How do I get the User Manual/Quick User Guide?

Look through or download via “Product Guides and Documents” on this listing page, or scan the QR code attached to the QSG in the original package box.

How do I make the volume louder?

Confirm whether “Media Volume Sync” is enabled and activated on your Android phone. Check if the hearing protection is turned off on your iOS device.

Connect the earbuds to the soundcore app, and choose the Volume Booster EQ.

How do I turn on and connect the earbuds for the first time?

Peel off the protective film on the earbuds, place the earbuds in the charging case, close, and then reopen the lid.

Search for the earbuds’s Bluetooth name “soundcore V30i” on your phone.

How do I use the V30i earbuds touch controls?

By default, double-tapping the right earbud pauses/plays the audio. Double-tapping the left earbud skips to the next track. For other touch control definitions, please download the soundcore app to view and customize the touch controls.

What should I do if the earbuds won’t turn on?

Clean the earbuds and the charging pins inside the charging case. Place the earbuds in the charging case, close the lid, and charge for ten minutes.

    Sound

Only had for about a week but have worn on my morning 2+ hour walk. I might raise after I get more adept at the controls. Excellent price point for quality. Anker is an excellent manufacturer.

    Happy with purchase

I have been thinking about purchasing a new pair of earbuds and just did not want to spend a lot of money. I am glad that I tried these. They are easy to wear and don’t hurt my ears.

    Good sound great price

Good pair of over the air headphones at a great price, the app is a little hit and miss. Sometimes the change controls work. Sometimes it defaults back to the original but can’t beat the sound, especially at that price

    Clear sound

This is by far one of the best open ear headphones I have ever owned. I had to buy 2 one for the wife. She loves it, she walks dogs and still can hear cars and people! The voice and sound quality is perfect. I have no bad reviews. Soundcore by Anker you did good.

    These are great

They fut well and are comfortable. The sound quality is quite nice and I can still hear my surroundings and hold a conversation with no problems. I got them to wear at work where I need to be able to hear what’s happening and communicate with my coworkers. I am able to do this fine while still hearing the music well… My coworkers said that they could not hear my music even when I turned the volume all the way up. I wire them the entirety of my 12 hour shift only taking them off for my lunch break and they stayed powered up and comfortable the whole time. My only complaint is that it is way too easy to push the buttons. I have to actively try not to push them while putting on and adjusting the earphones. (Haven’t tried a voice call yet)

Great pair of open ear buds for the price!

I got these and have been using them all day. They aren’t to heavy but with prolonged use I feel a lil discomfort from the weight of them and pressure against my inner ears. The sound quality with the Soundcore app is actually amazing for a set of open ear wireless headphones. I’m using them with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 13. The actually sound very close to my Samsung Buds Pro. I have small ear canals and lows, highs, and mids actually sound great. As for making calls they actually work extremely well. I have had convos in nosey environments and quite ones and there were no complaints from the other parties. I could be heard very clearly and even in nosey environments they worked well. Will test for a few more days and update my review. All in all for 50 bucks I don’t think u can beat the quality and sound. My only draw back is that the case feels extremely flemsy and cheap in relation to the headphones quality.

    Comfort and quality

After trying multiple open ear headphones these are the winners for me. Plus they are the cheapest ones I tried. Go figure. Comfortable and good sound quality for my needs. Have used out on pedal bike rides and no problems with lack of volume.

Excellent Battery Life, Bass is Just Okay

Update (2/10/2024): I was able to squeeze some more base out of these today by a trick I recalled with the Life A2 NC when a pair of them had the same issue. Here is the process. So after connecting to the Soundcore app and updating the firmware, which I had done before my first review anyway, I reset the earbuds in the case today. There is a small button near the charging port. Hold that in until the light on the case turns red. Then reconnect the buds.Even with that though, and accounting that these are open-ear buds, the bass was just okay. It was certainly a noticeable improvement from before, but overall still muddy and not impressive. The depth of the soundstage is lacking. I listen to everything from hip hop to classical. It’s really noticeable in classical music. Everything feels up front. There is no spacing and depth in the audio. An orchestra ought to sound and feel grandiose. On these it just doesn’t.But as I said in my original review, the battery life is great, weight is very light, and they do vocals and everything above bass pretty well for the price. Yes the case is simple and can be slippery and fingerprint prone, but I don’t care about that much. They do what I need them to do at the price point I wanted.Original (2/6/24):Pros: Lightweight. Long battery life. Excellent clarity with voices on calls or music. No worries about losing eartips or having wax clog the speakers. Nice audible tones for touch actions.Cons: Not much in the way of bass. Flat and somewhay shallow sound profile. Use with Soundcore app helps this a bit, especially with the Volume Enhancer option, but still does not truly add much compared to in-ear buds.Review: I work from home in a call center. I chose these for their light weight and battery life. I don’t like being tethered to my desk by a wired headset, and wireless gaming headsets are bulky and expensive. They also don’t hold up well over time.I have some excellent Soundcore earbuds thar are of the in-ear variety (Life A2 NC) which do all things very well but just don’t have the battery life these do for use at work. So I’m often changing out pairs during a shift. Not good when you’re busy with calls. Plus, recently I was sick and my ears were kinda plugged from that, so I decided that my in-ear buds needed a break. I decided on these as a much cheaper alternative to the new Aerofit line Soundcore put out. Being able to hear my surroundings better with these isn’t necessarily a plus in a work context, but it’s actually a wash anyway as I have my own office at home. These are good earbuds for a commute, for listening to a podcast, or taking calls casually or for work as I do. They handle vocals, highs, and mids well. But bass is lacking and the sound profile is not very rich or deep. So I can’t recommend these for music much at all.I kind of expected that going in and, for my use case, it wasn’t a deal breaker. Plus these are relatively cheap open-ear buds so use your common sense and don’t buy the marketing hype. Good bass from small open-ear buds just isn’t going to happen – at least not without paying a lot more.Tip: Don’t jam these on your ears. They wear well but leave them just a tad loose at the front. It helps a lot, especially if you wear these for a while daily like I do.

    Not Bad at All

I was looking for some ear buds for my work meetings. I was considering the bone conduction type when I found these. Since they were just for work, I didn’t need anything with super bass or sound. To my surprise these sound really good. I occasionally use them to listen to audiobooks and they work well for music too. The sound piece sits just above my ear canal so they are comfortable enough for me to wear all day. I’ve often forgotten I’m wearing them. The only downside for me is that I have to use my device to control the volume, etc… I’m good with that since the are really just for work meetings.

    Soundcore! Why?

Looks like sound core designed these headsets referring to other brand making these kind of open out of the ear headset but my opinion they are an utter flop to the core from sound quality, fit and worth the price. These headsets comes with a very big case cannot be carried in the pockets aswell need to throw in a back back etc., materials used is not that high quality….so not sure how these headsets can be liked or used by people, only soundcore knows….horrible sound quality even a $10 earbuds sounds little better than these….never even think of these headsets to order. Mine soon goes back to Amazon Returns.

    Air Conduction & Adjustment

What is perfect regarding the V30i open ear air conduction headphones. It Is the non-intrusive design. The spactial sound arena experience. The quality of sound takes time to adjust to, especially oif you are accustomed to in ear headphones. For the purpose of ear health, please switch. Bone conduction and air conduction is the way. Again, I love them. For the purpose of ear health.

    Hate earbuds? Try these!

I have had a heck of a time finding headphones that I actually like. I have small ear canals and earbuds hurt my ears. These don’t go in the ear canal and I love that. The part that hooks over the ear is also fairly flexible (see photo #1) and really not that big in diameter so it doesn’t feel like it’s digging into my ear or pushing them out. I provided the second picture to provide some scale. The recharging case is in the background. The price is extremely reasonable and I can wear these for running safely because they don’t cancel all the noise around you.I really couldn’t be more pleased so far!

Great concept, just not for me

Tried these open ear design earbuds as I have yet to find a set of buds that stay seated in my ears during workouts. Everyone’s ear shape is different, which makes researching reviews difficult, so I gave these a try. Fit is good, but a bit bulky and uncomfortable for me after about 30-40 minutes. Sound is decent, but can’t compare to an in-ear bud with sealed rubber tip. Great alternative to the more expensive brands, as Soundcore is a solid company.

    Nice earbuds

Soundcore by Anker V30i Open-Ear HeadphonesThese are decent to very good ear buds, for the money. I compared them to May AirPods Pro and they’re definitely not as good. But the Pros cost four times more. It depends what you want and how they fit. These Soundcore’s fit pretty good so that’s good. They sound nice but bass could use a bit more. I like them for the money and recommend them for budget conscious listeners.

    Good for their intended purpose.

These Open-ear headphone are good for their intended purpose, but I wouldnt recommend them over Airpods or Powerbeats Pro. If you need to have full awareness around you, like on a run or on a job site, these are great. They are very stable and had no trouble ever thinking they were going to fall off. The sound is not the best because they are open-ear headphones so its like having a speaker close to your ear, but not inside it. I have some Powerbeats Pro as well and the sound is so much better if only for the reason that the music doesnt lose any fidelity on the way to your ear drum. A lot of the sound bleeds out into your surroundings with these head phones. These are probably great for certain people with specific situations they need to adjust for, but again, I wouldnt really recommend these over Airpods or anything similar, even if they are cheaper.

    Nice Open Ear Headphones

I have been looking for some open ear headphones for running. I like the open ear designs because it allows you to hear outside surrounds such as oncoming cars. If you prefer to only hear the music then you don’t want an open ear design headphones. The sounds quality is pretty good. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. According to the description they last about 12 hours. I took a star off because of the price. I have found similar headphones for a cheaper price.

I love Soundcore products but these need work.

I am a fan of Soundcore but these just fall short of wowing me. Open ear headphones in general leave a little bit to be desired (although they are better than bone conducting junk). These are tailored for people who are not worried about sound quality as opposed to being comfortable. These headphones sound okay not much else I can say on that matter. Comfort is where these shine. Super comfortable and can be worn all day. I get open ear……..you can hear your surroundings perfectly. Charged super fast via USB-C and battery life is sufficient. As with all Soundcore products the connection was flawless and very stable. Build quality and looks are phenomenal! I love Soundcore but these didn’t impress me.

    Works

The “user manual” that comes with it is a joke…The online one is a bit helpful but still lacks a lot of help.https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91kMykpMz2L.pdfThese are lightweight and fit nicely. Sound quality is pretty good.I haven’t tested the mic out so I’m not sure about that, honestly I didn’t even realize when I got them that they have a mic.I got these to use on my computer for when I’m streaming so I don’t have to use bulky headphones with a separate mic. From what I can tell you can only charge these in the case. While charging the indicator light will slowly flash until it is fully charged the light will go off completely. The entire earpiece is a button making it a bit difficult to adjust to put on your ears without hitting the button.Placing the ear piece back into the case and closing the case does disconnect them from the device. They are nice though the design could be a bit better and an actual user manual would be great because otherwise you’re just guessing more or less on what to do.

    A little issue

Update:Seller contacted me right after seeing the review and offered replacement. All good now!Original review:For some reason, the right piece is a little louder than the left one. Have had two other people in the house to try them and they can tell the issue right away.I bought them for watching TV in my bed while my baby is sleeping. They are lightweight and fit nicely, I have no problem wearing them for 8+ hours with my head on the pillow or bed board. Sound quality is pretty good also.

    Great earbuds.

Let me start with, “These are not for everyone.” but for the right people they are very really nice.TLDR: Very nice earbuds would choose this model again. absolutely 5 out of 5 stars! Now with a bit more detail let me quickly break down my pros and cons of this model.First these are an “open ear” design. They may not be for you, but if they are for you they’re very nice. Essentially this means they are not ear buds that “plug” down into your ear canal blocking out ambient noise. instead they rest on the surface which allows noises around you to still get in. This is nice if you need to keep awareness of what’s going on around you. In this respect they work very well. However, this also means that won’t deliver as solid of a base feel as other models might. This is a bummer if you really like that solid base feel. That being said I believe the range on these headphones is very nice. (Just don’t expect a base you can feel.)Straight out of the box I was initially disappointed with sound level being a bit low. However, after I downloaded the app to my phone there’s a setting for “loudness” that made the earbuds louder. Along with this loudness though I started hearing a little distortion. It wasn’t crazy, but it was there. Simple solution is don’t crank your music. A big reason you buy these is because you want to stay in tune with what’s going on around you. Cranking the music defeats this purpose.I like the over the ear design. I put these on and ran on my treadmill for around 45 minutes and never felt like they were coming loose.A small thing, but I really like the charging case for these. It’s a flatter design than most other charging cases I’ve had. It fits better in my back pocket than the thicker designs.I only wish I could I could crank these a bit with a heavier bass in setting when I’m in environments where I’m not concerned as much with my surroundings as much as just relaxing. But again, that’s not what these are designed for.Very happy to give these a 5 out of 5 stars!

Transparent sound, low sound leakage, super comfortable.

Reading other reviews, reviewers got a lot of things wrong about these. You DO NOT need to download the app to use them. You just open the case and connect to them with Bluetooth. That’s it. I had no issues connecting them. There is an app, and it’s a nice app. It even has a graphical equalizer feature. It also lets you customize what the various input methods do, like “one tap left”, “two taps left”, “hold right”, etc. By default some will be unassigned so I suggest you customize them. It also can communicate with your phone’s assistant and take calls. Call clarity is great. What I REALLY like about these though is how comfortable they are. I can’t stand traditional in-ear headphones. They irritate my ears and cause pain after a while. These don’t even go into your ears and I can wear them all day.I was afraid they’d cause a ton of sound leakage, but surprisingly they don’t. The leakage is comparable to closed-back headphones. At moderate listening volumes, someone 5 feet away won’t be able to hear them.Because they don’t go into your ears, they’re a lot more transparent sounding than most headphones. They have an open-back headphone quality to them, maybe even approaching electrostatic headphones.I’ve heard pretty much every fancy headphone on the planet and regularly attend headphone conventions so I know what I’m talking about when it comes to sound. And I can say without a doubt…These aren’t amazing. They’re not bad though. They actually have some bass, though they can’t quite do the lowest frequencies (like 30-40 Hz), but you’ll still hear most of it, even the low wubbing of dubstep. It’s just not particularly loud. But maybe that’s a good thing. It would definitely increase sound leakage. Female vocals are a little recessed. The highs are a little rolled off and peaky, but again, not bad. If I had to summarize the sound, I’d say they sound like $30 headphones. But I LOVE that they don’t go into my ears, don’t block sounds, and don’t leak much sound. The case, app, ease of use, touch controls are all great and I’ve had zero issues with them. These get my recommendation.

    Very comfortable, great range

PROS: more comfortable than in-ear type, these don’t give me a headache or earache like in-ear earbuds do; rich stereo sound; amazing range – with these paired to a device in my bedroom I can go to the kitchen or restroom (two walls away for either) with no signal interruption or reduction; surprisingly little sound leakage; easily paired to my Fire TV and Moto phone; ear loops are flexible and rubberized for comfort; decent battery life; good price for the quality levelCONS: these look a little goofy and are definitely visible, it’s like two little boom mics resting on your ears…but worth it for the sound quality and range

    I Wish They Worked Longer

I bought these headphones because I wanted an over the ear style, but not not the big ones. They worked at first, but now won’t connect. I tried and tried to get them to connect. I unpaired them and now they aren’t discoverable. I restarted them (they are fully charged) and even restarted my phone. Nothing.I have emailed Soundcore customer service with my issues and will ammend my review depending on any resolution offered.

    Uncomfortable. Low quality.

extremely uncomfortable. They are generically designed and create extremely painful pressure points on the ear if worn for an extended period of time. Open ear headphones are supposed to be made for extended wear time. But after just an hour, these are creating an extremely painful pressure point. This is also been confirmed by several other people I let borrow the headphones…….Very low quality.

On the Path to Perfecting Open-Ear Audio: A Step Forward with Room to Grow

As an enthusiast for open-ear headphones, I’ve been keenly observing the evolution of this technology. It’s truly impressive to see how far we’ve come, with options now being both attainable and enriched in quality compared to the pioneering days. The soundcore V30i models stand as a testament to this growth, offering an audio experience that is commendably clear and resonant, especially considering their price point. The venture into open-ear tech has been an exciting journey, and it’s heartening to see affordable options like these contributing to the industry’s expansion. However, my experience has revealed some areas poised for enhancement. The interface, particularly the touch controls, seems to lag behind in intuitiveness and reliability—a shortfall that hinders the overall usability of the device. Additionally, the lack of adjustable angles in the ear hooks, a feature that I’ve found greatly improves comfort and fit in other models (Tozo Open Buds), feels like a missed opportunity for innovation. These elements hold the potential to elevate the user experience from satisfactory to exceptional.Despite these critiques, the basal qualities, sound richness and ergonomic design, of the soundcore V30i do shine through. It’s clear that the makers have laid down a solid foundation rooted in comfort for all-day wear and engaging audio quality. However, acknowledging the iterative nature of technology, it’s crucial for continued advancements that feedback, like mine, is heeded. I look forward to seeing how upcoming generations will address these points of improvement, moving towards the ideal union of form, function, and user alignment in open-ear headphones.

Good battery life, good sound quality

I listen to audiobooks or podcasts every day while I walk my dog, so having a good pair of Bluetooth ear buds is a must. I’ve had other Anker products and generally respect the brand, so these were worth a try. What I like:-They stay put pretty well once on, even with a beanie or a hood or both-Clear calls and good music quality-Good battery life (I’ve been using them for a week about an hour or two a day and haven’t had to recharge the charging case yet)-They don’t cut out or stop playing as I chew or walk (this has been an issue with other Bluetooth ear buds I own)-They paired easily with my Android phoneWhat I don’t:-They are a bit fiddly to get set in the correct place on my ears – I invariably end up increasing or decreasing the volume or stopping play trying to get them seated properly.-They came with a thick book of paper which contained basically no directions other than a couple poor illustrations and a QR code. I really dislike having to go to a website using a QR code to find the user guide – they could have included more information in the booklet or included at least a brief users guide as a separate document.-They also try to get you to install an app and I already have more than enough apps on my phone. Unfortunately, some features are only available with the app.-Like most earbuds, it’s hard to remember which combination of taps on which ears activates the various functions (volume, stop/start, take call, hang up, etc).Bottom line, they seem like a good option for when I walk my dog but I wish they were a little easier to put on and that they came with a printed user guide and no app.

Feel a bit unstable but good sound quality

If you have not been used to this kind of earbud, it will take some getting used to. This unit sits on the outside of the ear and wraps around the top and back of the ear to keep it secure. It feels awkward and I have accidently knocked it off of my ear a few times. The sound quality is really good, however, and making calls are crisp and clear. I have not had anyone complain about not being able to hear me during calls and there is no feedback or tunnel sound on my end.The battery doesn’t seem to last all that long. I usually only wear one earbud at a time to get the most out of battery life and still be able to hear the world around me well too. They do charge very quickly and just pop into the case. Each earbud functions well without the other. There is not a lot of noise canceling happening with these. Probably because it sits outside the ear instead of inside the canal. As those kind usually hurt my ear with prolonged wear, this is a feature I am willing to forgo. This unit can feel a bit heavy with extended use. The wrapping arm is padded/soft but the unit itself is hard molded plastic. It could be more comfortable with a bit of cushioning or a silicone covering.Over all it is a really neat alternative to in-ear style earbuds.

They work for what I need them for!

I wanted to listen to music around the house without having a large pair of headphones, so these turned out to be perfect. They fit over my ears so I can still hear what’s going on around me, but the sound quality is really nice and I don’t feel like I’ve made a major downgrade for the convenience.

Set your expectations correctly and these are fantastic

This is the second pair of open ear headphones I have tried. The previous set did not seem to align with my ear correctly and I felt like I was listening to music from someone next to me instead of my own. These have a great fit and sound good. Note I said good and not great. From what I can tell, there isn’t any way to get excellent audio out of this type of headphone. It was really important to me to be able to hear my surroundings and these are perfect for that. This will round out my collection of headphones. I have a pair of soundcore noise cancelling over ear headphones that I use for flying. They are fabulous. Great sound and excellent noise cancelling. I also have a pair of in ear headphones for work calls that allow me to tune everything else out. These are perfect for exercising outside. The fit firmly and I don’t have to worry about them falling out/off. They allow me to listen to audio and also be aware of what is going on around me.In summary. If you are looking for excellent sound quality, probably look elsewhere. If you want good sound quality and the ability to be aware of your surroundings… These are the headphones for you. I also highly recommend installing the anker app on your phone as well since it did have some EQ functions that helped increase the sound quality.

Great battery life and sound quality!

I love the sound quality of these earbuds! I typically buy super cheap earbuds because I’m rough on everything, but I took a chance on spending more money for these. Glad I did! I wear earbuds every day and these do not leave any sores on or in my ears due to the open ear design. The battery life is great and lasts my whole work shift and then some – And the quick charging case is amazing!

Expected so much better from Anker Soundcore

I’ve been using Soundcore bluetooth speakers and other Anker products for many years and have been really happy with them, so naturally chose these when I needed a set of open-ear BT headphones. Ultimately though, I was surprised and disappointed with the quality of this set and don’t feel like it reflects Anker’s usual standards. At all. The touchpad control on these headphones, both left and right, is finnicky and inconsistent. Even though I’ve installed the app and updated the firmware (Galaxy s24 Ultra), trying to do a long-press on the bud control (both L & R) doesn’t register; only single-press and double-press controls work most consistently. Changing my earbud controls in the app is also frustrating since my changes don’t always stay how I put them and the app will occasionally set my choices back to a previous setting — but it doesn’t do that all the time, only sometimes so it’s annoyingly unpredictable. Changing the volume with the earbud controls only changes the bud’s internal volume and doesn’t change your phone’s volume; so for full range of volume control you need to do it from the phone’s volume buttons not the earbuds. As for the case: Oof. The charging case is really thin, bendy, poor quality plastic with no weight to it at all and just feels junky. The actual sound of the earbuds is fine (I use them mostly for audiobooks & podcasts), but the controls are soooo frustrating and these headphones just seem like much lower quality for the price than I’m used to from Anker. I’m honestly kind of salty about it.

Great product, great price, quality sound

I purchased these over the ear wireless earbuds for my wife and she loves them. Very quick charging and lasts 2 and a half days or more depending on how much you charge the case. My wife highly recommends these over the ear wireless earbuds.

Worked great for one week then no sound despite all troubleshooting

I have tinnitus and listen to audiobooks continuously to mask the ringing. I hate earbuds that fit in your ear as they never fit comfortably. I was excited to try these and for nearly a week I was ecstatic! These fit over my glasses, stayed on, and I could almost forget they were there. And the price was excellent! On the 6th day, for some reason I could not hear anything out of either headphone. My device showed them to be connected and my audio book was playing, but absolutely no sound from either headphone.I did all of the troubleshooting recommended by the help team which responded quickly to my request. That included making sure both devices were fully charged; unpairing and re-pairing; updating firmware; turning items on and off, checking the volume, cleaning under the screen, etc. None of those worked. They offered to work with me to get them fixed but by then I thought it was easier to just return them and get the next generation. I am very disappointed but maybe I just got a dud. If yours keep working, and you listen to audio books, you will be happy!

    Comfortable, secure, and sounds great

I was excited to try out my soundcore by Anker V30i Open-Ear Headphones. I was looking for something so that I could listen to podcasts and music without bothering my family. I had some that came with my phone, but they felt almost like they were attached to my ear by gravity, and I was afraid I’d lose them on a walk. What I liked best:Great soundOne tap on the ear piece and my music silences. They fit on the ear securely, and they don’t feel like they are going to fall out if I move quickly. What I liked the least:Only one thing – directions were basically non existent with the earphones, and to find them you have to follow a QR Code. There were some good directions for most of my questions, but I still don’t know how to change the volume on the earphones, if that exists. I am using the volume on my device so it’s ok.All in all, I love these earphones. I can’t blame the lack of directions on the company, as it could be operator error. I really like the Anker brand and all of their products that I have tried.

    Seamless and Unique

At first I didn’t have a very good opinion of buds that sit outside the ear but these have changed me. They sound just like normal buds but also allow you to hear outside noises which is a great added bonus. I imagine that these would be great for the workplace because it allows both music listening and the user to hear outside noise if they choose to. The case is long but slim and has no noticeable seams that would indicate poor quality. The case is a matte texture with a small button on the back which I imagine would be used to show the charge of the case. This uses a Type-C charger which is great because Type-C is becoming the universal charger. The actual intructions come in the form of a QR code which is interesting and you can easily customize the controls of each individual bud in the app(search Soundcore in the app store). Lastly, the case itself shines a white light when opened or when the button on the back is pressed to show the battery level. Moving on, the buds themselves fit around your ear rather smoothly and I can definitely say that I have absolutely no fear of the buds falling off my ears in situations where I’m moving a lot. Apparently, these buds have a 36 hour playtime which I’m unsure of because I haven’t tested that far yet, but I’m sure even if these buds don’t reach a full 36 hours they will reach somewhere close which is still quite good. These are VERY lightweight so you could easily forget about them being on your ears. Overall these are a 5-star item which I would recommend to everyone.

    Hold their own to airpods

Overall, these work great and I’m very happy with this product! I also own Apple Airpods so I could compare the two. These definitely hold their own with sound, clarity, and length of playtime. They setup and pair very easily and quickly with my phone (2nd generation SE iPhone). I’ve charged them once so far and have used them for 12+ hours and they have plenty of charge to go. These sit on top of your ear instead of inside, which is nice because they don’t get gross ear canal gook on them, and they are held in place with an over-the-ear “hook.” One of my issues with Airpods is that they don’t stay in well if there is bending involved and you’ve been sweating, i.e., working out, cleaning, etc. I do recommend downloading the app to unlock more features for sound quality, controls, and quite a few other features that I’m sure are beneficial. I did have a little trouble downloading and navigating the app, but I’m sure that can be chalked up to user error. I would absolutely recommend getting the V30i from Soundcore, especially at this price point.

    Great Anker value

I know Anker from making great quality aftermarket batteries and chargers, so I was curious to see what they would do with a set of headphones. In a word, they did Great! Incoming and outgoing audio quality is excellent given the limitations of this form factor, and easily equal to or better the the quality of higher priced headphones I’ve owned. I have big ears but these still fit comfortably and securely, and I can even wear glasses at the same time! I love how they don’t stay in place by being jammed in my ear. I never felt the in-ear earbuds held securely enough to trust them while out walking the dogs or jogging, but with these I don’t have that fear and they’ve opened up a new world of podcasts and audiobooks I am now able to access without fear of losing my headphones. At $50 these are a steal. Even $70 would be a good deal given the level of function and quality. I’m sooooo glad I have these.

    Great for the office

I picked these up to wear while walking around the office. I wanted something that is comfortable to wear, won’t fall from my ear, and allows me to listen to my podcasts and music all while being fully aware of my surroundings. They are a little odd to put on at first, but at the same time they are very comfortable and you easily forget they are there.I feel like I have odd shaped ear canals. I always have trouble comfortably wearing “in the ear” earbuds. They either hurt or they easily fall out. These solve that very problem. The audio quality is what you’d expect for the price point. These are certainly not audiophile quality, but the quality is just fine if you don’t have those expectations. If this style fits your need you can’t go wrong.

Not noise cancelling – perfect for walking/running

This is my first open-ear headphone with a wrap-around ear piece. It’s more comfortable than it looks! The around-ear piece is lightweight and after a few minutes I forgot I was wearing them. In the beginning, it felt “loose” like they might slip off, but they never moved or slipped during a mile walk around the neighborhood. Usually when I walk or ride a bicycle, I only put one side in so I can hear around me – especially car or foot traffic approaching. With these, I can wear both and comfortably be audibly aware of my surroundings. I can’t speak in depth about the sound quality, except to say I listed to both a podcast and music without any complaints concerning sound volume or quality. I like that I can wear them around the house while doing chores and not worry about ear fatigue or not hearing one of the kids calling for me (no matter where I’m hiding out.)I think it’s necessary to say these are NOT “noise cancelling” headphones. These are open-ear; they sit just on the outside of your ear, not stuck inside.

Super Comfortable, Quality Perfromance, Highly Recommend!

The media could not be loaded.

These Anker V30i Open-Ear Headphones are super comfortable compared to my Apple AirPods! I love that there is nothing sitting inside my ear canal – no itchy or tickely feeling – plus these stay in place! I can shake my head, work out, or dance around and they do not move, slip, or fall out of my ears! The piece that rests over the ear to hold the speaker is place is a soft rubber and easily conforms to the shape of my ears, providing a fit that is just tight enough while barely being noticeable. The sound quality provided is very good for this price point and volume and song advancement is similar to AirPods; you just tap on the speaker (complete instructions are available by scanning the provided QR code). The blue tooth connection keeps working even when I am on a different floor of my house with no dropped tunes and the battery charge lasts for hours. I also appreciate the sleek charging/storage case that has magnets to hold the ear pieces in place, provided USB-C to USB-A charging cord, and the ease of blue tooth connection with my iPhone. While I have only used these a few days, I already prefer them to my AirPods based on their overall design and comfort! This is another great Anker product that I highly recommend!

    Incredible value

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I love these headphones. They work great with my samsung phone and the sound quality is perfect for what i use them for — listening to podcasts and audiobooks during chores. The voices are clear and crisp and I can still hear if somebody is knocking on my door, or if my roommate asks me a question. I wish you could pause the audio by touching the buds, but at this price range that seems like such a quibble. For music, its fine. Not perfect, the bass can get lost, but for what I use it for it’s amazing.

    Another Soundcore Success Story!!

First, these wear so lightly, I honestly forget if I have them on or not. Now, is the sound quality as strong as an in the ear canal earbud? No, it’s not, but it IS quality sound, much more than I would have expected. I believe these are truly a homerun success for Soundcore! They have couples quality sound, with serious comfort to create my new favorite ear pieces!I HIGHLY Recommend!!!
