mid en hoog. Zelfs als je de speaker harder zet blijft hij goed klinken, alleen helemaal open merk je iets compressie in het geluid (1 tikje omlaag niet meer). Iedereen die deze speaker gehoord heeft was verbaasd. Accuduur is ook erg goed. Kortom: een top ding en echt beter dan elke andere speaker van dit formaat op de markt!

Stavo cercando uno speaker bluetooth di qualità e resistente ad ogni possibile maltrattamento (mio padre è alquanto maldestro :)Dopo varie ricerche, visto che il mercato degli speaker bluetooth è ormai affollatissimo, ho deciso di acquistare questa Soundlink Flex e vi elenco quelli che a mio parere sono i pro e contro di questa piccola cassa.Pro:- Design veramente interessante, comodo da trasportare ed utilizzare (grazie all’occhiello presente a lato dello speaker)- Suono davvero nitido e ben bilanciato ben bilanciato- Connessione bluetooth molto veloce e stabile- Ampia gamma di colorazioni per tutti i gusti- Ottima qualità costruttiva (è già sopravvissuto senza problemi ad un paio di brutte cadute)- Grado di impermeabilità IP67- Ottima durata della batteria- Funzione vivavoce per smartphone- Attivazione assistente vocale direttamente dallo speaker- Carica con USB-C- Immediatezza nell’utilizzo (credetemi, questa cosa non è scontata)Contro:- Sarebbe stato bello avere ancora più autonomia della batteria- Compressione presente quando si raggiunge il massimo volume

Amazing Bose quality as always
Bought this as an upgrade to use during Volleyball games. I have both the Bose Soundlink Mini II and Bose Soundlink Micro, loved them both but they’re getting a little old. I did some research on a few YouTube reviews and they all had good things to say about the Bose Soundlink Flex (compare to other Bose products like the Soundlink Revolve II or other brands, the Flex is better sound than the Bose Revolve II and Revolve+ II). The Flex is louder, better sound, better bass, better battery and solid build compared to both my Bose Soundlink Mini II and Micro. I’ve always been a Bose fan for their sound clarity while also having good bass (as opposed to ones like Dr.Dre with too much bass). This Bose Soundlink Flex is a very happy purchase. It’s a lil bigger and heavier than the Bose Mini II and Micro, but the better sound/better bass and louder volume(without sacrifice in sound quality) makes up for it. This will last a few years before the next Bose I’ll be getting

Well Worth the Investment Due to Good Quality and Design
This speaker was the second replacement I purchased, and I am glad I did.In stark contrast to the first one I bought, this unit is solidly built and well constructed. It feels and looks very sturdy and doesn’t give me the impression that it will be easily broken or damaged.The design is better than that of other speakers I’ve owned in the past. It has a good, broad surface area, so the sound isn’t at all tinny, and due to its shape, it does not fall over, even if put onto a softer surface.Getting it paired to my device was fairly easy.I like the layout of the buttons.I really did not expect a speaker this size to sound great. I wasn’t in the market for something that could dominate an outdoor party, so this would have been tolerable. However, I am very pleased with the sound quality. It’s neither too tinny nor too heavy, and I find it works just as well for music as it does for other audio. Mainly, I use it in my room to read audio books, and it does a good job; I’m sure it would be quite a nice choice for those of you who actually are looking for something to use outdoors. To get that good sound from it, you don’t have to blare the volume or turn it too far down, and the sound quality is superior to that of some larger speakers.There are a couple of other nice features I sincerely appreciate. First, I frankly find it obnoxious that when you turn on many speakers, or turn them back off again, for that matter, they play an annoying, little bit of music that is far too loud and impossible to disable. I’d rather have them simply beep, if that much, or do as this one does and give you the percent of battery power left. I like that this takes a USB-C cable–no more irritating, fragile micro USB for me. Its battery life is quite good, which helps me because I sometimes tend to forget to charge my things. Last but not least, this speaker is the only one I’ve had that beeps to acknowledge that it is charging when you plug it in. The sound is unobtrusive and quiet, which I prefer.Overall, you’ll find this to be a very wise buy. You can get cheaper units, certainly, but spend a bit for this, and you won’t regret it.

Likely the best sounding portable bluetooth speaker
I was looking for another bluetooth speaker to replace my Sony SRS XB21, one that had a much better battery and sound quality. I did a few hours of research into portable bluetooth speakers, looking for the best quality sound and base, as well as good battery, and I kept finding this speaker as my top choice, and since there was a deal on for it making it a bit more affordable, I decided to get one, and so far I am not disappointed.The USB C is something I come to expect to be on any good product, specially in 2023, so that makes me happier then the Sony one which has a Micro USB port. I was a bit worried when I realized the sound was coming from one side of the speaker before realizing the subwoofer takes up the other side, and it is a really good subwoofer for its size, producing some real nice base without sacrificing anything, specially at near max volume which for my Sony speaker, the base would disappear passed 80%, and sound would get distorted. The Silicon shell feels great around the speaker, with its metal grill, but does have a plastic rear grill for the subwoofer air exchange, but that is fine. The strap on the side I don’t have a great use for at the moment but with a carabiner, would easily hang from a backpack or belt loop.I currently have a rubber case on it from another brand (TXesign Silicone Case Cover) which provides a carrying handle, making it easier to move around and add some extra protection, even plugging up the Type C port to add some more protection, though it may not need a case, I recommend one regardless mainly because of that handle and potential extra protection. It does not impact its sound performance at all, which its sound performance is outstanding. I would say it is worth every penny even at full price.

Excellent Sound quality for a classy BT speaker.
My expectations were reasonably high being a Bose product but now that I’ve been using it for a while it certainly hasn’t let me down in any regard. The sound quality is very good and the lighter weight is deceptive but perfect for my intended travels. The all over rubber feel finish makes it grippy and the little hook will be handy for camping and hiking. Quick and easy to change and easily paired to my devices. The battery life span is really good and I was quite surprised at the punchy base to match the expected quality mids and highs so renowned in Bose speakers. At the great price I picked this one up for I now wish I had ordered two, to maybe utilise a stereo setup one day or simply to have a spare quality BT speaker for around the house. Highly recommend this item.

Les aigus sont limpides lè, basses bien présentes et puissantes, je suis franchement ravie et je recommanderais cette enceinte sans hésiter. D’ailleurs je pense acheter une deuxième prochainement pour les coupler!Rapport qualité prix très bon, petite et très pratique de pouvoir l’accrocher avec un mousqueton. Bref au top!

Sehr schnelle Lieferung!Schnell mit der Bose App verbunden.Haptik, Aussehen etc. alles sehr wertig. Reduziertes Design das langlebig ist und vor allem funktional!Schnelle Ladezeiten und lange Spieldauer.Zum Klang, das Kriterium Nummer eins….erstaunlich voller und vor allem angenehmer Klang. Keine überzogenen Höhen, die Bässe präsent und druckvoll, aber nicht übertrieben. Es macht Spaß und Freude damit auch länger Musik zu hören. Auch bei klassischer Musik, das ist sehr gut!Für so einen kleinen Lautsprecher erstaunlich.Dazu kommt die Robustheit. Ob am Strand, im Bad, im Nieselregen etc. ….das Ding läuft.Gibt es billigere Alternativen??? Reichlich! Will ich die alle testen? Persönlich nein. Die Bose erfüllt alle, wirklich alle meine Wünsche an so eine kleine Box, dazu sieht sie gut aus und überrascht immer wieder mit dem guten Klang.Empfehlung ausgesprochen!!!
