Destroys carpets
The robot works quite well when it comes to the cleaning efficiency, however, you must ensure your floor is clear of cables and other obstacles – during the one month of use it almost destroyed one of my Philips Hue light systems, and pushed over a standing mirror. If you own any carpets, the robot will completely destroy the edges during its primitive carpet mapping where it has to rub itself against all the edges of the carpet, every time it cleans…Another issue is the robot does not work well with any of the smart home systems (Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home).Also one of gummy parts of the robot next to the main brush just casually came off and its impossible to reattach it.Mopping is pretty useless.

El Software tiene algunas opciones que no tiene la S6 como mapas en 3d. Respecto al hardware hace mejor trabajo de mapeo y trapeado. Es posible que en aspirado quede igual que la S6.

Desearía poder devolverla
El aspirado es muy bueno si no tienes mascotas, pero con mascotas que tiran mucho pelo hay que quitarlo de las ruedas y de los cepillos casi diario. Al final es igual de tedioso que barrer yo.En terminos del trapeado, nunca me ha funcionado bien. Siempre deja líneas en el piso a pesar de seguir las instrucciones de mojar el aditamento y lavarlo después de cada uso.Además, es muy ruidosa. Tiene modo silencioso, pero en mi experiencia no aspira bien usándolo.Me arrepiento de no haberla devuelto cuando aun podía.

Deutliche Arbeitserleichterung im Haushalt – wir sind zufrieden
Mein Fazit zuerst: wer einen Staubsaugerroboter sucht, der auch gut wischen kann und zudem Auslegware ziemlich gut saugt, kommt vermutlich am Roborock S8 (oder wahrscheinlich auch S7) nicht vorbei. Ich kann ihn empfehlen und würde ihn auch wieder kaufen. Er nimmt uns viel Arbeit ab und die Ergebnisse sind immer gut bis sehr gut.Ich habe im Vorfeld verschiedene Tests und Vergleiche studiert. Auch konnte ich in den letzten Jahren bereits Erfahrungen mit einem anderen preisgünstigen Modell sammeln. Während jede Marke irgendeine Schwäche aufweist, scheint der Roborock tatsächlich keine nennenswerte zu haben (so lange es Ersatzteile zu kaufen gibt).Das Gerät reinigt ordentlich und arbeitet sehr strukturiert. Es wird kein cm ausgelassen. Für unsere Hartböden (Fliesen, Laminat) reicht die normale Saugstufe bereits aus (es gibt 4 Stufen). Auf der Auslegware verwende ich meist die max. Stufe bzw. schaltet das Gerät ohnehin automatisch auf eine höhere Stufe, wenn es Auslegware/Teppich erkennt. Die Saugleistung ist für einen Roboter hervorragend (aber logischerweise kein Vergleich zu einem Bodenstaubsauger). Der Staubbehälter ist vielleicht etwas klein, was uns aber nicht stört. Gut finde ich, dass sich der Staubfilter auswaschen lässt. Die App erinnert auch daran.Die Wischfunktion kann in verschiedenen Stufen eingestellt werden: von wenig Wasser und normaler Intensität (nutze ich auf Laminat) bis mehr Wasser und intensiver Reinigung (hier wischt er in engeren Bahnen) und bis zu 2 Zyklen (da wischt er kreuz und quer – nehmen wir gerne im Bad oder im Flur). Mit der intensiven Reinigung schafft er es auch tatsächlich, Wasserflecken und Zahnpasta wegzuwischen. Der Wassertank reicht für mehrere Wischzyklen und ist ausreichend dimensioniert. Wir nutzen ein Bodenreinigerkonzentrat für Saug-/Wischroboter und sind mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Der Boden glänzt und man spürt beim Drüberlaufen, wie absolut sauber er ist. Der Wischmopp wird nach erledigter Arbeit einfach entfernt, ausgespült und getrocknet.Die Navigation ist vorbildlich. Wir haben 3 Etagen zu reinigen und jeder Raum lässt sich einzeln zur Reinigung anwählen. Auch kann für jeden Raum festgelegt werden, ob er Saugen+Wischen in einem Arbeitsgang, oder nur Saugen oder nur Wischen und in welchen jeweiligen Stufen und Intensitäten gereinigt werden soll. In die anderen Etagen, wo die Ladestation nicht steht, lässt er sich tragen und z. B. in den Vorraum setzen. Dann wählt man den gewünschten Raum über die App und er findet von allein den Raum. Er kann auch gleich in den gewünschten Raum gesetzt und gestartet werden. Dann dreht er sich, erkennt den Raum automatisch und fängt an mit der Reinigung. In der App kann man zeitgleich genau beobachten, wo er sich gerade befindet. Sobald er fertig ist, kehrt er wieder an die Ausgangsposition zurück.Die Akkuleistung reicht locker für 1x durch’s ganze Haus, ohne dass er zwischendurch aufgeladen werden muss. Der Hersteller empfiehlt, das Gerät ständig an der Ladestation zu lassen. Das ist zwar bequem und verhindert eine Tiefenentladung, aber es verkürzt auch die Akkulebensdauer. Und der Akku ist leider nur durch den Hersteller austauschbar (womit dann auch nach 2-3 J. gerechnet werden müsste, wenn er täglich vollgeladen wird). Wir laden ihn also etwa bis 80%, nehmen ihn dann von der Ladestation und schalten ihn aus (Achtung: wird er nicht ausgeschaltet, verliert er schnell an Kapazität). Sobald während der Reinigung der Akkustand niedrig ist, hört das Gerät auf mit der Reinigung und die App gibt eine Meldung.Was den einen oder anderen stören könnte, der sich von den Werbebildern leiten lässt, ist die Lautstärke. Es ist nun mal ein leistungsstarkes Gerät und es nervt einfach, wenn man sich im selben Raum aufhält. Mit dem Handy (1m über dem arbeitenden Gerät) habe ich 46 dB beim Wischen (ohne Saugen) und 60 dB bei max. Saugstufe gemessen, was deutlich über Zimmerlautstärke liegt.Wir haben uns gegen die Reinigungsstation entschieden und vermissen diese bislang auch nicht. Ausschlaggebend war der deutliche Mehrpreis und der große Kasten. Die Staubbox mal schnell zu entleeren, ist kein Ding. Genauso stört uns nicht, den Wassertank mal aller paar Tage nachzufüllen. OK, den Wischmopp zuerst anfeuchten und dann draufziehen und dann nach dem Wischen wieder abmachen, auswaschen und trocknen ist ein klein wenig Arbeit. Eine Erleichterung ist es insgesamt gesehen aber trotzdem.Ein paar Kritikpunkte fallen mir noch ein:- In der App lassen sich wischfreie Zonen bestimmen (z. B. Teppich); allerdings werden diese dann in der Saug+Wisch-Funktion nicht angefahren. Nutzt man diese Zonen und will diese dennoch saugen, muss Saugen und Wischen in zwei Arbeitsgängen erfolgen. Ich habe die Zonen wieder gelöscht und vertraue der Teppichfunktion, bei der der Wischmopp automatisch angehoben wird- Das Einzeichnen von Möbeln in die Karte ergibt für mich keinen Mehrwert und die Auswahl an Möbeln ist auch stark begrenzt; da hier auch Futternäpfe u. Tierklos ausgewählt werden können, scheint diese Funktion wohl eher eine spaßige Zusatzfunktion zu sein- Die Auswahl der verschiedenen Etagen in der App geht nur über die Änderungsfunktion und ist daher etwas umständlich- Das Gerät kippelt bei Berührung, wenn die Halterung für den Wischmopp nicht angebracht ist- Der Netzanschluss an der Ladestation ist nur an der rechten Seite und das Netzkabel ist mit einer Länge von 75cm sehr kurz; allerdings ist es universell austauschbar- Der Preis ist schon grenzwertig, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Roboter schon aufgrund des Akkus nur eine begrenzte Lebensdauer hat und nicht annähernd an die Saugleistung eines Bodenstaubsaugers kommt; aber die Nachfrage regelt nun mal den Preis- Das Gerät kann keine Türen öffnen und Treppen steigen :-)

Absoluter Gamechanger!
Ich habe dieses Produkt selbst bestellt und von meinem eigenen Geld bezahlt.Dieser Staubsaugerroboter ist ein absoluter Gamechanger!Der Roborock S8 ist nicht mein erster Staubsaugerroboter. Zuvor hatte ich ein Gerät von Xiaomi mit einem Anschaffungspreis von ca. 200,00 EUR. Nachdem dieser aber am Akku geschwächelt hatte, habe ich mich fpr den S8 zum Einführungspreis entschieden. Und ich habe es keinen Tag bereut!Lieferumfang:Im Lieferumfang ist natürlich der Staubsauger selbst mit Ladestation enthalten. Auch die Reinigungsbürsten sind bereits am Produkt installiert. Als Zubehör kommt noch ein Mop für das Wischpad mit nach Hause.Installation:Der Staubsaugerroboter lässt sich super einfach installieren. Man steckt einfach die Ladestation ein und stellt den Roboter davor. Nachdem er ein paar Updates gemacht hat, ist er fertig für seinen ersten Einsatz. Absolut spitze und für jeden machbar.Saug- und Wischleistung:Nach meinem ersten Reinigungslauf der Wohnung bin ich einfach nur begeistert. Die Karte der Wohnung erstellt das Gerät super schnell. Diese kann in der App sehr einfach nachbearbeitet werden. Räume können nochmals aufgeteilt und Sperrzonen, an denen nicht gesaugt oder gewischt werden soll, eingerichtet werden. Das Gerät ist mittels App von überall steuerbar. Man kann also entspannt von der Arbeit aus die Wohnung reinigen lassen.Nach dem ersten Saugvorgang war ich durchaus erschrocken, denn er Staubbehälter war einfach voll. Dafür die Wohnung aber sehr sauber. Es lagen keine Haare von mir mehr rum und auch der Staub war weg. Gewischt hatte er in diesem Zuge auch und meine Badfliesen waren wieder sauber. Was will man mehr! ICh bin begeistert.Je nach Wunsch können unterschiedliche Reinigungsmodi gewählt werden. Die Saugleistung lässt sich in der App ganz einfach einstellen. Auch das Wischen lässt sich dort einstellen. Wenn nicht gewischt werden soll hebt das Gerät seinen Mop an. Absolut spitze.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Objekterkennung des Geräts. Das ist für mich absolut wahnsinn. Mein alter Roboter hat regelmäßig Ladekabel und ähnliches “gefressen” und die Wohnung sah regelmäßig aus, als wäre jemand eingebrochen, da er meine Stehlampe umgeworfen hat. Das passiert hier nicht mehr. Schuhe und Kabel werden erkannt und umfahren. Das finde ich absolut super.Fazit:Ich frage mich, wie ich jemals ohne meinen “Schlucki” leben konnte. Er nimmt mir so viel Arbeit ab, reinigt sehr sauber und schnell. Die Bedienung per App ist sehr einfach. Zu Beginn war ich skeptisch wegen des Preises aber heute kann ich sagen, jeder Cent hat sich gelohnt.

Es bueno pero quizá tenía muchas expectativas
Su potencia es buena, la duración de la batería también, pero me resulta un poco difícil entender las instrucciones de su manejo con los datos de la aplicación, por ejemplo, no entiendo como borrar un mapa y sustituirlo por otro, además en alfombras, si éstas presentan un borde por algún desperfecto el robot se detiene y no es capaz de brincarlo, necesita una superficie totalmente plana, y no recoge todos los pelos de mi mascota.

مكنسة ممتازة والممسحة غير عملية فى وجود قطع سجاد
الجهاز يعمل كمكنسة ممتاز جدا كما هو مصمم له. لكن عند تركيب قطعة المسح فى الجهاز لا يستطيع حتى الحركة على السجاد المتوسط الوبرة ولا يستطيع الطلوع على السجاد لأن مؤخرة الجهار تلتصق بالأرض اذا كان راكب قطعة القماش الخاصة بالمسح. الحل الوحيد انك تستعملة فى المسح هو انك تشيل كل قطع السجاد وايضا لازم تحركة للمكان السراميك الأول بدون قماشة الممسحة وبعدين تركبها فى مكان التنظيف. المشكلة انه بعد تركيب قطعة قماش الممسحة فى الجهاز يكون ارتفاع الجهاز عن السطح اقل من نصف سم فقط وبالتالى عند الصعود على السجاد تلتصق موجرة الجهاز ويعلق ولا يستطيع الحركة. الحل ده عيب تصنيع يجب على الشركة رفع الجهاز عن الأرض المسافة الكافيه اثناء تركيب قماشة الممسحة.

Good Vaccum with pathfinding
I did a bunch of research around robot vaccums and roborock seemed high recommended.Technically, the robot performs well. Multiple floors mapping, no issues – only once did it get lost.It can ‘see’ most objects and doesn’t bump into them hard and will go around furniture legs quite smartly so I’m impressed.The app for controlling the Vaccum is top notch and allows for map out carpeted areas or no go areas. Can use of Vaccum or mop only functions too. 4/5 for Vaccum itself.I’m not impressed with roborocks pricing. On this page it says duties are included in pricing and on the check out page that is simply not true. Minus one star for deceptive pricing.

Enamorada de mi Roborock
Después de unos meses usándolo, no podría estar más contenta con mi robot aspirador. El mapeo de la casa es muy bueno, él sólo te detecta sitios en los que no se debe meter, pero además con la aplicación puedes personalizar la casa. Personalmente hay un par de sitios que le he puesto que no vaya.Otro punto es el tema de la alfombras, las grandes las reconoce y se sube a ellas sin problema, además se retrotrae la mopa sola para no mojarlas si esta fregando, pero si tienes alguna mediana/pequeña, o que tenga como hilos que sobresalen en los bordes, es mejor quitarlas antes de decirle a Roborock que limpie por allí, porque los hilos se pueden quedar atrancados.Finalmente, respecto al envío, primero lo compre a otro vendedor de Amazon y me perdió el paquete, así que lo volvía comprar con este vendedor y fue perfecto, en dos días ya lo tenía 🙂

I didn’t expect much but I am very happy with the purchase
I have a big dog who sprinkles its glitter everywhere. After a long research, I thought maybe I would buy one with a strong vacuum without a mop function.But this mop is quite good. My floor is very light grey epoxy and any paw print will be visible. This sonic mop can get rid of quite tough stains. Some stains I have to use steam mop but so far it is good.Pros:- The mop function works surprisingly well.- The suction power is quite powerful. It comes with many different levels of power.Cons:- The dust bin is quite small.- The water tank can be bigger.- You receive only one mopping pad but you definitely need more. And you cannot buy the official replacement items, although you need to replace some items on a regular basis.- If you have multiple floors with a different wifi name, you can only save one. It does not automatically recognise another one and connect it.- Battery life: I live in a 4 bedroom villa and I cannot do the whole house in one go. The battery last only for one floor and it takes some time to recharge.Despite these cons, I am happy that I have this machine. I can definitely think of something better next time but for now, it does the wonder. If you have a dog/cat, this is a good one.

Replaced Ecovacs Deebot T8 because the latter stopped working after exactly one year and a half.Roborock S7 v Ecovacs Deebot OZMO T8 AIVI, Pros & Cons of Roborock S7 (only critical stuff):+ 40% cheaper (as of Apr 2022)!!!+ similar, but noticeably superior and more user-friendly app+ higher suction power, 2500 v 1500 Pa+ noticeably better climbing on and off carpets and rugs- only one side brush- noticeably smaller water tank and dust compartmentAfter 200m2 cleaning in 2h:* 30% water still in the tank* dust compartment only half full (uncompressed)* 30% battery leftOverall, for the price paid I am more satisfied with Roborock S7 (Xiaomi). It is more than capable of 1 cleaning session (ca. up to 250m2 or 2.5h with Suction power ‘Balanced’ and Scrub Intensity ‘Moderate’) on a single charge.Roborock S7 MaxV (750$) would have been a logical upgrade, but this tech is fault prone and 1 year warranty is inadequate, to say the least. Not that one does not have money to buy a better equipment, but because the value of a cheaper model is little different given the warranty period remains the same. The margin one pays for slightly better performance (around 10%) in case of S7 MaxV costs 50% more while doing the same job just right.

No Warranty Support In UAE
The Roborock S7 that I ordered stopped charging after 7 months. I emailed the manufacturer and they said they don’t provide warranty here in UAE. Good thing Amazon stepped in and helped me out. So don’t expect Roborock to provide direct warranty support for this. Also based on my experience, it’s unreliable since both the dock and unit itself became defective in less than a year.

Non saprei farne a meno… ottimo prodotto
Dopo aver provato Roomba iRobot i7, per la verità preso di seconda mano perché incerto sull’acquisto, mi sono deciso per Roborock.Non posso che esserne entusiasta è molto preciso nel mappare l’appartamento e nei passaggi meticolosi e millimetrici. Quasi mai va a “sbattere” contro ostacoli o battiscopa.io lo uso su un pavimento SPC e l’opzione per fare in modo che segua la direzione della posa è semplicemente fantastica. Ovviamente si può scegliere il tipo di pavimento per ogni stanza.Ottima la potenza di aspirazione in abbinamento alla doppia spazzola che gli permette di catturare senza difficoltà anche i capelli. Efficacité et facilité d’installation
Le Roborock S8 est notre premier achat d’un robot aspirateur, suite au conseil d’un ami, nous avons opté pour ce modèle sans station, en plus d’être efficace dans l’aspiration et le nettoyage du sol, son installation et sa prise en main sont d’une vraie facilité. Que ce soit pour enlever la serpillère ou encore le bac à eau, tout comme le bac à poussière, tout est simple. Manque l’intégration à Alexa à installer mais l’application Roborock est très complète avec plusieurs modes concernant la force de l’aspiration par exemple et bien d’autres fonctionnalités, prise à main à distance + visualisation du nettoyage sur la carte 3D etc…

Beurteilung des neuen Roborock
Wir haben uns jetzt den neuen Roborock bestellt und muss sagen das wir im Gesamtpack sind wir sehr zufrieden. Aber nachfolgend ist eine detaillierte BeschreibungVersandt und Verpackung:Versandt war über Amazon wie immer schnell und ohne Probleme. Die Verpackung ist stabil und kann gut wiederverwendet werden um das Roboter zum Transport zu verpacken. Der Lieferumfang ist wie bei dem Vorgänger Modell sehr gering. Es sind keine Ersatzteile mit dabei nur der Roboter, das Ladegerät und eine Unterlage (fehlt beim Vorgänger) die verhindern soll das wenn er nach der Reinigung an der Station ist und das Wischtuch nicht sofort gewechselt wird Wasserflecken auf dem Boden entstehen.Installation und erste Fahrt:Die Einrichtung ist relativ einfach wenn man den schritten in der App folgt und sollte jeder schaffen. Bei der ersten Fahrt hat man die Möglichkeit zwischen Karte erstellen und direkter Reinigung. Bei der einfachen Karten Erstellung hatten wir Probleme mit der Aufteilung und der Zuordnung. Ich empfehle die Reinigung mit zu machen da es dann genauer wird. Es lassen sich Reinigungspläne erstellen wo man feste Uhrzeiten und Tage einstellen kann, als auch mit welcher Intensität gesaugt und gewischt wird. Das geht aber erst nach der ersten Fahrt.Leistung und Ergebnis:Die Saugleistung ist vom Ergebnis her etwas besser als beim Vorgänger welche aber auch schon gut gewesen ist. Das Wischergebnis ist das selbe wie zuvor und kommt mit vielen klar wenn es nicht Schin eingetrocknet ist. Durch die gegenläufige Bürste haben wir das Gefühl das es besser mit Haaren klar kommt. Allerdings verfangen sie sich auch in den Rollen. (aber weniger intensiv wie vorher) Die Wischtücher des Vorgängers passen auch auf das aktuelle Model. Ärgerlich ist das die volle Saugleistung nicht in Verbindung mit der Wischfunktion zusammen eingesetzt werden kann. was sehr schade.Reinigung und Wartung:Auch der Roboter sollte je nach Nutzung auch zwischen durch gereinigt werden. Beim entleeren bzw herausnehmen des Staubbehälters fällt immer etwas in der Schacht womit er nach und nach verdreckt. Das Kunststoff sammelt auch mit der Zeit Staub. Die Wartung der Sensoren, Filter und Bürsten ist wirklich mehr aufwand als zuvor und ist somit sehr gering.Fazit:Ich würde mich immer wieder für den Roborock entscheiden. Allerdings würde ich auf ein gutes Angebot warten wie zum Verkaufsstart. Wenn man den nur zum UVP bekommen kann würde ich einmal überlegen ob der Vorgänger nicht vielleicht ausreichend ist. Da kann man dann doch noch etwas sparen.Viel Spaß 🙂

J’ai beaucoup tourné autours de tous les modèles: le S8 remportait tous les suffrages! Et je confirme: rapidité d’installation, établissement de la carte en 5mn, précise et complète; Terminator s’est approprié les lieux en 2 temps 3 mouvements. C’est mon 1er Robot, acheté cause blessure car j’avais besoin d’un allié au quotidien. Lui et moi, c’est pour la vie :-). A acheter en confiance!

Mon sauveur ! Depuis le temps que l’on cherchait un aspirateur robot. Notre choix s’est porté sur celui ci et nous en sommes ravis ! Il passe quotidiennement en mode aspirateur et lavage. Quel bonheur de rentré du boulot et d’avoir la maison nickel. Nous avons 1 chat et 1 chien, 2 enfants c’est un gain de temps !! Un peu cher mais c’est un super investissement. Foncez !

Granted, I’m coming from a very old Roomba Scheduler which has been resurrected twice and I finally decided it was time to see what newer tech can do. I am blown away by the S7. The vacuum and mop feature is amazing for handling pet hair and keeping the floors clean between deep cleanings. It is much quieter than the old roomba and since it doesn’t move randomly, the dog tolerates it.I love that it slows down before it bumps into unexpected things. I like to pick a set of rooms or a zone and run it while I’m out for the morning walk with the dog, so I alternate which areas get cleaned on certain days based on how much we use those rooms.I am docking a star because I’ve noticed that when the S7 gets stuck somewhere (for example, it closed a door in a bathroom and locked itself in there until it gave up), it completely loses the dock on the map. So then when you tell it to go dock, it wanders the entire house looking for the dock. That makes no sense to me, since the house obviously hasn’t changed and I haven’t moved the dock. Seems like a software bug, but I doubt it’ll get fixed since it’s an older model. Still, this thing is doing a great job keeping our house cleaner with very little effort (just emptying the bin, swapping the mop pad, and checking the bottom and roller once a week or so).

Schon die Registrierung funktioniert nicht
Die Beschriftung der Buttons beim Registrieren in der App war für mich unklar, sodass ich zuerst dran gescheitert bin. Jetzt hat es aber funktioniert und Einrichten und Inbetriebnahme vom Gerät war tatsächlich relativ einfach.Der Robo macht seine Arbeit gut. Nur über Türschwellen >2cm kommt er nicht drüber, das wäre verbesserungsfähig -wir wohnen halt im Altbau, da gibts sowas :)Das Teilen von Räumen auf der Karte klappt gut aber kommt an Grenzen, wenn der Grundriss wie bei uns ringförmig ist. Dann muss man tricksen, um aus dem Ring sozusagen ein Segment rauszuschneiden.Insgesamt teuer aber empfehlenswert. Jetzt hoffe ich auf lange Haltbarkeit.

Fazit:Super zufrieden!Lange Version:Erster Eindruck:Der Roboter macht optisch ganz schön was her und gefällt mir deutlich besser als die S7 Version (weiß).Der Roboter ist nicht super leicht aber sehe darin keinen Nachteil.Erster Einsatz:Der Roboter muss erstmal eine Karte erstellen (App von Roborock, iOS) bevor er sauber loslegen kann.Beim ersten Durchlauf war ich zunächst unzufrieden.Der Roboter hat einen Teppich angefangen l zu saugen dann hat er diesen verlassen und hat angefangen Boden zu wischen nur um umzudrehen und wieder den Teppich zu saugen.Glücklicherweise lag das nur daran das er erstmal den Teppich erkennen musste.Bei den nächsten Malen hat er den Teppich und Parkettboden getrennt gereinigt und war dadurch auch viel schneller unterwegs.Auch den Esszimmertisch u.ä. hat er bei den nächsten Malen viel zuverlässiger und schneller umfahren bei der Reinigung.Teppich Reinigung:Durch die doppelte Bürste und stärkere Saugleistung (6000Pa) kann der S8 eine Tiefenreinigung des Teppichs starten.Ergebnis: Vollends zufrieden!Vielleicht auf der maximalsten Stufe etwas laut. (Auch Modi mit niedrigere Saugkraft vorhanden)Wischen:Unterschiedliche Modi vorhanden wie stark gewischt werden soll.Wischleistung ist super 👍Unterscheidet sich aber wohl nicht zum S7.Navigation:Super!(Wie schon erwähnt nach der Kartenerstellung)Türschwellen:Im Altbau habe ich relativ hohe Türschwellen in einer Range von 1,5 – 4cm.Eine Türschwelle von 2cm wird locker geschafft. Mehr klappt hier aber auch nicht. Also müssen hier Rampen her 😉Langes Fazit:Voll zufrieden.Gute Verbesserungen in der Hinderniserkennung, Saugleistung und Doppelbürste. Bei vielen Teppichen bekommt der S8 eine klare Kaufempfehlung.PS:Was noch dazu gekauft werden sollte sind Ersatzwischtücher, damit man sie nach Gebrauch in der Waschmaschine waschen kann und damit weniger Pflegeaufwand besitzt.

Exceptional Performance! It works!
Let me start by saying I have purchased no less than 5 robot vacuums over the years and every single one led to disappointment in their operation, performance, and/or features. So my expectations weren’t the highest, but I was hoping the S7 was worth the hefty price and wouldn’t be a another dud.The Roborock S7 was by far the most expensive robot vacuum I’ve ever purchased. I never went over $350.00 with my previous robot buys. But after reading reviews and specs of the S7 and comparing it to countless other vacuums for months and debating with myself about buying the S7, I felt I had researched enough and went ahead and gave it a go. Wow! I am so glad I decided on this particular robot vacuum!**************The vacuum:The suction is great and the carpet boost really helps pick up dog hair from my three large dogs that are constantly shedding around the house and on the living room rug they like to sleep on. It’s actually pretty unbelievable how well it picks up dog hair and dust/dirt off my rugs, tile, and hardwood flooring that the dogs bring in all day. I love how it is able to get under my beds, most furniture and two couches. I neglect those areas pretty frequently, so it’s nice to not worry about dog hair and dust piling up under them.The S7 is amazing when it comes to vacuuming. It is seriously efficient, you can see where and what room the robot is in via the app and the progress it is making, and they battery life while running is fantastic. Speaking of the app, It is wonderful and easy to use – I love how you can send the robot to vacuum different rooms or certain spots in the house as well as the number of times you want it to pass over the selected room/area.The no go areas and invisible wall functions work perfectly. I’ve had no issues at all setting them up and the S7 recognizes them every time.I’ve had no issues with the robot getting hung up or stuck on something while running. It’s the first robot I’ve had that didn’t need full time babysitting while it was vacuuming. The navigation and mapping of my house are both exceptional. It still runs into certain things but is able to recognize and move around the object.As soon as it has finished cleaning, the S7 will return to the base and empty itself in its bin (if you purchased the auto empty base) and start charging itself.—— Vacuum CONs:As far as my personal observations go, I can only note one con and that’s with the bags for the the auto empty dock. I wish the bags were washable and reusable. I get that the current bags are sealed and keep the dust/debris inside the bag and out of the air and off the floors, but a reusable bag would be great for some buyers who try to keep unnecessary waste to a minimum. For some, the sealed bags wouldn’t be an issue at all and could possibly be a pro. But for me, it’s a small annoyance.**************The mop:I love that you don’t have to switch out attachments between mopping and vacuuming. The S7 can mop and vacuum at the same time, which is so convenient.Mop CONS:—— You can only use water in the mop tank, which I know some buyers didn’t like because it doesn’t sanitize the floors at all. My work around is using electrolyzed water, which is as effective as bleach at killing germs. Google force of nature cleaner if you want to use water in the mop to sanitize. I’ve had no issues using electrolyzed water and it makes the house smell clean and deodorized.—— without a doubt you will still need to mop your house. The S7 is great for in-between mopping days. When it rains, my dogs track mud in onto my tile floors. The mop function isn’t going to get the mud up well enough. It will get some up, but not enough to be satisfied with the result. But it does great for very light mopping jobs and mopping under most furniture so you don’t need to move things around to mop underneath.***************Bottom Line:Seriously, I can not recommend the Roborock S7 enough. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. While it was the priciest robot vacuum I’ve ever purchased by a long shot, I’m so glad that, for me at least, it was worth getting over the price sticker shock. It performs fantastic when it comes to vacuuming and the mop function is great for light mopping between good old fashioned bucket and mop cleanings.The S7 gets a rating of 4.7/5 from me. It exceeded my expectations by a miles!

Excellent machine, easy maintenance.
We’ve had the S7 now for 13 months and it continues to run strong. The Roborock replaced a Euffy 11S whiich was a decent entry level robot vac for the money. We have 2 Ragdoll cats and a short-haired, 30 lb dog. The house is a single-floor ranch at 2200 sq ft., and hardwood floors throughout except for the bathrooms with a few area carpets. This robot can easily finish the entire house when vacuuming on a single charge in about 2 hours. When vacuuming and mopping we get about 2 hours and the robot has to dock to recharge and finish the last room after a recharge. We mop the house typically 2 or 3 times a week. We have several extra mop heads and we clean them in the washer so we always start mopping with a clean mop. The rubber brushless beater works great for us. I only have to clean the machine once a week and we vacuum every day. This beater bar makes sense for us since we have hardwood floors througout the house. With the Euffy and the traditional beater bar, we had to cut the long cat hair tangled in the bar after every use. The LIDAR navigation on the robot is excellent. It covers the every square inch of the house every time.Now for just a couple of cons: We replaced an area rug that had a dark border. The vacuum thinks it’s going of a cliff so it will avoid it. This seems to be an issue with all robots that have these sensors under the vacuum. This was a problem with the Eufy as well. It was worth it for us to replace the carpet since the vacuum makes our lives so much easier. We prefer this beater bar since the Ragdoll cat hair doesn’t tangle around it, but it doesn’t pull that hair out as well as a traditional beater bar. So we use a traditional corded vacuum for the area carpets once a week. I think we would do that either way since I don’t believe any robot could truly lift all the cat hair out of our area rugs. So if you have more carpet than hard surfaces maybe look for a different model. Also if you have white area rugs the mop once dirty will make the edges of the carpet dirty also. Our solution for this is to place our white shower mat over the edge of the tub when we’re not using it to keep it from getting mopped.The bottom line is we love this robot. It keeps our floors looking clean and the pet hair under control. We also added the auto-empty dock and that works awesome as well. We purchased one for our son and have recommended it to family and friends.

Fast rundum zufrieden
Im Vergleich zum S5 ist das eine deutliche Steigerung.Dieser Sauger ist um Längen leiser, wischt besser und Wassertank und Wischmop, die nun voneinander getrennt sind, lassen sich wesentlich besser reinigen bzw. nachfüllen.Mein einziger Kritikpunkt sind dieses Stege im Staubbehälter. Durch die Tierhaare, die in meinem Haushalt anfallen, lässt sich der Dreck nur bedingt einfach auskippen. Da muss ich meistens mit den Fingern nachhelfen.Leider habe ich den Einführungspreis verpasst, aber dieser Sauger ist wieder jeden Euro wert.Ich muss mal gucken, wem ich den S5 nun vererbe, denn der läuft ja eigentlich auch noch, nur eben nicht soo leise. ;-)Edit: Ich habe den Saugroboter jetzt zurückgeben, da mich der Staubbehälter doch zu sehr genervt hat. Man konnte den Dreck nie einfach auskippen, da Flusen, Katzenhaare und Dreck immer hängen geblieben sind. Mit einem Sauger absaugen geht auch nicht, da man mit dem Rohr nicht in den Behälter kommt. Man musste immer die Finger benutzen…Mein Fazit zum S8 ohne Plus:Der Sauger ist topp, der Staubbehälter aus meiner Sicht leider eine Fehlkonstruktion.Eventuell kann man die Stege auch einfach heraussägen. Das wollte ich aber bei dem neuen Gerät nicht probieren.

Listen, I love this robot. It’s perfect. Works like a charm, sucks HARD, mops well, the app is amazing, I love it. Five stars.The only reason I write this review is because it has a really hard time getting over thresholds between rooms. We have very average height thresholds and it still struggles. It can eventually do it, but it’s kinda sad to watch it struggle and I usually end up giving it a push.Anyway, if you have high thresholds or THICK area rugs to get over, may wanna reconsider. My shark never had this issue (it had a million other issues instead).Otherwise, buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deutlich besseres WIschergebnis als beim Roborock S5
Hallo,ich hab mir den S8 aus dem Grund gekauft da wir viel schwarzen Fliesenboden habenund mit dem Roborock S5 das Wischergebnis leider nicht so toll war.Eins vorneweg, das erstellen einer neuen Karte in der App ist ein Muss da die bestehende Karte vom S5 nicht importiert werden kann. Hier war ich überrascht, die 115m² / 8 Räume Karte war in 10 Minuten neu erstellt.- Der S8 ist etwas leiser als der S5.- S8 meiner Meinung auch schneller beim Saugen und Wischen.- Akku reicht gut für die 115 m².- Wassertank sieht zwar klein aus, aber hält recht lange.- Wischergebnis bei dem schwarzen Fliesenboden deutlich besser als beim S8.- Leeren und reinigen des Dreckbehälters auch etwas einfacher als beim S5.Der Kauf hat sich gelohnt. So macht das Putzen noch mehr Spaß!

Übertrifft den S7: leiser, intelligenter zum Liebhaben 🙂
Wir haben bereits den normalen S7 und waren zufrieden. Der S8 toppt diesen nochmals. Er ist deutlich leiser (ausgenommen volle Leistung auf Teppichen). Er hat seine Umgebung im Griff. Die Haustiererkennung funktioniert besser als sie sollte, die Katzen wissen, dass Robi vor ihnen Angst hat und nicht andersherum :-).Trotz genereller Begeisterung fürs Gerät. Langhaarkatzenhaare beim Fellwechsel schafft auch er nicht auf dem Teppich. Dass hier die zweite Bürste, im Gegensatz zum S7 wirklich mehr bringt, kann ich nicht direkt bestätigen. Würde behaupten, dass die Leistung dort ähnlich ausfällt. Allerdings kenne ich keinen Staubsauger, egal ob Roboter, Akku oder mit Kabel, der diese Haare schaffen würde.Reinigung, Wasser auffüllen und Co alles ähnlich oder gleich gut wie mit dem S7. Fazit Kauf empfehlenswert.

So far so good, battery life gives me some pause
Quick update now having it for a few weeks. The customizable room settings is an awesome feature. Just want a deep clean mop in the kitchen but still do a full vacuum of the dinning room all on the same schedule works like a champ. The battery life has also not been an issue as I had feared it still seems to burn more than my S5 but it’s getting the job done in one go and it’s mopping. It is so nice to have a mopped floor every day in the heavy travelled areas of the house. The reduction of dust and pollen is impressive.Great vacuum I have no complaints!!Got the robot in on Saturday, I was upgrading from an S5 regular (non-max). Got it all set up and my wife wanted me to hide it in the laundry room rather than out in the main part of the house. It did its initial sweep (pun intended) on the balanced vacuum only setting and while it wasn’t fully charged it got about 2/3rrd of the house done, (approx 2500 sq feet) then it went back and charged and then a few hours later it popped out to complete the job. The charging seemed to be rather slower than I anticipated and the burn on the battery seemed a bit faster than my old S5, I am still gonna watch it.On Sunday I tested out the Mop and I was really impressed. Make sure you have the carpet setting to Rise in the settings otherwise it will just mop on your carpet. The pad pulls up enough for most my rugs in the house, it still might slightly touch but its not actively engaging the mopping function so it doesn’t leave really any water behind. Certainly less than a kid coming in from the pool or when exiting a shower not yet fully dried. It also isn’t lingering over a spot as it moves so I don’t know how much of a issue this might be. Your mileage might very but if the carpet is close I would test it out.Today is Monday and first day of scheduled cleanings, first thing in the morning I filled up the water basin (I am using distilled water, just don’t want any small particulates to get into the water system) and got the pad wet. Then opened the door (remember its hidden away in the laundry room).PROS:- Great suction, seems to get at least everything my S5 got- Rubber brush with removable ends, I live with 3 women with long hair and its very easy to pop off the ends and remove the twined hair.- Mopping and scrubbing so far is really cleaning up the floor. I bet with daily runs the floor will just stay in great shape.- Lifting the Mop means no more extra prepping or trying to zone out a room away from the carpet just for one mop cycle, also the map shows the detect carpet so no more guessing based on the map and the items in the room.- Pending the auto empty bin, this might be a game changer!CONS (might seem nitpicky but for future buyers):- Battery life, not sure yet, it does stop to charge then auto resume so not that big of a deal, but we will see- No auto empty bin yet and unknown cost.Possible future CONS (cause I am gonna be THAT guy):- No extra pads or brushes in the box so with daily mopping how long is this pad gonna last?- curious about popping off the ends on the rubber brush to remove hair, will those lose some hold strength on the 20th remove the 10th the 100th? remains to be seen.That is about it, I am sure there will be an S7 Max with a Camera in the not to distant future, but I am not a fan of the camera action on the bots, I do like the lidar mapping and I think this is a great robot.Definite Buy if your upgrading from a S5 or if you want that combo Vacuum/Mop functionality in one pass with carpet.

Partiamo col dire che di robot aspirapolvere ne ho provati tanti. Partiamo anche col dire che per me comprare la versione con base di auto svuotamento e lavaggio è sostanzialmente inutile. Per lo svuotamento della polvere tutte le basi in commercio hanno un sacchetto che va comunque svuotato e sostituito con uno nuovo( e non è gratis). Per quanto riguarda lavaggio e asciugatura del panno anche la più costosa base da solo una leggera sciacquatina al panno. Il mio consiglio è quindi quello di acquistare una decina di panni e sostituirli spesso per poi lavarli in lavatrice. Questo s8 è sostanzialmente il giusto compromesso tra qualità e prezzo. Avevo provato anche un s7 pro max, dreame l10s ultra, ma come ripeto, a fronte di una spesa di quasi il doppio rispetto a questo non avevo avuto i risultati sperati. I panni sono identici a quelli della versione s7 e ormai si trovano anche qui su amazon a prezzi abbordabilissimi.App fantastica, aspirazione potentissima, lavaggio molto buono, nuovo sistema a doppia spazzola, sicuramente non rimpiangerò il mio vecchio s5 max che mi ha tenuto compagnia per tanti anni.

Einfach Super
Das ist unser 2ter Saugroboter. Der erste hat nach knapp 5 Jahren seinen Dienst quittiert. Was ich an dem neuen Super finde ist das er Raum für Raum durch macht und seine Bahnen zieht, entweder er saugt nur oder saugt und wischt oder erst saugen und danach wischen, wie einem beliebt. Über die Lautstärke kann man nicht meckern, hab gedacht das mein Alter leise ist aber der S8 ist um einiges leiser. Alles in allem bin ich froh drüber das ich den S8 gekauft habe, den möchte ich nicht mehr missen.

Very good, still plenty room for improvement
Received today, used 6 hours1. Camera cannot be accessed remotely . Important for me, totally ok with someone else2. Cannot climb on hile pile carpet. Mine is about 3 cm high. After manually lift on the carpet working good, no human hair remain behind, no debrits, fleasant feeling when i touched carpet, no water on the carpet. So, for my 3 cm high carpet, with one wheel on the carpet and one wheel on the floor easy succeed to return to the carpet3. Editing rooms wall is a nightmare, practically you cannot do it easy, need to spend about 5 minutes to edit a room. Walls you cannot edit.4. Furniture library very limited and scaling of available furniture is limited. I have very big sofa and wardrobe …cannot scale5. Have option to add carpet area … very petty that you cannot rotate, not everybody have carpet oriented parallel with walls. Option to add carpet zone just rectangle/square carpet figure and allways relative to vertical and orizontal phone axis not to room axis.6. Very good obstacle avoidance but catch cables. What i really liked is that when arrive in vecinity of an obstacle reduce the speed so much that even if there is a touch with obstacle is very very gentle7. Good battery, used 3% and 8 m8nutes to scan an apartment with 45 m28. Small pieces of carpet are ignored, goes over them and in 98% will catch them with rollers9. Very quiet comparing with others which i saw during presentations in various shops before. On low vacuum mode you can easly sleep, on boost carpet vacuum mode make same noise like other in low or normal mode10. Very practical solution with mop lifting, working good11. Surface recognition is good and program have option to set individual the type of flooring for each room or defined areas12. Object identification is good but is not perfect … confused high boots with sneakers. Not that this mather but when you have the crown and want to keep it you need to pay attention to details 😉

Einfach nur ein geniales Teil!
Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen! Schnell, leise, präzise und sauber wird es auch. Ich bin total begeistert von dem Roborock. Habe einen Labrador und 2 Katzen die extrem haaren, aber er meistert alles zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit!

Best hardwood floor Robovac but…
LIDAR:I personally prefer LIDAR to SLAM or other camera systems. Robo-vacumms with cameras are nice, but they need light to work. I feel it’s better for privacy, and the vacuum can function at night or in any environment without a light source.Navigation:For one, in my opinion, S7 has one of the best navigation software and hardware. I have various models from other brands including iRobot and this robot is the most effective on time and coverage.The rubber Roll:The implementation of a new rubber roller with a modular cage. Roborock was doing a great job minimizing hair or fur tangles, but now it really feels like one of the best. The new modular design maximizes a seal on hardwood floor, which gets more dirt with less power and passes.Cleaning pattern:The crisscross cleaning pattern is great. Not sure why it’s not the standard or why it wasn’t applied in earlier versions, but this cleaning pattern does make a difference with the vacuuming and the mopping.Doing 2 or more passes was nice, but this crisscross works! It picks up small debris flung or disturbed by the side brush during the first pass.The Mop:The vibrating mop works!! It eliminates spot or stains that other combo-robovacs or dedicated robomops cannot BUT it doesn’t work as advertised or implied, i.e. as a stand-alone unit. But When the mop-cloth is MANUALLY soaked, it will perform as long as it remains saturated with water…Carpet Auto-Detect:Auto rise works, but not relevant for medium lengths pile or loose rugs/carpets.The good news is the detection works very well, so use this avoids those areas if you have a wet mop or if the side brush gets tangled.I will address my carpet issues in the CON section.Automation:You can schedule the Roborock for specific rooms, or power settings, and times. But again there were promises made that still need to be fulfilled – see my CON list.CONS:Most important con for some:This vacuum is THE BEST for wooden or other flat surface without carpet or rugs. If your home has a lot of carpets or rugs, you should seriously consider an alternative option. I have a favorite for carpets and rugs, but back to the S7:Because of the feed and brush design, I would NOT recommend this robot for homes that have mostly rugs or carpets. This RoboVacum performs best with wooden floors or other surfaces where is can establish a suction seal.The second most problematic issue:The mopping features do not work as advertised. It’s a gift and a curse.Let me explain: The gift – The vibrating technology is great!! When wet, the mopping works! BUT, the mop-cloth must be MANUALLY soaked for best results. Do not expect to fill the tank and for the mop to work for multiple days or until empty. It will get the job in small or medium-sized rooms, but large rooms will need human assistance, you’ll have to re-soak the mop-cloth because the water tank does essentially nothing.Tank water flow into the mop-cloth consists of ONE drip every few feet. It’s not an even distribution or spread on the mop-cloth. This can be easily seen if you have a dry mop-cloth; if you run it dry with the cloth you will easily see the single wet point, for those who do not have a Roborock S7 see this video to see what water distribution looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXm2nc6dDS8The mop will not work when damp or dry.So this is NOT a system you can fill the water tank, sit it on the dock and assume the mopping will work – IT WON’T! The Mopping REQUIRES manual assistance. Still, it’s better than any combo-robovacums and most mopping (including Roombas and Braavas imo). The new Braava just streaks imo.Automation needs software updates to provide promised feature:It was advertised as a Roborock that will be able to perform multiple passes from the Schedule-Menu. This is not true. If you want your Roborock S7 to perform multiple passes in some or all rooms, YOU will have to do so manually in the app. This is not something that can be done via the Schedule-Menu as of 2022-03-22.Bin design is SMALL: if you have the auto-empty base it will not matter, but if you buy this as a stand-alone unit you will notice the need to empty it. Also, the design is not ideal – it could have been easier, not a huge issue but still an issue when the vacuum runs multiple times a day.Still, with all these cons, this is still one of the best in the premium robovac category.I sincerely hope Roborock works on the scheduling updates and that in the future Roborock models they work on the water tanks and even water distribution. Until then I’ll have to wet the mop-cloth right before each mopping job.

Liebe diesen Roboter so.Durch die Doppelbürste finde ich ihn wirklich effektiver.Auch unterwegs kann man ganz einfach per App das Gerät einschalten und wählen welches Zimmer gesaugt werden soll.Die Wischoption ist auch sehr gut.Hinterlässt auf unseren Fließen zumindest keine Schlieren.Auch über Teppiche steigt er problemlos drüber und saugt einfach weiter..Preis lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach.

Erster Eindruck…super!
Wir hatten nun über Jahre einen iRobot Saugroboter. Meine besser Hälfte wollte nun endlich einen Saug-Wisch-Roboter. Also hab ich ihn direkt zum Realease bestellt.Seitdem hat er schon einige Male Saugen und wischen dürfen. Und was soll ich sagen… hätten so ein Gerät schon viel früher kaufen sollen :).Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen hier (zum Glück) nicht nachvollziehen. Wir haben uns auf den Boden gelegt, aus allen Winkeln Wischergebnis begutachtet und konnten wirklich keinerlei Schlieren feststellen. Es ist mir ehrlich gesagt auch ein Rätsel, wie so etwas zustande kommen soll. Fliesen sowie Parkett wurden einwandfrei gewischt. Man muss aber evtl dazu sagen, dass unser Boden allgemein Recht sauber ist. Es werden keine Schuhe getragen und es wird täglich gesaugt und mindestens ein Mal wöchentlich durchgewischt. Zudem haben wir keine Haustiere.Die App ist selbsterklärend und für meine Begriffe übersichtlich und intuitiv. Man hat Unmengen an Möglichkeiten. Man kann eigene Zonen einrichten, Sperrzonen festlegen, Räume trennen oder zusammenführen, Programme erstellen (zB erst alles saugen, dann Fliesen intensiv wischen und Parkett leicht wischen), man kann sogar die Verlegerichting des Parkett festlegen, so dass er nicht quer zu den Fugen, sondern mit den Fugen fährt. Also wirklich viel. Auch kann man ihn manuell steuern.Aus jetziger Sicht würden wir ihn definitiv wieder kaufen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre, dass man über Alexa nur eine komplette Reinigung starten kann und keine einzelnen Programme. Aber da bin ich mir sicher, dass noch ein Update kommt.

Bester Saugroboter
Schon der Roborock S7 war richtig gut, aber der S8 wurde nochmals deutlich verbessert. Während wir den S7 meistens 2x (über Kreuz) fahren ließen, schafft der S8 das gleiche Ergebnis locker in einem Durchgang. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden jetzt sogar den S8 Ultra mit der Reinigungsstation in Erwägung ziehen.
