Its cleans very well, BUT…
After two days of using, I can now review it, so basically it cleans very well, and Im happy with results, however 110 minutes of operating (107 to be accurate) will not clean the entire 3 bedroom house, charging is really slow so dont expect the robot to continue cleaning before 4 hours of charging at least.I love that it comes over obstacles and door steps very easily, tells you when something stuck in the brush, very very good cleaning, but I don’t think I will keep it, the robot must go back to the station before charging is out or you will face lots of problems to connect it again to your wifi, I will definitely need another one with more battery lifeSeller is very slow in responding, and doesnt really help

Cant live without it!
The vacuum works great but the mop feature is basic. Also it forgets the location everytime I pick it up to clean it. Recommended product overall though.

Amazing Stuff
This is our first Vacuum Robot and my wife already named it Rosie :p. Initially we thought it is not cleaning that well but when we opened that bucket to see how much it collected, we were shocked to see that it was full of garbage. Best thing is, it can reach the spots none of your maid or yourself could reach. It roams around like a toy but is quite smart and covers every place. All in all its a great piece of equipment from Ecovacs and everyone should have one.

Great vacuum cleaner but Mopping it down
Vacuums all areas perfectly but using mopping is not at mark.. Using vacuuming and mopping is not good idea as the dust gets wet and sticks in the container.I am vacuuming my house twice a day and Emptying dust container on dairy basis.

Amazing vacuum cleaner, highly recommend for people with pets. I have cat and myself I have long hair, it was very difficult to vacuum every 2 days. Now my life is way easier- just pressed 1 button and job done. It collects even small stones and mopping feature great too, I usually add few drops of detol. Very happy with my purchase.

Great Vacuuming, Poor mopping,
1. Excellent Vacuuming performance2. Very Poor at mopping, just drags a wet cloth. Half of the cloth doesn’t even touch the floor3. Navigation is very good4. Threshold crossing is somewhat un predictable and can’t cross 1cm with mopping plate attached5. Mobile Application is fair, however room dividing and merging has many issues and doesn’t work well6. it gets stuck with a loose cable almost every time, the Pro models would be better at that,7. Customer service was good, I had a damaged brush out of the box and they provided replacement set immediatelyI am using it as a vacuum only which is decentWould recommend to wait for their upcoming N9 model which is coming with a superior mopping design

Is a life (and back) saver
Works really well and cleans every corner of the room. I’m surprised how much dirt it’s able to pick up from otherwise visibly clean floors. Mopping is not the best compared to more expensive models, won’t clean dried spills, but it’s perfect for daily use.

The mapping is very good, the robot is super smooth and smart. the app features are all that you need to clean. it has different modes of cleaning: area cleaning, entire apartment or even you can custom a certain spot on the map for it to clean it! super handy and easy to use.also, it divides your apartment into zones in a very smart and surprisingly accurate way. very recommended and the price is way affordable than others. this is the kind of brand that they do not do much advertisement because the product sells itself.

Ecovacs App that controls the device is a nightmare, totally inconsistent randomly deletes maps or unrecognize maps, so u have to redo full house mapping, areas dividing labeling and scheduling over and over again, it wastes time more than it helps, not worth the time to manage it at all

Stumped by high-pile carpets, lace curtains, and the bases of pedestal fans.
While I’m keen on home automation and truly marvel at the idea of robot vacuum cleaners, I’m disappointed with the Ecovacs Deebot N8 – I blame the low ground clearance, but that’s just my opinion, I might be wrong.Pros: Vacuums really well, sucks up all the lint, hair, and really, really fine dust. Easy to clean the dustbin too. Automatically identifies carpet areas (wall-to-wall, low-pile) and increases suction power, does a very good job here too.Cons: Low ground clearance resulting in difficulty crossing thresholds that are 2 centimetres high. It tries repeatedly to mount the base of a pedestal fan – it thinks it’s a threshold challenge I guess. It fights and loses miserably with the edges of an IKEA Vindum carpet (high pile) – it just can’t climb onto the carpet to clean. When it does manage to climb the carpet, it goes in a circle and dismounts for no reason, then starts fighting with the edge further down the length of the carpet.It requires constant supervision because it enters areas and gets lost/boxed in, and will endlessly turn around in circles presuming that the exit will magically appear after its next turn. Oh, and it’s very stubborn – if you try to help it out of its predicament, it will go back to the place where it was stuck and try again in defiance – until you move the furniture giving it a wide berth to exit.Overall, good concept, fairly good execution, needs more lessons in parkour, and how to win battles with high-pile carpets, pedestal fan bases, and thresholds over 1 cm in height.Suitable for houses with low thresholds, low-pile carpets/rugs, including low-pile, wall-to-wall carpets.

Great product; not a replacement to cleaning the room yourself
The good thing about this product is that it can vacuum clean, mop and empty itself into the dustbin. This will significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to keep your room/house clean.However, this is not a replacement to cleaning the room yourself. For example, it cannot clean hard stains on the tiles. You might have to clean that yourself. It also does not clean up corners because the robot is around so you’ll have to mop that yourself too.It will climb on a small rug but not a heavy rug and we use a normal vacuum cleaner for thatAlso, it requires human intervention quite a bit. For example, if you wanted to go on the rug you should remove the mopping plate and then when it’s time to mop you have to put the mopping plate back on. It will often get stuck around wires or will get its sensors dirty; it will then give you a warning and you have to pick it up and clean it so it is not intervention free. You will have to be around and pay attention

Great if you gave pets
This product is great if you have pets as it picks up fur and leaves floors looking clean. The auto empty feature is excellent as not does not need emptying frequently.The negative thing is that sometimes the robot cannot dock and you need to use a vacuum cleaner to clean more efficiently in places that it cant reach

I ordered this model as my first bot and it works very well , my floors are shinier then having cleaners come in three times a week 🙂 we liked it so much that we decided to get the regular bot without the clearing stations for our basement that houses our two cats and it’s very clean , love the mopping function!Pros:Easy to schedule , works well when it works , and does a great job.Cons: sometimes it can’t find its docking station, it does get stuck in odd places, and our first bot now doesn’t climb to the carpets and only mops – but we just switched it to our 2nd floor where it’s mostly wooden floors and we have a nice shine and clean floors even with two furry babies.

I have a small-med size dwelling and have set this up to clean the open kitchen, dining and lounge area with corridor(hallway). It’s easy to set up. You mustFollow the instructions exactly and have good wifi. Initial mapping needs to have un-interupted operation. Once ur map has fully been recorded remember to save it. Cleaning is simple great little tool for the vacuum brush. Mopping not so easy. Still trying to custom a mopping map only for the kitchen without having to pause the bot to insert the mop tool and tank. It’s a good little machine for your first robotic cleaning experience. I’m happy with it. Reddit has an ecovacs forum lotsa tips and tricks. Alexa can also boss it to clean too😁.

Great product, clever, but needs some improvements
– It’s really doing a great job, and can minimize time cleaning.- Clever & following the instructions as set in application.- Helps to do the needed job but not a replacement of conventional vacuum, so keep both together.- It avoids (some items not everything) on the floor, but much better than some other brands.- Dust bin needs a filter to avoid the smell of dust while emptying.- Only one map can be saved for each floor, which makes you every time change some settings.- No way to name the rooms.

Automatic emptying is top class5. Mopping is better compared to many other models6. Custom area cleaning can be used to take care of spillsCon:1. Lidar sensor adds the height and that portion bumps directly into low clearance furniture such as TV unit or Couch. In short, it can’t accurately judge clearance level without bump sensor.2. Not advisable if you have stairs going down. Fails to judge almost everytime. You can work around this by creating virtual wall in app.3. Can’t pick up pieces of tissue paper or rubber band etc. It doesn’t stop or report error if a big tissue is under it. Needs its human to take care of it.4. Path finding to the charging/emptying station can be improved.5. Brushes are not as impressive with thick carpets, definitely needs improvement here.Verdict: A very good machine with a lot of features at a very good priceA DEFINITE BUY FOR APARTMENT OWNERS AND VILLA OWNERS WITH HARD FLOORS

Efficient, smart and worth the price
In my experience the laser mapping worked extremely well, and I was impressive as it does a great job of pulling a lot of dust and debris out of our carpets. It has plenty of suction power and it does auto detect whether it’s on carpet or a harder surface so it will increase the power on carpet to try to pull up more dust. The vacuum does another consideration is that it will avoid carpet when the cleaning plate is installed. The product is straightforward, smart and worth the price.

After several days of use, i can simply say that the item will save some time and effort in your day to day life. Great vacuuming robot
After a lot of research into all the available robotic cleaners, I finally settled on this one primarily due to the good reviews and features but also due to the available support in the UAE. The other Roborock vacuum robot was also highly rated, however, warranty and support seemed to be minimal in the UAE (The seller didn’t even respond to a query). After using it for about 2 weeks now, I find that the robot cleans all the rooms well. It will map out your entire house during its first run, then you can (and should) save the map. After that, you can draw virtual walls around places where you don’t want the robot to go. After these few steps, it will do the job on its own. You do need to empty out the dust collector every few days and the brush does need to be cleaned and de-haired, but other than that there is minimal maintenance or intervention required. The seller Ecovacs store is very responsive too. All in all, a great purchase.

Robot vacuum itself is good, autoempty station is worthless.
Not very pleased with the pair. The robot itself is decent, picks up a lot of dust and hair from floor, and does a good job removing crumbs from the rug. When we first got it and used it, it had a tough time going back to the autoempty station to either re charge or empty. But after adjusting the location a few times it works fine now. However, 3 stars only because the autoempty station doesn’t really do anything as the robot isn’t able to empty any of the dust. Not sure why, but it could be that the hair is getting stuck in the dustbin and blocking the robot from emptying itself. I consider this a major design flaw. Also, the longer hairs do get stuck around the wheel, and on the brush which again, if it requires manual labor, it really defeats the purpose of having a robot vacuum. I shouldn’t have to clean the dustbin or remove the hairs stuck in the brush. If I knew this beforehand, would have definitely purchased the cheaper versions that don’t have an autoempty station.

صار لي سنة استخدم هذا الجهاز بس طول هاذي الفترة بساستخدمت المكنسة من غير المساحة.. لاني ما تفيجتالمهم بخبركم ملاحظاتي عن الجهاز- حبيت الابلكيشن اللي معاه سهل الاستخدام وسهل احط جدول تنظيف للجهاز حتى ينظف من نفسه- بعد ما الجهاز عمل الخريطة ومشى على الجدول صار يخلص التنظيف من غير ما يرجع يشحن نفسه- حلو اني اقدر ابرمجه يمشي على الغرفة مرتين في كل دورة تنظيف أو اني احدد مكان صغير ينظفه و يرجع مكانه- قوة الشفط ممتازة- اذا الجهاز علق في شيء ينبهنا بالصوت- لاحظت غرفتي صارت انظف عن قبل لانه بشكل دوري يشل الغبار و الشعر من الارضالعيوب اللي واجهتها:يوم استخدمته اول مرة خذ مني وقت لين ما رسم لي خريطة – الغرفة. رسم نص الخريطة ورجع يشحن نفسه بعدين كمل- من عيوبه وهم ذاكرينها في الوصف انه ما يقدر يميز الاشياء الصغيرة على الارض فيعلق في الاحذية و الوايرات- و من عيوبه ان مرتين او ثلاث مرات احتجت اني افضي الخزان بيدي لانه كان مليان والوصخ عالق- الشعر الطويل يعلق في الفرشة فيحتاج ازالة بين فترة و فترة- صعب يوصل للزوايا خاصة صوب الستارة او خلف المزهرية/اشجار الديكورالزبدة: صح فيه عيوب بس الفايدة كانت اكبر بالنسبة لي و لاحظت فرق كبير في الغرفة من ناحية النظافة و صرت ما احتاج انادي العاملة الا مرتين أو مرة في الاسبوع

This little item surprisingly vacuums well.It came in a nice packaging with mop accessories. The robot and wifi installation was straight forward with no issues. Can be easily maintained and cleaned. I had a problem with the robot pausing during scheduled cleaning, the ECOVACS customer support assisted to resolve it in a timely manner. Highly recommend this item.

Not a bad mid-priced robot
This is my first experience with a robot vacuum cleaner. We have been using it for 3 months. I want to say this, it helps, but if you want to avoid many problems, you need to think about a more expensive model, or choose the model for your room more carefully.Pros:- It’s not bad at navigating;- Good enough to pick up dust, hair and other debris;- Average noise;- It’s not a washing machine, but after wet cleaning the rag is dirty, which means it does pick up dirt, but the question is does it spread it all over the apartment by the end of the cleaning?- Dust auto-reset;- App;- Carpet detection.Cons:- Maps. Constantly loses location and starts to create a new map, it is very hard to return it to the old map, you have to run it 10 times, slow down, on/off.- Hair will be a problem for your vacuum cleaner, it wraps around all parts and especially the hair affects the dust box, the hair gets tangled with the dirt and when the “auto reset” happens the hair gets caught on parts of the box and the debris stays in the vacuum cleaner instead of flying into the station in the bag. One cleaning is enough to be able to service the vacuum cleaner and remove the hair.- Low clearance. A small rug in the bathroom was a big test for the vacuum cleaner and it almost called for help, but managed to escape the clutches of the linty behemoth. Because of the powerful brushes and low clearance, it started to lift the mat and thus considered it an “obstacle”.- It often gets stuck on thresholds and various objects, and watching it storming the legs of a chair makes you afraid that it will overturn.

Amazing help around home
Quiet, efficient, and quick – amazing productUPDATE: after a few months of daily use the bot started losing the map more and more often as well as the charging dock, even though we’ve never moved it, it couldn’t complete the apartment in one charge to build up the new map because it would be stuck in one area for over 10 minutes so it’s definitely something with its brain rather than mechanics.

I had 3 types of carpets next to each other with overlapping and some hard floor and small area on gradient. The vacuum robot was able to navigate through all of that and around obstacles as well as vacuum difficult areas. The suction power is pretty good for a normal setting. Having the Auto-Empty Station is very convenient and all you have to do is replace the bag. Once room mapping is successfully complete and the software features are unlocked, I was able to unlock the settings and limit cleaning areas to suite my needs. Automating the cleaning on a daily schedule is a godsend for me.

Amazing little cleaning smart Robot!!
This is my first cleaning robot. I watched a lot of youtube comparison videos. I didnt want some of the cheaper ones, or the really expensive ones. This was right in the middle.. And I LOVE it. Very smart, scanned the whole house into zones (you can choose what order to clean which are) and has a very strong vacuum and mop on back. Keeps the floors spotless. The auto empty station is a great idea as well. I recommend this for a medium robot vacuum budget.

Great when it works but have to reset the map each time
Initially it worked perfectly but now the mapping feature malfunctions every time I use it so have to reset the map and start again. Not sure if there’s been a firmware update that’s caused it, nothing has changed regarding my flat so can’t work out why the map keeps rotating, leads to it getting lost, not cleaning the entire flat and general frustration.

Good investment except
Got this after reading many reviews on Amazon and other channels. As our priority was mainly dust so we didn’t go for T8 which has lower suction. It did the job very well. One star off as mopping and virtual blockage don’t seem to work well. Else it’s a very good investment IMO. Hope this will last and not broken down in few months like other users mentioned.

Too many software issues, not worth the money
UPDATE: Customer support reached out to me and offered a full refund. Very pleasant experience. Thank you.I have so many issues with this robot. So often it says it completed cleaning when it has only done 50% of my apartment and has just skipped some areas. Even if manually set it up to clean those missing areas it says after 30secs cleaning done. Sometimes it gets stuck in my bathroom because there is very slight elevated doorstep. Sometimes it doesn’t get stuck so it’s not too high. This is not worth the money as it’s giving me more of a headache than cleaning myself.

Great device but started making noise
After 2 days of use, the device started making loud noise. After following the manufacture instructions for cleaning still having the same problem, although i have no carpet at home. Requested a refund or replacement and lets see how it will go.

Needs patience
Its not for people with less patience. Needs to clean the filter and reservoir every 2 days. The bag is a consumable item so we need to prchase that againThe bot keeps rescanning each time its out for cleaning because it cant identify the place to be same after you move a chair to a different position.I recommend ppl to use this almost everyday as it cant clean efficiently once the dust and wastes pile up.Not for ppl with OCD (minor or major) as it might miss tiny spots and you feel like cleaning it up and then it loses its worth.

Battery malfunction apparently
I bought this product less than one year ago and the battery now lasts less than 1h from the charge station. This is not enough to cover much of the flat’s surface (1-2 rooms at most) before it needs to charge again for more than two hours. when originally it would last much longer. I will have to apply for a warranty claim.

This Ecovacs Deebot is life changing especially for a busy household!
This robot vacuum is life changing, specially for a busy household like ours. It allowed me to automate sweeping and mopping through the app and on the go. I found this really helpful as our house tends to get dusty specially during the summer and the amount of hair fall around the house is massive and this vacuum does the job of cleaning those. I specially like the automatic emptying of the dust as it has a bin in the station that collects it, although you can manually empty its tank as well should you wish to go that route. The best part is that it maps our house so it knows its exact area of cleaning; you can also see its virtual footsteps via the app so you can easily find it when it gets stuck in your house. Item was delivered quick. Highly recommended.

It works… in general.
Been using it for over 6 months.The cleaning. Brooming is very good. Mopping is OKay, it makes the floor wet, so at least removes the dust. But only so much for it, not gona clean something more solid than dust, a drop of (non-sugary) tea, or a footprint. It’s a solid OKay though.The mechanical part appears good. The wheels are large and sturdy, the rotating brushes survive entangling in the cables well (so far). Convenient to clean, and they even included a small brush with a sharp hook on the other side – to cut hair that inevitably accumulates on the rotating brushes. Small convenience – very-very nice.The mapping.. is the pain. Navigation around obstacles and mapping the area is fine. The problem I face is that it loses map randomly. Wake it up, sitting in the charging station… “Locating… Not found, starting new map”, and it proceeds to map the flat again. And you have to again set up the non-entry zones, boundaries etc. Very upsetting. And this happens properly randomly, started maybe after three months (was no such problem at the very start), and now it’s my chore to update the map every other cleaning.

Smart but needs more work
I would advice you to buy, only if you don’t have kids😅Vacuum cleaning is really good,The mopping feature is not top class, it keeps alot of residue behind.The battery is not quite enough to mop a 2 bedroom apartment, and it takes too much to charge.
