I am in love with these earbuds!

Admittedly, I have never had a pair of earbuds before, so I do not have a comparison. I’ve been wanting some for quite a while, so I was very excited to receive these! I think they sound fantastic! They synced seamlessly with my devices, and I just love that I can roam around the house and listen to my K-Love while all day long as loud as I want without bothering anybody else. I know that’s not specific to these earbuds haha. They come in a very cute little case that reminds me of a lipstick case. It is so adorable in pink! The buds sit in the case magnetically, which is awesome! The little case just plugs into a USB. I also love how they block out external noise. They’re absolutely great for noise canceling.

    My New Daily Drivers

Pretty satisfied with these the noise isolation is really really good but the transparency mode isn’t that good I find myself constantly checking to see that they are in fact in transparency mode with the app and I basically have to keep taking one out if i wanted to hear someone talking to me Even while in transparency mode but aside from that the noise cancellation is very impressive and the audio quality is really good too. I’m a guy so the lipstick look isn’t really a concern but it still makes carrying them easier because it doesn’t print as much as my other bulkier earbuds case

    These are awesome

Love this baby blue sleek set of earbuds. I needed to replace my old ones (different brand) so I’d thought I’d try these. I’m really pleased with the look and quality of the sound and noise cancelation. It also has 4 different AI settings for microphone use. It’s great for hands free and easy to use. It was easy to pair to my phone and that was a pleasant surprise too. I love the shape of the charger and port. It’s so sleek and slim and fits in pocket. The earbuds are comfortable and I barely notice they’re there. Very happy with these. I think they measure up to the price, too. Also, another perk is they’re clearly labeled which is left and which is for right ear.

They sound great for the price point

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of the anker earbuds. I own two other flagship earbuds the airpod pros and the samsung galaxy buds 2 and I would say the anker sounds better than the airpod pro’s, almost as good as the samsung’s. This is all personal preference as with any sound quality, but to me they sound great. The case is nice and slim and I like the lipstick style better than the box. Battery life is just as good as the others, if you’re using an iphone of course you miss out on the apple product exclusives like reading your text messages and notifications for you. For 1/4th the price of the flagship products they are a great choice.

    Awesome earbuds!

These earbuds are a home run even without the incredible price. The sound is fantastic. The highs are clear and the bass has a nice punch if you want it. The noise cancellation is fantastic. I tested that with my gas power leaf blower and a noisy work environment. The call quality is first class as well. I could hear my wife clearly and she could easily hear me.They are comfortable to wear for an extended time. They didn’t bother my ears at all. Using the app, the customization is great. As you can see by the attached screen shots, you can customize just about everything.Overall these are definitely five star earbuds.

Holy smokes, I love love LOVE these earbuds

These are incredible.I love these so much.I love that they come with 3 different sizes of earbuds. Ears are all different shapes and sizes and having a choice is incredible.I love how easy they are to use! They function by simple touch, no buttons. It’s all sensor. Haha, and you need to make sure you have the right and the left earbuds in the right ear, or you will give the wrong commands by touch. They are made well. They hold onto a charge for a long time. The noise cancelling feature is marvelous. I love it. It’s perfect for when I’m driving and simply want some noise cancelling to help with my tinnitus.I am SO happy with these!

    Comfy, clarity, and quality

These are some of the most comfortable buds I’ve used in this price range. They are clear, offer amazing sound quality, and the battery life is about average. The case is stylish as well, and it will charge your buds if they get low. I haven’t had any problems with connection so far, and I’m using a Galaxy S23 Plus. Lastly, the app offers some decent customizations for your buds so you can get that personalized setting just right. Overall these are a 5/5 for everything they offer, and they have several other colors to choose from to give you the right style for your personality.

    Awesome earbuds!

I ordered these because I’m a fan of Anker and can you really have too many sets of earbuds?! I’M SO GLAD I GOT THESE!I have small ears and earbuds tend to be difficult for me to wear. These are super comfortable! And I love the small size of the charger, it fits in my purse perfectly! The pairing process was flawless, and the sound is wonderful! The price is perfect for this great set of earbuds and I highly recommend them.

Noise-cancelling works great, nice sound quality.

At the $39 price point with the provided coupon code, these are tough to beat. The noise-canceling feature is comparable with AirPods, and the sound quality is close but not quite at that level, but certainly better than the price paid would indicate. Battery life is as described, and the case is small enough to fit in one of the smaller pockets in your backpack. This is not my first Anker product, but my best experience with the brand.

    Very good

These noise cancelling earbuds are small and lightweight. Fits my ears perfectly and stays in place without fear of falling out. It comes in a small case with type C charging USB. Bluetooth connection took only seconds. Sound is clear and crisp with adequate base depends on what you are listening to. Normal, external sounds are blocked out. Battery had lasted a long time for me. This is a great buy.

These are compact, well made and have excellent acuistics. Being a sound expert myself, I challenge you to find a better value. These are bar none the best value and delivery I have seen on the market in years. You will not regret your purchase! The battery is long lasting too.

    Earbuds with lipstick case

Awesome ear buds! The sound quality is great and crystal clear, they also have nice bass. They paired quickly with Bluetooth. I really like the slim lipstick design case that has a magnetic closure. They are comfortable to wear and come with different sizes to choose from. I’m very impressed with these earbuds.

    high quality, attractive

The case itself is very convenient to carry and charge the buds. The buds fit nice in the ears, comfortable and don’t fall out if you jump around in them. Thr quality of the sound itself is nice. Easy to pair. And blocks out noise pretty well. Overall highly recommend it.

    Great quality earbuds

I love how these earbuds are packaged: The buds are magnetized, so they click right into the (very nice) case, and then the case plugs into the charger. Very compact, nice design, solid construction, and great sound! Great quality, and a good value.

    Enjoyable to wear

I got these for my son who has issues with loud noises. But the issue is that they kept popping out! So I have been using them myself. I got decent range, about 30 yds from my phone. To set the ear buds to noise canceling, you have to use the app. I find this annoying that I have to use an app. Plus side you can also set them to the music type/style you are listen too, or how you like to listen to music. The sound quality is better than good. I have found/heard some issues, but not enough that you wouldn’t want them. The case recharges the buds. So when you are charging the buds, you are charging the case. I was surprised by this.I have over the ear headphones that are not great. With the phone in arms length, they loose connection for a second. Have not run into this issue with the Buds. All I am doing is listening to a book. I prefer the buds over the headphones I have, and I DO NOT LIKE EAR BUDS!Upate 6/2/2024I deleted a star because the ear buds kept connecting to my phone while in the case. It is annoying that this keeps happening. This is an issue that SoundCore needs to address. Also, like headphones that I have, the connection is spotting at times when the phone is in my pocket.

    Mid ANC and ok sound

thesee are cute and compact, great for a person of smaller size and stature as they disappear in my ear (former Lineman here). But these are just ok for sound, listened to a few hip hop and R&B songs and these sound teeny at best. These are marketed as heavy ANC, but they ANC is OK at best, I used the airplane sound test on my home surround sound system and these barely blocked out anything as well as the cafe sound.Bottom line, these are OK, great at $30, over priced over that

    It’s ok

I like that it’s pretty compact and came in a cute pink color, but I have a Soundcore speaker that I LOVE and was expecting the same quality. Unfortunately, these didn’t meet my expectations as far as sound quality and weren’t loud at all! They also weren’t very user friendly and the instructions were so terrible that it made me question if this is an authentic Soundcore product.

    Impressive

I was super impressed by these earbuds. When I first took them out of the case, I was a little worried. They don’t have a super premium feel to them. They’re a little overly smooth, plasticy feeling in my hands, and one of the eartips came loose while I was first setting it up.Then I listened to them, and found where all that money really went. These things have fantastic sound for the price, with good crisp audio that’s fairly well balanced, with an equalizer available on the soundcore app that allows you to adjust the experience to suit your tastes better, though I found that the base sound profile was the best for me. There’s also a 3d audio feature that exists and, while I imagine it’d be really cool for some things, didn’t quite hit the mark for me for regular use. Still, that’s an optional feature, so I can’t complain. The earbuds fit.. alright in my ears. They’re a little uncomfortable when tapping the sides as they push into my ear canal a little, and I found that despite usually fitting medium, the smalls were definitely preferable on these. But they’re secure and I haven’t had any problems with them slipping out. Though as mentioned before, the rubber eartips aren’t on extremely firmly. On one hand this makes it easy to swap them, but I also had them slip off a few times, especially while removing them. The noise cancellation is very interesting. Unlike some other ANC, I couldn’t easily tell an immediate difference between it being on and off while listening to people talk.. But it does filter ambient noise like cars and trucks very well and it became abundantly clear what the difference was when I turned it off while on a bus. Even still, it doesn’t block noise perfectly. You’ll still have some rumbling get through. But it definitely makes a difference, even if it does little for speech. This might be preferable for you, of course, if you want it to reduce ambient sound while not impeding your ability to talk. The ANC is adjustable, however, in the app. There are a number of different settings that tweak how the noise cancellation, from either an automatic auto-adjuster, a simple manual slider, and a few vague modes that probably do something more complex than they let on. I recommend playing with these and finding which one works for your specific desires. The controls are.. alright. You can set the amount of taps to do different things, but I was disappointed to find I couldn’t use single tap for switching between ANC and transparency- it has to be doubles or triples or a hold. And while I could set volume controls to a hold, it doesn’t KEEP lowering/raising the volume while you hold it. It increases it by one ‘stage’ and that’s it, making it very inconvenient. But at least you have the option of changing the controls to any degree. The case is fairly nice. It’s longer than a regular case is due to the lipstick design, but a lot narrower. I have deep guy-pockets so neither is problematic for me, but I could see it being thinner and longer helping people who have tighter pockets.. Or being inconvenient on pants with really shallow ones. Your mileage might vary. While there is a symbol to denote which side is up, I found myself still accidentally opening the case sideways. Fortunately the magnets are strong enough that even holding it upside down and shaking I couldn’t get the earbuds to fall loose, so it’s not a real problem.. But it still feels a little sketchy compared to a regular case where you’re always sure you have it rightside up without trouble. I saw some other comments mention having problems with it sliding open, but I don’t know what they’re talking about. The only way I could get it to slide open without intentional application of force was basically whipping it, and even then it took like 20 times to get it to open once. Not something that would happen with regular use, unless you’re carrying it in a way that something pushes it open somehow. It carries a good amount of charge, I usually keep my earbuds regularly charged so I can’t say exactly how long the battery lasts, but it seemed to drain fairly slowly, and knowing Anker, the total battery life is no doubt solid.Overall, for the price these are extremely quality buds. The sound quality is well above it’s weight class, and while it’s not perfect, it’s definitely worth the buy if you want something that’s good, but not insanely expensive.

sound great with a unique case, some minor things stop it from being perfect

This is a really nice device from Anker. The case is unique and different from all other wireless earbuds I’ve seen or owned in the past. The case can charge the headphones while not in use. What I really like about this case is it holds the earbuds in solidly and the case closes via a magnetic clasp. I tried shaking this thing upside down and it would not open on its own, which is great. You can safely throw this in a backpack or purse and not worry about having to dig for the individual earbuds later. The instructions are fairly clear, however what is not clear is that there is an app called Soundcore that you should download from your phone’s app store and that’s where the vast majority of the features really are. The app is good and easy to use. All of the settings for ANC and EQ are in there, as well as firmware updates etc. I highly recommend using this app if you get these earbuds. The app also has a ‘find my earbuds’ option that makes them play a very loud beeping sound. The earbuds themselves are lighter and smaller than other wireless earbuds I’ve had in the past, which is really nice. They fit solidly in the case with a magnetic click and you can charge the whole thing via a USB-C port on the end of the case. The case is compact and while I believe it is bigger than a lipstick, it is not much bigger. The sound quality is as good as can be expected from bluetooth earbuds. The EQ options and 3D audio option are very useful at dialing in your sound. There’s also a test mode that can test if you have fit your earbuds properly into your ear and made a proper seal. I tested having one in properly and one in improperly and it was able to detect it.Now on to the biggest complaint I have about these. I was unable to find a way to put these in my ears without accidentally touching the ‘button’ multiple times on each earbud. It makes a beeping sound when you’ve done it so you know you have done it. These ‘button’ presses were not mapped by default lucky for me (and can be mapped in the app to what you need them to be), but if they were, they would have been doing things like playing/stopping the audio etc. This is rather annoying while trying to just put them in your ears and I wish the touch area was either more obvious or less sensitive. I imagine this is something that over time I can figure out how to avoid or work around, but it is frustrating for now. There’s also no instructions about this.A couple minor nitpicks that are too mild to be considered cons – I would have liked to have seen a place to attach a strap on the case somewhere – an optional athletic strap that connects both earbuds together would be nice, but wireless earbuds rarely come with such a thing anymore. – I did not see anywhere that I could tell the case was actually charging the headphones, although I imagine it might be in the app somewhere. All in all, for the price, a decent set of wireless earbuds. A few minor things keep this from being a five star review. Anker is a great brand and the Anker quality you expect is in these where it counts.Price:- 59.99Comes With:- charging case- two earbuds (one left, one right)- charging cord- instruction manual- three different sizes of insert- the app has a test mode where it detects if you have the earbuds in properly and have made a proper seal so you can get the best audio quality. really cool feature and it works.Pros:- unique case that stays closed and your earbuds won’t fall out- comfortable earbuds- sound great- app has lots of featuresCons:- easy to press all of the buttons mistakenly while just trying to put them in your ears- charging cord is very short- cannot tell what percentage left the case battery has

    More Anker Magic

Anker continues to impress. The thinner, sleeker sibling to Anker’s P30i, the new Anker A30i features a smaller driver (6mm vs 10mm) and a shorter battery life (7h/24h with case vs 10h/45h with case). What you get in turn is an even lighter package, stronger noise cancellation (46db rather than 42db max), all in a lipstick-styled package. The box is all recyclable, and the packaging minimal, which I really appreciate. Pairing was seamless, and the connection hasn’t dropped once. Integration with the app is also simple, and opens up a world of sound possibilities, with multiple EQ presets, the ability to set custom EQs, a surround sound option (I don’t love it, but sound is very individual), and multiple ANC and control options that are simple to configure.Of course, the most important factor (for me, anyway) is the sound. I’m pleased to report that the A30i can hold its own against earbuds selling for quadruple the price. Deep bass that isn’t distorted, smooth midrange and highs that don’t spike into tinny territory. The soundstage is fairly tight, but I was still getting some space on jazz, acoustic and classical pieces, while electronic and hip hop have surprising punch for such an affordable set of buds. The equalizer app is helpful to get the most out of different genres, but overall I’m very impressed by the quality of the sound such small and affordable earbuds can produce. The fit is also remarkably good, particularly for such small earbuds – they nestle into my ear and form an immediate seal, making the ANC particularly effective. I also like that they don’t have any protruding stems. This does not impact call quality – they have 4 mics and they do a great job, at least according to the people on my conference calls today. If you’re looking for a new pair of earbuds, these are a very solid choice. They’ve taken up residence in my bag as my reserve earbuds, and are getting a surprising amount of use because of the great fit and sound.

    Awesome earbuds!

I’ve never been a fan of earbuds for the fact that I have very small ears and I struggle fitting them without pain or losing them. These fit decently well with minimal pain. I do wish they came with the option of different size rubber tips to choose from for those of us who struggle with tiny ear openings. I really had to force these into place and my right side does come “unglued” after a few minutes and if I don’t adjust quickly, they will fall out. They were simple enough to connect to my phone via Bluetooth, and I love how easy it is to charge them with the magnetic ports for each bud. The case itself is really neat, it looks like a lipstick and it slides open causing it to be quite unique compared to many of the other earbuds on the market today. The sound is phenomenal. I could hardly believe it when I could actually FEEL the bass coming through the earbuds and the clarity of the sound at the same time really sealed the deal for me.However, the case itself doesn’t stay open and it does slide open and shut whether you want it to or not. Which means it can be in your bag and slide open without you knowing and your buds could fall out or even in your pocket or jacket. This happened while I was holding it until I realized what was happening. I noticed that my phone was automatically connecting to the earbuds whenever they were in their case at random times which is super aggravating. I would be watching something and lose the audio only to find that it had sent it over to the Anker earbuds that were in my backpack. The case did come almost fully charged which was nice. As I mentioned before they do only come with the one set of rubber tips for the buds, usually earbuds like these will come with at least one other set to at least have a replacement pair if they were to fall off or need to be replaced. If they could come out with a tiny set that comes with them rather than something you have to order separately it would make it all the better. If you listen to music frequently, you will enjoy these. It does block out a good bit of sound. I don’t know if they are 100% noise cancelling because my ears are too small to fit them comfortably and correctly but they blocked out A LOT when I wore them and listened to music. These would be great for people who work in the back stocking or around very loud equipment and need to block out a lot of the sounds. It would also be great if they offered other colors as the light blue is beautiful, but may not be the first choice for everyone.

    IMPRESSIVE high-quality earbuds!!

I’ve been using the Soundcore A30i by Anker Noise Canceling Earbuds in a Lipstick-Shaped Holder. As someone who uses earbuds for work 10 to 12 hours a day, finding a pair that offers a comfortable fit and exceptional sound quality is crucial for me. The unique lipstick-shaped holder immediately caught my attention, as I thought it would make carrying the earbuds around much easier — and more honestly, I thought it was cool.I also appreciated the option to choose a different color, not just for the aesthetic appeal but also for practical reasons. It helps me differentiate between the earbuds for various purposes. Considering myself somewhat of an earbud expert, I can confidently say that the Soundcore A30i earbuds are of top-notch quality. The accompanying app allows for a wide range of customizable adjustments for sound and usability. I was able to customize how to pause, accept calls, etc, use 3D sound (which is amazing, and adjust the noise canceling in addition to EQ features. The sound quality of these earbuds rivals that of far more expensive options I’ve used. While I primarily use them for calls and online meetings, I have also started using them as my go-to music buds due to their impressive sound performance. The app’s feature that tests the fit in my ears for leakage was particularly helpful, as I discovered that I needed a larger tip size for a better fit, contrary to my previous belief.I love the 3D surround sound feature and the ability to adjust the noise cancellation. The seamless Bluetooth pairing and dual-mode functionality are essential for my work, allowing me to switch between devices effortlessly. Additionally, these earbuds are incredibly comfortable and virtually weightless, staying securely in place during extended wear.If I were to nitpick, my only complaint would be regarding the battery life. Despite using them fully charged every day, I’ve found that they typically need to be recharged after 4 to 5 hours of continuous use, which is shorter than what I’ve experienced with other earbuds, even at lower price points.

    Functional and Nice Earbuds

I purchased the Soundcore A30i by Anker, Noise Cancelling Earbuds and I am glad I did. First let me say I am not well versed in Tech products so some of the features may never be used by me.  The main feature I enjoy is that the ear buds may be worn singularly in either my right or left ear.  My previous earbuds only worked in the right ear if using them as singles. One issue that could be improved, is that when tapping to make certain selections, such as answering a call, it would be nice if there was a raised dot in the middle of the ear buds, sometimes I tap on the side and nothing happens. The sound quality and noise cancellation quality are both good.  It took me some time to figure out how to use the app, but once I did, I liked how you could customize the earbud features.  One complaint I have is, like many tech items, there are no definitions of basic terms and acronyms. For example what do terms like TWS, ANC and Transparency mode mean?  I had to search out someone under 50 years old to help me with many of the words and acronyms in the manual and the app.I like the case and find it easy to use.  Placing the earbuds back into the case is an easy task and it is magnetic so they slip in easily.  I also enjoy the “find my ear bud” feature. Generally I feel that for the price these are excellent quality.

Great Buds, Versatile App & Functions, Solid Value

I’m really impressed with these Soundcore A30i earbuds. The case is the most noticeable feature, with its unique lipstick style shape. It fits easily in a pocket and has a nifty colored light bar on the lid to indicate charging status and such. I got it in the light blue color and it looks nice. The buds themselves are comfortable and stay in place very well, even during active use like jogging. The shape and feel reminds me a lot of my Samsung Galaxy Buds. But there’s more than the case that makes these shine. For me, the app is probably the best feature. It allows a ton of customization in the sound and controls. Using the app, you can choose from 22 (!) different EQ presets or use the 8 band EQ to create your own sound. The EQ makes a huge difference in the sound and really lets you tweak the sonics to your liking. You also have total control over the touch controls. You can assign for both the left AND right bud a single tap, double tap, triple tap, and long press function. I absolutely love this. The noise canceling can also be tweaked in the app, with different settings for reducing “transport” (aka engine) noise, outdoor noise, or indoor noise. Again, kudos to Soundcore for making the app really useful. The sound quality is excellent, and the noise canceling works well. Add that to the nifty design and really powerful customization options, and you’ve got about the best $50 earbuds I’ve found. I chose these for the unusual form factor, but they offer a whole lot more.

    Small Buds, Good Sound

I recently got a different set of Soundcore earbuds that sounded good, but ultimately could not use due to fit issues. Based on that experience, I decided to give the brand another chance by trying the A30i earbuds; fortunately, I have no fit issues with these.I have to admit that the aesthetics of the slide-out charging case played a part in my desire to order these, but in use, it also has a functional benefit: there is no lid to accidentally close on you in the middle of taking the earbuds in/out of the case like some traditional flip-top lids do. However, it is worth noting that the “lipstick-inspired design” is just “inspired by” — it certainly resembles lipstick, but it is bigger than lipstick size (see picture with dollar bill for size reference). This isn’t a big deal, but I find that its overall size and shape do not make it any more pocketable than traditional oval or rectangular case designs.Sound quality and noise cancellation are good for the price, and the A30i give you the flexibility to find the sound that suits your taste via EQ presets (called “sound effects”) in the Soundcore app, as well as a manual 8-band EQ. The app also provides settings for adaptive or manual ANC, and a wind reduction setting.I’m a side-sleeper, and once I saw the size and shape of the A30i earbuds in my hand, I wondered if they’d be good for sleeping — in my case, it turns out that they are. While they are bigger than dedicated “sleep buds,” their form factor lends itself well for that purpose; unlike with sleep buds, I can feel these press against my ear when my head is on the pillow (because they’re bigger), but they do not cause me any discomfort.Continuing with the above, the A30i have something else in common with sleep buds: less-than-stellar battery life. With ANC on and listening at ~50% volume, the first earbud dies at about 4 hours and 45 minutes. To get the advertised 7 hours on a single charge, you may need to disable ANC and maybe even turn off the AAC codec in favour of SBC. To be fair, 4 hours and 45 minutes is actually better than I’ve ever gotten out of actual “sleep buds,” but it’s disappointing for general-use earbuds such as these. The Soundcore A30i are decent performers overall, but I wish the battery life was better…

    Fantastic earbuds!

I’ve finally found a fantastic set of earbuds that actually work, are comfortable and sound pretty good. I’ve never been a fan of “affordable” earbuds as I found they never sounded great and just were never comfortable to keep on for an extended period of time. These buds sound very good with amazing bass response and very good mid to high frequency response. Battery life is also very good, and the case is compact for easy travel. The active noise canceling is quite good in that I found it eliminated 80 percent of ambient noise, and you can adjust the ANC for your environment.I will say, I did not download the app, which would allow more control of the buds. The buds come with 2 different silicone tips you can change out for optimum fit. You’ll have to download the manual to figure out tap controls.Overall, these buds seem very durable and well-made. They are easy to use and intuitive to operate. Best of all, the ANC is very effective and sound quality and fidelity is very good. At this price, they are a great value and highly recommended 👌

Great audio, Make sure to fully charge

These noise canceling, bluetooth headphones are so good. The sound quality is great. I usually cannot stand the feeling/pressure I sense/feel when noise canceling is turned on. I do not feel it so much with these and it is a huge relief. In addition, the shape in the ear is comfortable. The case has great magnetic closures and attachments for the headphones, stronger than what I’m used to with the Apple or Status pairs I have. The “lipstick” design of the case is genius. It will fit anywhere and there is no hinge to break! The touch controls are fairly straightforward and the tones played to indicate modes are all different. The bluetooth pairs very easily. My only advice is to charge them fully, meaning a full, solid green light, not flashing. They come with some charge, but only enough to make the green light flash, this is not enough to pair or use.

    Great product for the price

The media could not be loaded.

If you have read Consumer Reports, Soundcore products have consistently been ranked fairly high relative the the pricier competition (Bose, Sony, Apple) as an affordable alternative. So I’ve been trying these out for about 2 days and I’ve owned Sony WF SP800N as my highest end earbuds. I tend to to buy on value, and it looks like the Sony’s are roughly twice the price right now. Also, my experience is based on paring with an Iphone.Pros:Earbuds worked right out of the box. Didn’t need the app to configureEarbuds fit my ears. They’re lightweight, and don’t feel like they’re going to fall out of my ears. The case is great. For you fidgeters, it slides out easy and has a really satisfying click when you close it. It is secured by magnets. The colors options. The light blue looks great, since I identify as as cis male I thought it might be too fem.The app is great. I was a little resistant to install another app, but it works great and has some handy features for making your own white noise. It is also the only way to adjust the noise cancelling, and it includes some interesting features to evaluate the the fit. Turns out I was installing the earbuds in the wrong orientation.Cons:Sometimes the audio cuts out when I’m turning my head side to side. I don’t have any steel plates in my head, and they are wireless, so I don’t understand why the audio would cut out in this scenario, but it does. The noise cancelling is very subtle, almost too subtle. I really questioned at first whether it was even functioning. But I found a room with a noisy fan and was able to ensure it was working.Easy to insert in your ear wrong. Use the Fit Check in the app and it shows you to insert and slightly rotate so the soundcore logo is vertical. When inserted and sealed correctly, the bass is much better. Try out different tips. The touch controls are going to get knocked as your insert them in and out of your ears. You might drop a call accidentally ( this happened to me as I was switching to use the Soundcore earbuds from my phone)Final thoughts:Music sounds great.Surround mode is a little “bright” for my preference.I had a medium tip fall off in my ear and was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to get it out.Feel very secure in my ear — compare to my Sony’s which do fall out and required me to purchase aftermarket foam tips to find a good fit. They almost fit too well, and I think one advantage to the Apple is that you can fish them out of your ears easily. These are my best in earbuds to date.

Good headphones, but I did expect a little better from Anker

First of all, I LOVE the color. As someone with a light blue iPhone 13 Pro, I love everything in this same shade of blue, so I naturally love that Anker has a ton of products to match it. The headphones do a nice job of cancelling out some noise, but I’m an AirPod Pro user and these can’t even compare (understandably) to the AirPod Pros. That being said, the sound quality is excellent and the battery life is definitely solid.I don’t love the controls that you have to quickly tap twice to pause or fast forward, etc, but they do work. There’s a steep learning curve to find the exact right place to tap and tap quickly enough. I do really like the design of the case and (unlike at least one other reviewer) I haven’t had any problems with it closing too quickly or opening on its own in my bag. I do think it needs to be slightly longer because the inside earbud is tougher to get out than the other. It also isn’t super intuitive – at least at first – which earbud goes in which spot when you have both of them out of the case, so maybe just some small label would be a nice addition! These are a superb option, especially for the price, and would be even better with some slight adjustments. I appreciate that the setup was extremely easy and quick and that they come with extra ear pieces to make sure you have a good fit. I’d still recommend these, particularly if you’re looking for a wireless pair under $50!

    Easy To Use

These earbuds are my first noise cancelling headphones, so I’m not able to say how well they are in comparison to others. That being said I thought they worked great. Easy to setup. You do need to download an app for these, but I liked that so I can see the battery level along with a few other functions. Also, that allowed me to not just rely on the earbuds themselves. The carrying case was truly the size of a lipstick, which again I liked. They fit comfortably in my ear. Sound quality sounded good out of both sides. The only thing I had to be careful was when I was adjusting the bud in my ear I accidentally ended my phone call, but that will become second nature once I become used to them. Overall, I thought they worked pretty well.

Good sound quality and Battery life. Small case, easy to carry.

These headphones have a nice sound and good battery life. The sound quality is excellent for music and voice (for the price point). Don’t expect over the ear headphone quality, but they have decent bass and a good overall sound. The case is easy to pack in a small pocket on my bag and the battery life seems good even with the noise cancelling turned on. Noise cancelling is good, but once again doesn’t compare to over ear headphones. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a midrange set of in ear headphones.

    Love them!

Really wonderful for travel, love the little case and how it charges inside. The slide out feature is nice and everything nestles into place magnetically which I love. It comes with several sides ear pieces so you can get a proper fit, I was concerned about them falling out because I have tiny ear holes. No issues so far when. wearing during chores or moving around. I have found taking calls from my walking treadmill is no issue. The touch navigation is a learning curve (I kept the reference page up for a few days) but once you get it, its second nature. I’d definitely recommend this set, especially at this price point.

    Overall not bad

There’s definitely far worse for more money. By no means the best, but they at least rival JBL, Samsung, and Sony at twice the price point of these.Sound: Nothing to write home about, but definitely delivers for the casual listener who just wants to listen to some music, podcasts, or books. Even the bass profile is not all that horrific being more toned down letting a wider range of sounds to be played.Notable features: With the Soundcore app there’s a ton of customizable options. From custom eq settings to editing what 1, 2, or 3 taps on each nud can do.Overall no regrets with this one as Anker Soundcore has once again delivered.

    Anker does it again!

We have a handful of Anker products and have yet to be dissapointed. I’m old school and normally use some kind of over the ear headphones. Traditional ear buds have never worked for me. These babies though, are a whole new kind of technology. The sound quality is exceptional. Noise cancelling filters out approximately 95% of surrounding noises. The touch controls are taking some getting use to, but work well. There’s no rewind, only fast forward. They charge fast and I used for a couple hours and only lost 10%. So I’m assuming they will hold true to their lengthy advertised battery life. My only gripe out of the gate is not being able to control volume. If they could figure out a way to incorporate that into the technology, these would be a 5 star product for me.

    Excellent

The case is small and light; easy to carry, and is held securely closed by magnets. The earbuds are also small, light, comfortable, and reasonably secure. Not quite secure enough in my ears for running, but your fit may vary (I prefer ones with the ‘wings’ on them for a more secure fit). They come with 3 different size ear pieces to customize your fit. The sound quality is excellent. The app is useful for updating firmware and to customize the touch controls and the EQ. The passive noise cancelling is not great but the active noise cancelling works well. There is also a “transparency” mode, which allows sound to pass through for when you need to hear your surroundings (e.g. running/biking on the street). Overall not quite at the level of $100+ earbuds I have but actually reasonably comparable and excellent for $50.

    Ear Buds are Great

These ear buds are very easy to connect to any device. I have connected them to my work computer to use for phone calls and virtual meetings. The sound quality has been great and my coworkers are able to hear me well. I have also used them on my personal devices to listen to music , phone calls, etc. The sound quality is really full, clear, and crisp when listening to music. They keep the external sounds and noises almost non existent. I am able to sit in the room with a TV on and not able to hear the TV when listening to presentations, podcasts, or other things on my devices. They fit well in my ear and are comfortable. I have had them in for consecutive hours without causing any discomfort. I am very pleased with these ear buds.

    Great sound

I’m a fan of Anker products and was excited to give these a try. The packaging is great. The case is so much smaller than almost every other case I have. So easy to carry around. When you slide it all the way open it lights up letting you know it’s ready to pair. The minute you take them out the will search and pair with your phone. They fit snugly in your ear. I thought they might slip out but no, they fit well and don’t move around. The sound is awesome. I would recommend downloading the Soundcore app. You can boost the sound, use the equalizer. It’s great. The noise reduction makes a difference. There is also an option to automatically adjust for wind. Anker has come out with a great product especially at this price.

    Great Sound!

I was looking for some ear buds that were comfy, had good sound, were noise cancelling and didn’t require that I offer up my first born male child! Enter the Anker Soundcore A30i earbuds. The listing ticked all the boxes and were reasonably priced. I ordered them and even out here in rural America, they were here in less than 24 hours. They’re comfy and take up no room in my bag. I’ve used them for a long flight now and even gave me hours of use pre and post flight. I believe when the listing says 24 hours of play time, they are spot on. They’re easy to stow. Easy to wear, easy to pair, and fully charge in no time. Zero regrets and if some of the nibs get the idea that they like them, these would make an excellent stocking stuffer gift. Great price and quality sound. Anker has made a true winner!

Small yet impressive sounding and value priced

These are quite impressive noise cancelling earbuds, especially for the price. I also have a pair of Apple Airpods Pro that cost 5 times the price and they are certainly not 5 times better. The sound quality on these earbuds is remarkably good and there are several options for the noise cancellation settings, plus they have a 3D Surround sound feature with preset and custom equalizer settings. I can even skip songs and play/pause by double-tapping on the earbuds – something that I can’t even do on my much more expensive Airpods Pro.I installed the Android Soundcore app and right away it said there was a firmware update for the earbuds, so it was good to see that any issues are being dealt with proactively. I did find that I had less range than with other earbuds if I walked away from the phone I have then paired with. With other earbuds I can go 30 to 60 feet from my phone before the streaming music cuts out, but with these I only had 15 to 20 feet before the sound started to drop, but not a problem if you are using them walking around town or taking the bus, and want to concentrate on your podcast, audiobook or song playlist.Overall, I think the sound quality of these A30i earbuds is quite impressive, and even more so at this price point. Is the active noise cancellation as good as the Apple Airpods Pro? Perhaps not, but it certainly comes close enough, and at an 80% savings, I would never recommend that anyone go with the Airpods Pro. They just aren’t worth the price premium, and I’ve had lots of sound issues with the Airpods Pro, making crackling and popping sounds. I’ve had them replaced under warranty, but the replacements started making the same hissing and popping sounds not long after. It is even more frustrating when I know I probably overpaid for them and am not getting my money’s worth. I would easily recommend these earbuds over the Airpods Pro in a heartbeat.

    Good sound quality, great design

In a market that’s oversaturated with hundreds of different wireless earbuds these days which all look pretty much the same, it’s rare to see a company try something new. But that’s what Anker did with the design of the case for these earbuds, and I’m happy to say they did a very good job. The “lipstick” form factor not only looks really cool, it also works very well and even adds a very neat little tactile experience when closing the case with a satisfying magnetic “tack”.The only downside to the unique form factor is the lack of wireless charging which wouldn’t be practical in this shape. But many if not most earbuds in this price range lack this feature anyways. I personally don’t mind charging with a cable which has its advantages in terms of reliability. As for the sound quality, I found it impressive in this price range. Even songs that are bass-heavy sound pretty good. The default EQ seems to do a good job of balancing the different ranges, and I didn’t find the need to adjust it in the app, although that is an option.Overall I’m very happy with them. I’m glad Anker decided to switch up the standard design with this one, and in my opinion they did a good job with it.Current title: soundcore A30i by Anker, Noise Cancelling Earbuds, Lipstick-Shaped Stylish Design, Tiny, Lightweight Comfort, Smart Noise Cancelling, Clear Sound, 24H Playtime, IP54, Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.4My rating system: 5 stars = performs as expected, 4 stars = small flaws, 3 stars = major flaws, 2 stars = barely usable, 1 star = trash

The closest things to AirPods Pro that I have tried! The noise cancelling feature works so well. To really get an idea if the noice cancellation works I purposely tried these both indoors on the treadmill as well as for a run outside and find the clarity of music and my audiobooks is fantastic. Very impressed. When it comes to calls I find the volume is excellent, though sometimes it sounds like the person on the other end is “far away” for a few seconds. A total non issue for myself, especially given their current price point ($59.99 CAD May 2024) in comparison to the AirPod Pros, I’m willing to take some occasional dips in call quality. The fit is great and I find they stay well in my ears (better than AirPods!) meven when running and working out; the set does come with extra earbud tips though for a better fit if necessary. The case is a little bulky compared to AirPods and AirPods Pro. I’m not a huge fan of the lipstick style case but do find it charges the earbuds easily and securely. I can get used the shape of the case but it’s not as compact as most other headphone cases. I’d absolutely order these again!

Very good noise cancelling earbuds for the price

The Soundcore A30i by Anker is a stylish and practical choice for noise-cancelling earbuds. The chic, lipstick-shaped case is eye-catching and portable, while the tiny, lightweight earbuds are ergonomically designed for a comfortable fit. These earbuds effectively block up to 46dB of noise using smart adaptive algorithms, ensuring an optimal experience in any environment. The sound quality is impressive for the price, with clear and well-balanced audio enhanced by the Soundcore app’s 3D surround sound effect. Calls are crystal clear thanks to four built-in mics. Bluetooth 5.4 provides a simple, stable connection, and the multipoint connection allows seamless switching between devices. However, the transparency mode isn’t very effective for conversations, as it’s still hard to hear well with it on. While the app is user-friendly and the earbuds fit well, I occasionally struggle with the buttons, accidentally pressing them when adjusting the earbuds at the gym. Overall, the Soundcore A30i earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone seeking stylish, comfortable, and effective noise-cancelling earbuds.

    Anker’s Soundcore A30i Earbuds Are a Steal

I wasn’t expecting much from these budget earbuds, but the Soundcore A30i from Anker really impressed me. The sound quality punches way above its price tag, with rich audio and very effective noise cancellation. The unique lipstick-style charging case is compact and keeps the earbuds securely in place. The earbuds themselves are lightweight and stay comfortably in my ears. What really sets these apart is the excellent customization through the Soundcore app. You can tweak the EQ settings, adjust the noise cancellation modes, and even customize what taps and presses on each earbud do. It gives you tons of control. For the price of $59.99, the Soundcore A30i earbuds from Anker deliver outstanding value. The sound quality, features, and build quality exceed expectations for the cost. If you want affordable earbuds that don’t skimp on performance, these are a fantastic option.

    Awesome sound

I’ve never had ear buds that I’ve liked and have given up for years on even trying. They’re usually too big for my ears and just fall out or are painfully uncomfortable. But, not these! These buds come with small med and large tips you can swap out, and i have small ears so i tried the small tips and to my surprise…they fit! They didn’t hurt and they stayed in! I even tried shaking my head a bit and taking / chewing and they still stayed in. The sound is excellent, very good quality with full sound range. Comes with a nice storage case that’s also the charger. Don’t hesitate on these earbuds!

  47. WGA

    Excellent sound quality

First aesthetically I am not a fan of the case, I find it larger and awkward in comparison to other designs out there, thankfully this isn’t important. The earbuds themselves provide a superior sound quality to others I’ve tried within the same price range. They were easy to pair with my phone and they haven’t dropped their connection. I also like that I can use it in one ear while driving to take incoming calls and it can be connected to multiple devices. The noise cancelling is decent given they’re earbuds. They are lightweight and comfortable and the battery life is very good.Overall I like them very much and they work well and I really like the sound quality coming from them, definitely recommend them

    Thumbs up from the spouse

I have some name brand noise cancelling buds and wanted to get my spouse some. She has complained that others we have don’t stay in her ears. These ones are much better. The first day we got them she paired them with her devices and had a conference call using the microphone and then used them for an online zumba class. They did not fall out through the class and they are now the buds she uses. The case is a nice design and they hold a good charge. Anker is a brand I trust and easily give these 5 stars.

Style & Sound in Your Pocket

These earbuds have become my constant companion. The sleek, lipstick-like case easily fits in my pocket, and the earbuds themselves are so comfortable that I barely notice I’m wearing them. During my daily commute, the noise-cancelling feature blocks out the city noise, allowing me to fully enjoy my music or podcasts. The sound quality is impressive, with crisp highs and deep bass. I even used them for a work call, and the AI-enhanced call quality ensured crystal-clear communication.

    Good quality earbuds

The sound of these earbuds by Anker is absolutely fantastic especially given the price. They’re very good value and seem like excellent build quality as well. I like the case that they come in which is very nice and portable and easy to use. The earbuds pair very easily with my phone even without the proprietary soundcore app. As soon as I connected the sound core app for the first time it asked me to upgrade the firmware on the earbuds and it kept failing on me despite me not touching the earbuds at all at about anywhere from 30 to 50% of the progress. I tried probably about a dozen times until it was finally successful which is a bit annoying. This was only the first upgrade that I tried and I had a bit of a painful experience. Other than that I am impressed by the noise cancellation, the comfort and the fit of these earbuds. The base is pretty good and the trouble and mids are satisfactory as well. Overall these are excellent value earbuds and I hope that the app improves the firmware updates.
