FE wound up being more comfortable than I expected coming from “bean” Live design
I had a pair of the Galaxy Live earbuds that lasted almost three years. The battery started lasting 2.5 hours and while I plan on replacing the batteries, that was going to cost maybe $30 (before shipping) for the two earbud batteries and the holder battery. Or I could’ve bought the actual Galaxy Live earbuds for, I think, $69. I decided to look at what the newest tech out of Samsung was for their Galaxy line and was trying to choose between these and the Pro 2s which I think was maybe $100 versus $120. Plus these earbuds had the $10 Amazon card, so I decided on these with the hopes that the downsides people talk about online wouldn’t apply so much to my usage.I like the earbuds Lives because they are easier to fall asleep in. However, the Galaxy FEs aren’t so bad because I tend to only sleep with one earbud in (using music or podcasts to fall asleep to)– I sleep on my back or one side and then halfway through the night I roll over and put it in it’s charging case.I was iffy on what I would think of the speaker going in the earhole versus resting just outside it. I have to say, especially driving an older vehicle that allows a lot of road noise in, that the inner ear part seals the ear a lot more. Even with the earbuds not running anything, my commute is quieter which is nice.I suffer from a lot of tinnitus and hearing loss. While it is hard to hear stuff in my environment anyway, having earbuds helps out– makes the tinnitus drive me crazy less, and makes me feel less isolated because I can at least connect to music or people’s voices in podcasts a lot better than I can if those sounds are out in my immediate environment. This is a huge quality of life improvement for me.My Galaxy Live earbuds were already huge for me as a tech I used daily. While I still may replace the batteries on my old ones just as backup, I don’t regret upgrading to the new style.I do wish they had better color choices though. I miss the shiny red option the Galaxy Live had.Another thing is that the earbuds have magnets so I can open my carrying case, flip the case upside down and not have them fall out. I’ve lost cheaper earbuds before from having the carrying case loose in a bag and the case opened and the earbuds fell out. While the Galaxy FE might do the same thing at least I feel like there would be some token resistance from the magnets in the carrying case, and in the earbuds.

They’re Just Fantastic.
I got these during the Black Friday sale for $69, which was an absolute steal. However, the $99 base price is also an extremely good deal. I have a large amount of earbuds as I’m an audio nut, so I can give a good account as to how these perform. For the price, they’re near unbeatable. Active noise cancelling, instant pairing, and ambient mode at this price point is unheard of given the quality of each feature. Compared to the airpods pro series, the ANC on these earbuds beats the Gen 1 Airpods Pro, but not the Gen 2. Same goes for ambient mode. The case feels of impeccable quality, and holds a longer charge than my Airpods. When comparing it this way, $99 vs $249 is a no brainier. These win without an effort. The Airpods Pro are not $150 better than these. Not even close. The biggest thing for me though was that I love the old galaxy buds and buds plus’ fit. The fit of the new galaxy buds series never worked for me well at all. The round shape and weak seal made me turn my nose up at a lot of the modern Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds Pro line. These fit like the original galaxy buds did, and that’s exactly why I bought them. I love it. They fit snugly, they don’t fall out, and they don’t make the ears itch. Perfect.Sound is pretty good, though the highs are slightly blown out and can create a hissing sound if in the right scenario, which is unfortunate, but the sound is far from terrible. It’s warm, deep, and full of life and detail. I have yet to find true wireless earbuds with all these features for this price, especially ones that still maintain sound quality this good.Overall, these are a fantastic deal. I highly recommend them.

Not Great Sounding
Comfort?Awesome.Battery?Great.Build quality?Solid.Sound?Man oh man, did they do these dirty. These things sound like bass cannons with a huge dip in the mids and then an emphasized treble region. VERY V shaped sounding. I tried switching the eq around in the Samsung gear app; it didn’t do much at all. It’ll change the sound, but I couldn’t get anything that sounded balanced. It’s either all bass and treble, all bass and no treble, or all treble and no bass. It’s heartbreaking because I’ve been wanting earbuds in the shape of the buds + for a while now. My cat knocked my buds plus into the toilet a couple years ago and that was it for them. For now, I’m sticking to my buds live, which sound way better than they have any right too. I prefer them over my airpods pro 2. More bass but just as present mids with slightly toned down treble.Of course it’s subjective especially with the lives because their fit varies greatly from person to person, but yeah that’s just my two cents.Edit: I’ve continued using these as they’re just really conveniently sized and shaped. They also have very good control receptiveness, so I don’t have to press over and over again for the touch sensitivity to work. I’m going to be keeping these even though I don’t think they sound very good because they fit flawlessly and comfortably in my ear and ultimately do what I need them to do.

Not overly impressed
I’ve only had these a day but there are not many reviews so I’ll give my 1st impressions. I wore them for a few hours doing yard work (using my Samsung S22) and tried them with some of my favorite test tracks connected to my PC and using Amazon HD music (using Exclusive mode)The first thing that surprised me was the white case… I ordered black, and at first thought they sent the wrong ones but opened the case and the buds themselves were black. I don’t like white, but whatever.Looking at the case there is not much indication of what is the front and it’s a bit fiddly to open. The magnet to suck the buds into place is not very strong, so a bit fiddly to lay them in the case.I don’t like wearing buds much, but these were pretty comfortable right out of the box. The insertion was not quite as deep as I like but they stayed in well while I was moving around and I did not feel the need to keep adjusting them. How do they sound:I want to emphasize these are first impressions. These have a polite sound that would probably please many people. I’m not one of them. When I got the Lypertek buds for the same price I told people “I can’t believe how good a sound you can get for $100 these days”. With these, I would say “They are ok, most people would like them”.They are “fine” for having something playing in your ear while you do something else but they did not bring out any joy in the music for me. Nothing stood out about the sound. Ordinary comes to mind or, nothing wrong but nothing right. I’m not into ‘soundstage’ the the lack of one while listening to live tracks actually stood out to me.The sound is a bit congested, the instruments kind of bunched into each other. There is no ‘air’ around the instruments. I found myself pushing the volume louder than I normally listen to “wake them up a bit”.Detail retrieval is decent, but you are not going to notice the reverb, the grind of a distorted guitar, the ‘ting’ of the drumsticks on a cymbal, breath sounds, etc. The overall presentation is smooth enough from low to high, with no glaring holes, or peaks. If I had to fault the frequency response it would be male voices. Just a bit in your face at times. Bass get a bit tubby if you try to push it much. In “normal” mode I found it just about right.Let’s see what I can ‘fix’ with EQ. The EQ in the App has 9 bands, cool! But that hardly matters if there is no custom EQ option. Seriously Samsung? The Sennheiser App only has 3 bands but at least they let you set a custom EQ, name it, and save it.There are 7 presets, but none of them really gave me something I liked. But there is enough variety that most people would find something they like.I’m mixed on keeping them. The sound is good enough for what I want them for. listening to music while I do something else. They are comfortable and stay in well, but I am not impressed with the sound. It’s “fine”, it’s “okay”, and “good enough” but not impressed with the sound for the $100 price point.

Overall great for the price point
I’ll preface by saying I’m comparing these to the buds 2 pro. I focus on what’s important…the audio. Comfort is subjective and that’s for another day. The lows and base are very goid. I’d even say the base is deeper and has more punch then the pros. The highs and the mids ,while very good, aren’t on par with the pros. Overall sound stage gets a 7.5 if pros are a 10 but again they sound great if you have never heard the peos. For 99 dollars these are a steal. Battery life is great and anc is on par with the pros. There are a few things missing that disappoint me. There is no ear tap to adjust the volume which I’m sure was a way to xut cost. This is where a huge priblem comes in that samsung may want to address. THE VOLUME. To the uniniated the volume on these are horribly low. That’s because the volume rocker on your phone isn’t synched with the actual volme on the earbuds. So you turn your buds all the way up with your phone and are underwhelmed. You have to set the double tap feature in the wearable app to volume up and down. Only then can you crsnk the volume up and be pleasently surprised. This alone is going to cause a lot of skewed negative reviews.Overall they are great. The cons are the lack of ear tap for volume and highs not being as crisp. I’d recommend these before the buds2 pro for the price point even though the pros sound several levels better in overall soundstage then the bds fe.

No wireless charging of case!!
I love the earbuds, I prefer having a flat control surface. better than the other styles as far as I’m concerned. What I don’t like is the lack of wireless charging for the case. I bought the SAMSUNG 15W Wireless Charger Duo so I could have both my phone and headphones charging overnight wirelessly. I was incredibly annoyed when I realized this particular model out of all of them is not wirelessly charged, I had thought all of them were. Also the white case is annoying, I thought I had gotten the wrong colored earbuds before I opened it. apparently white case with black earbuds is a thing.

Best fit ever!
I’ve purchased many earbuds over the years especially from Samsung but this fit is by far the most perfect. They stay in your ears! Surprisingly alot of earbuds don’t do at least ones with decent battery life and good connections to your phone! The noise cancel is really good as usual even the ambient noise. I feel immersed in all my music and videos. Did I mention really appreciate the fit its amazing I love the fit also the battery the design even the charger are spectacular! I definitely recommend these earbuds to everyone! I know this sounds like and ad but I love these earbuds. Sorry for this long review but I swear try them out!

Finally another good ear bud from Samsung
After the buds+ went away, there has been several versions without the wingtips and for me, non of them fit. These FE buds are a welcome throw back to a product I enjoy using. They are not as good as the Pro versions in call quality or clarity, but it’s not off by much. I’m pleased with my experience after the last few weeks and would recommend them for everyday use. They only come with the one size wingtips though, so if you needed to adjust the size with the buds+ then these may not have a size option for your ears.

Sounds great. Don’t stay in my ear.
These sound incredible. Plenty of low end super clear highs. Connecting is very easy, at least with my sanding phone. The problem is they do not stay in my ear well. I could run a marathon in my Samsung IconX. I can’t even walk up the steps without these starting to move.

They’re very good for the price.
These are very good for the price. I’ve had several pairs of earbuds including the old galaxy buds plus, Sony XM4s, and Buds 2 pro. I bought this to use exclusively at the gym becauseI loved my buds for workouts but I lost them on my last trip. I have to say they brought back a lot of the things I liked about the previous Buds Plus and the upgrades are quite nice. The ANC is actually quite good for a $100 earbud. The passive noise canceling is a lot better on these buds compared to the buds 2 pro which means the active canceling doesn’t need to do quite as much. The pass through quality is a bit “meh” but it was meh on the original buds plus anyways.Audio quality is still fairly good. They’re not premium earbuds so I don’t expect them to compete there.Overall if you compare them to other buds in the same price range they do a solid job.

Solid Meh…
Underwhelming sound. Weak lows, ok mids. Volume is heavily limited through software/app (?) ANC is decent but overall sound is put to shame by my Sony buds and previous galaxy buds models. Speak to mute function only works if you have wifi, bluetooth AND Samsung app all connected/synced but I’ve been unable to activate so far. Ear “blades” work surprisingly well and fit is much improved over my Samsung Buds 2 Pro . No wireless charging for case is just sad. I know these are the FE (budget) edition but several features such as wireless charging and speak to mute should still be included @ a $99 price point. I’d still rather pay $200 and have a solid set of performing ear buds. Hopefully Buds 3 Pro can utilize some of the useful features from the FE addition.Update: my kids thought they were too quiet even being paired with Galaxy s23, flip 5. Returned them. Waste of money. Maybe a software update can save these buds but the price point would have to be $60 for the basic features they provide. Wanted to like these…

DO NOT BUY
Firstly I do not know why Samsung has stopped making earbuds in black. These are an ugly grey. AllOf their buds seem to come in this graphite that is just ugly!Straight out of the WHITE (why) charging case they paired with my phone but not with my iPad.Second in order to use customize the controls I had to pair them with my Samsung buds app which I already had because I have the earbuds galaxy plus. However when it says add a device nothing happened.I called support and that was the same as speaking with a wall! The agent had no clue how to solve the problem, her only suggestion was to return them.I tried for 2 hrs to pair them to the app NOTHING.Besides the wings there is nothing good about these buds. The more expensive ones have no wings and from past experience do not sit comfortably in my ears. The Samsung galaxy which I bought in 2020 have now died a natural death. Their battery life span is very poor, with minimal use they have not even lasted 3 years.Although they were very good with the best play back time. They have been discontinued but still available on Amazon for a whopping $171.00 WHY?Look else where!I will be returning these.UPDATE YOU CANNOT PAIR THESE WITH AN IPHONE AS THE SAMSUNG WEARABLE APP IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE APPLE STORE. THEY ARE NOT COMPATABLE WITH APPLE PRODUCTS.

Basic Earbuds But BEWARE
These actually fit better in my ears than my Galaxy Buds Plus. Sound quality is as expected for the price. Music sounds good enough. Of course you won’t get amazing sound quality with $100 ear buds so I’m not sure why people complain. Get over the ear headphones if you want amazing sound quality. I had no problem with phone calls. Nobody complained. Now here comes the disclaimer: The tips are made of rubber and the do itch if you’re allergic. I had to buy new tips. I used the ones from my Galaxy Buds Plus in the meantime and my ears stopped itching. I don’t know why Samsung continues to use rubber in their ear tips when people have been complaining for years. Silicone was perfectly fine. Overall, these are just some good basic earbuds for basic use which is what I needed. Just an upgrade from the Galaxy Buds Plus.

Only review you need
I just got done using these buds at the gym for the first time and I’m VERY impressed. I’ve used just about every bud Samsung has dropped and these are fantastic. They have a lower rating on Amazon because someone was complaining about the color. Really? The color? And the app. Come on people. These legitimately could be called…… Samsung Galaxy buds2 pro “+”.First off, sometimes it’s all about the fit and these for my ears amazingly. The wing tips fit well. They feel similar to buds+.As far as sound; the sound, the anc and the bass are AS GOOD if not better than the buds2 pro. I’m not kidding. They definitely have more bass.Someone was complaining about the button set up and app…. Listen, if you’ve used Samsung buds before, you’re good. They’re no differently set up than their other buds. In fact, the flat spot on the buds make it easier to tap and get what you want the first time. On the buds2 pro it’s sometimes hit or miss because there’s no definitive spot for touch controls, at least not visually.Overall, these are GREAT buds for 100 bucks. If you find them on sale, grab them. Samsungs website has a deal where they will knock off 25 bucks if you send them ANY ear buds or head phones. I sent them back and old wired pair of ear buds. Cheap things that cost like 3 dollars. So for 75 dollars you get great ANC, BASS and FIT. I’ll be getting another pair for sure.

Soooo Comfy
First off don’t buy these at full price. Samsung almost always runs deals. Second they sound meh if you don’t download the app and set it to dynamic. The real win with these headphones is comfort. I have large ears and the buds pro and 2 pro would fall out during activities. Not these. The touch controls design is nice and simple as well. These aren’t my chilling at home listening to music headphones but they are great for activities and when you are out and about.

Very Disappointed
First I must say I do not like paying a lot of money on earbuds. I have somewhat weird ears, so they constantly fall out. I ride the Subway back and forth in NYC everyday so God forbid they fall on the tracks or through a grate on the sidewalk. I hate hooks, and I’ve never bought a pair of earbuds for more than 80 bucks and never Galaxy buds. I own a Galaxy phone, so I bought these. Why not right? I put them in my ear and I said yesss! They fit snug, they don’t fall out. I play some music… These are awful! My last pair of earbuds,1MORE ComfoBuds Pro, sound way better. I do not recommend folks! The volume is low, the Wearable app took a few times to successfully pair and the sound quality is nothing to write home about. The bass is ok, but who cares if you can hardly hear it. I have more to say, but I digress. The reason for 2 stars is due to how comfortable they feel in my ear. The ANC isn’t bad as well. Do some research, there are plenty of quality products out there that sound better and cost less. I might just throw down the extra cash and buy Dr. Dre’s Fit Pro.

Developed issues after three days of use.
Got these to replace my very old galaxy buds+Thebsound is balanced, the controls and integration is great, and the wingtips are the best feature from any earbuds everHowever, call quality is abysmal. People on the other end cannot hear you at all or complain you soubd far Way. Also, after three days of use ANC stopped working correctly with the left earbud making crunching and hissing sounds when enabled. The left earbud is also now quieter then the right one.I’d used these things less than three hours total before they did this. Don’t waste your money.EDIT:Decided to test further. Got a s second pair. Left ears noise cancelling failed after exact same amount of time. Tried cleaning them, resetting them, nothing helps. Got a THIRD set, this time I wore them in opposite ears to eliminate the potential of me being the problem. ANC in the LEFT EARBUD IN MY RIGHT EAR went out after the same amount of time. (Same earbud as on the other two pairs, despite being worn in the opposite ear) Something seems to be wrong with the whole line, so unless / until they fix it, avoid like the plague.FURTHER EDIT:Kept the third pair to be used without noise cancelling since it doesn’t work.Just today the earbuds started randomly disconnecting, mostly the left one, makes a horrendous hissing and electronic noise each time. These earbuds truly are terrible.

Pleasantly surprised!
Love these headphones!I only liked the buds plus due to the comfort. I hope in the future samsung keeps this design. The battery life is quite a bit better than my buds+ and my buds live.Worth every penny!!The only con is the lack of wireless charging…..but I can live without that feature.

Such an improvement!
I’m coming from using the Samsung Live Buds, so I’m comparing these 2.If you have the live buds, you’ll know the biggest thing is how awful the noise canceling is. It’s pretty much doesn’t exist lol. I hated that. The FE buds have awesome noice cancelling, such a vast improvement! As soon as I turned on the feature, all the sound around me blurred out so much, I was surprised. My train rides to work are alot quieter (if you live in NYC, you can relate). The style is cute, I’m not doing cartwheels over it lol. I like that it’s easier to grip, as the Live Buds were a smoother texture and sometimes would slip from my fingers. You could imagine my paranoia.Battery life seems almost the same and all the controls you need are the same; you can change settings accordingly.Touch pads on the earbuds respond a lot better and are more sensitive. I’m not constantly tapping 2 or 3 times to change a song or pause.I’m overall happy with my purchase!

Best value for any Samsung fan
Big Samsung fan here. I use a Galaxy Fold 4Z and S7+ Tablet. These buds switch seamlessly between them! I’ve read a few reviews on Reddit etc, and all I can say is READ the instructions, folks! With the Galaxy Wearable app, you can customize each Bud for DIFFERENT purposes. Toggle ANC on and active pass-through with left bud, and Volume up and down with the right bud. ANC works great, btw! You can also adjust the tone and volume of active pass-through!!! Big deal, imo. Overall volume is strong. I create videos for my business and work by a busy highway. Active noise reduction on recordings pretty good, and BEST when using both buds together. I’m going from Earfun Truly wireless buds which rank among the best on rtings analysis in Recording and noise suppression. Not “quite” as good as those, but the comfort and stable fit of these, along with the fantastic seamless transition between Samsung devices, full sound from highs to lows, customizable noise pass through, software adjustments, and Android pull down screen integration make these a strong buy! Wish I had these years ago.

Samsung Galaxy buds FE are great!
I purchased these on Prime Day to replace my Soundcore buds, and I have to say Samsung has done a great job with these FE buds! They sound great for $99 buds. I’m not an audiophile, but for my needs it sounds great for streaming music and media off my phone.Wing tips. So happy they included this feature. Fits great in my ears and they stay in! And the package comes with another set of wing tips; if the installed ones don’t fit, swap it out for the other.I’m really impressed with connectivity, a steady and quick connection to my phone and tablet. I can move between rooms and not have my phone on me, and the stream is uninterrupted. Clear sound when I’m on the phone, no negative feedback so far on call quality.ANC is good, especially for the price! I think Samsung did very well in this feature. I have yet to try this in noisy or crowded space like a train or a bus.Overall, I’m really enjoying my experience with Samsung buds FE! I’m a Pixel fan, and these buds are superior to the Pixel Buds.

Getting Rid of my Galaxy Buds 2 for this 👍
Galaxy Buds FE brings back the wing tip design that I really love with the first Galaxy Buds with the features of the Galaxy Buds 2 minus the wireless charging still a plus to me. But it does suck no wireless charging, however still worth the sacrifice to cut cost.

Very Comfortable
There are great headphones. Sound great and are very comfortable. The most comfortable I’ve ever had. I can wear them all day.I used to use the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 Pro and while the sound was great, they were awfully uncomfortable. The sound of the Galaxy Buds FE are just as good as the Soundcore to but, but I am no audiophile. Adjusting the equalizer helps a lot.

FINALLY Samsung buds that fit SMALL ears and WONT fall out!
After trying a dozen pairs of in-ear earbuds, I finally found a pair that fits small ears, is comfortable for all day at work, and WONT FALL OUT! The Skullcandy Indy Evo & Soundcore/Anker Life P2 came close but were uncomfortable after an hour. Even the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 kept falling out just while sitting still so I couldn’t chance going outside in them, but these new Galaxy Buds FE fit SO securely!

Great earbuds! Like the distinct touchpad area on each bud. You can program functions based on the number of taps through Galaxy app. Noise cancellation is awesome. Love the fact that I have the option to hear ambient surroundings. I used these when I ran Half-Marathon in Indianapolis.

Galaxy Buds FE
The sound quality is great. They fit well in my ears and they don’t fall off thanks to the wing tips.
