Worth the Price
This device is well-suited for recording short product review videos or performing tasks while using both hands. It is also ideal for live streaming. However, it is unfortunate that it does not support streaming on platforms other than Facebook and Instagram.

Amazing piece of fabulous eyewear/ tech
Great pair of sunglasses that looks good (like regular Ray Bans) and is easy to use to play Spotify, read and send Whatsapp messages, take pictures and short videos (max 60 seconds), live stream, chat to the Meta assistant to tell weather, send messages etc. I am based in Singapore and made use of VPN to download the Meta View app which is not yet available in Singapore. After the app is on your phone, able to use without continuing to be connected via VPN (and this app does not allow import of pics/videos whilst being connected to VPN or whilst your phone is being used as a mobile hotspot). Cannot wait for new features to come out re image detection and recognition of what’s in front of you! Bought another pair in transition lenses with black frame to wear indoors as well.

Wasn’t expecting to receive today. Got me excited like a kid again and oh boy the glasses did not disappoint. Fits like a glove. The audio is good. Camera is good as well. Don’t expect it to be a phone’s camera quality. With sufficient light, it’s able to take decent photos and videos. Surpassed my expectations

The video files vary in dimension depending on how much the digital stabilization needs to crop in. The largest video resolution (where I really worked to keep everything still) was 1728×2304. Another one where I moved it alot was only 1360×1824. The rest were somewhere in between.

Open Box
Received the glasses and the box was definitely opened prior. What bothers me most is I paid normal price for an open box and glasses that appeared to be tried on or used. The glasses were missing the tab that the app told me to remove to charge.

BAD interface with phone
The first time connecting the glasses, it all works fine. However after updating and turning them off and then back on, they’re just glasses with annoying notifications that you can’t mute or turn down. They get two stars, because they feel and look great, but they lost the remaining 3 when I continued to have problems with it (Currently having problems). It definitely feels like an incomplete product as well.

I’m absolutely hooked!
I manage a big festival. Since I am so busy on event day, I rarely have time to take pictures. Yes, I have a pro doing it but taking more candid pictures is excellent for social media.The glasses were great for that. What I didn’t expect, was to use them every single day since I got them.I don’t like earbuds in my ears, and I listen to a lot of podcasts. Having the Meta glasses is absolutely fantastic! Combining the camera and the listening feature is a game-changer, and I’m not kidding. Wearing the glasses allows me to answer calls, they read out text messages, and of course having instant access to the camera function is great.First world problems like “oh jeez! I have to reach into my pocket, unlock my phone, turn on the camera, get people posed, and THEN take the picture is so harrrrrerrrrrd!” seem silly until you have these glasses. It’s just BAM! your picture is taken. You don’t have to interrupt the moment.GET THESE!

Cost more than Solos, and worth it
If you’re on the fence, just spend the cash. These are the real deal, I started with a cheap pair of $40-$50 knock off music glasses, upgraded to the Solos and was in love. Then I stepped on them, while waiting for the replacements I said I’m gonna go for it and grabbed these. Better in every way, an excellent complete product that will improve over time. The only advantage of the solos is I felt they were slightly lighter/fit less snug and the charging, the solos you can pull the arm off and shove a USB-C cord in, with these you need the case from what I can tell. Get em.

Only 1 minute long videos
I love the quality and functionality of the glasses. The problem is it will only record video a maximum of 60 seconds. That pretty much eliminates most things you want to record. Hopefully an update comes that will get up to at least 5 minutes.

Poor Customer Service-Decreased features-Not Auto Downloaded to Photo Roll
As of this posting, after 6 months of email through the app and finding a direct number to call, the one time I actually got through to customer service I was put on hold for 45 minutes and then asked to give a review when I never even spoke to anyone. I have submitted through app feedbacks and expressions of issues with app without any response. Photos and videos do not automatically download to phone. You still have to manually instigate download files only unless you take off glasses and put them in case, which still does not always work unless done manually. If you fear you may have tech issues or want to giv feedback…or if you want simplified use of features-these not for you. They also just did away with the montage videos which was the main feature that was nice aobut frames.

Picture, Video, Speakers. That’s it.
I just received my wayfarer today. I got the transition lens that changes from clear to gray. Here’s my first impression.1. The “smart” features- you can take a photo with a button. You can take a video with a button, these become over the ear speakers when connected through bluetooth. The picture quality is not too bad. The video looks a bit like 3d video games.2. Don’t expect something futuristic – like on-lens display. No such thing. I turned the notifications on on the app. That was not to show the notifications on the glasses/lens, that was for Meta View app to push notifications on my phone!3. I have a large face and my nose isn’t big. The large size glasses sit like oversize glass, the look I wanted. But the frame touches my chicks. I need the nose piece pads to make them sit right.4. Speakers sound ok, not that great but not too bad either. Feels streo having two over the hear speakers on each temple.5. The voice command “Hey Meta” has delays. It took about 1 second to it to respond to me for any question. It’s like a slower version of alexa.6. The transition lens: they don’t stay completely clear indoors. Probably because there’s some light all the time. Going outside where it is very sunny, the lens turned a bit gray but not completely dark. I could still see my eyes and wrinkles on my face clearly on my camera. So, it is about 20% darker than clear lens inside and it’s about 40% less dark than typical brownish or grayish black lens.I wish it had a little bit more features than photo/video/speakers and voice commands. like on-lens display for notifications and some answers using visual augmentation. It feels like it didn’t really leverage the glasses being glasses that are put right in front of the eyes. Sensory overload is somewhat expected but there’s no such thing.

Slides down my nose
Love these glasses, the pictures and videos are clear as long as I keep relatively steady and move fluidly. Headphones sounds perfect just over half volume.I am a bit worried about the battery life, my trial run lasted half an hour (of heavy use) and brought them from 100% to 60%, which is dramatic. Can’t imagine streaming from them without constantly worrying about the battery.Lastly the most significant issue is how slick the nose is. Ray ban knows glasses, so maybe I’m just in a small minority of slippery nose people they don’t care to cater to, but having to buy anti-slip pads for brand new $300 glasses feels a little cheap, and not including a charging cord is even cheaper.All said, as long as they last more than a year I’ll be very satisfied with this purchase

My Son skateboards, rock climbs, bike rides etc… with my Granddaughter. The videos and stills he takes are amazing. Most people don’t even realize they’re on candid camera lol. I never knew they had such great times together
