    Works great

I couldn’t bring myself to buy one of these until I read the reviews on this. It went on sale and I purchased it and it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought. This thing seriously saved hours of cleaning floors and mopping. It’s wonderful.

    Best vacuum I’ve owned

This vacuum has way more suction and better mapping than my i7 did. It makes jobs quick work. The camera and controls are a fun plus. When mopping it does get tangled on cords easily, so you need to put map obstacles or move the cords out of path. If not the mop heads get pulled off. When not tangled the mopping is great.

Obstacle avoidance downgrade? Still good overall

So I upgraded from a Roborock S7 MaxV to this Roborock Qrevo MaxV.The S7 MaxV required me to fill the cleaning fluid, clean and rinse the mop before each use. This can make it less motivating to clean more often. It has a microfiber like pad for the mop, which does clean the floor, but does not scrub well or deep clean. The object avoidance is decent, and only got stuck a couple times in the 2 years I’ve had it. It did manage to finish cleaning even if cords and debris are exposed on the floorThe Qrevo MaxV auto cleans the mops before and after each use. It has a 4 liter tank, which lasts about 2-3 full cleanings or so (single story house). The mop itself looks like an actual mop and has two rotating mops. This is perhaps the biggest improvement I noticed for Qrevo over S7. The mopping is significantly better, and while not perfect, it has deep cleaned certain areas that were stained and never cleaned by the S7. Note that I only have hardwood floors and no carpet. Now for the annoying:It took me awhile to get it to pair the vacuum to my android phone. It wouldn’t pair until I enabled VPN.. no idea why, but that worked for me.Obstacle avoidance is trash. It can detect your furniture and large areas without bumping into the wall, which is good, but cords? tissues? Other small items? It may take a photo of it, but it will run right over it. It actually ceased to work the first 3 uses: 1st was a tissue that lodged into the spinning brush, 2nd 2 times it ate a cord like spaghetti. What happened here? This object avoidance AI needs some serious updates because it doesn’t deserve that name, and the AI frankly sucks.Hopefully future updates will address this, but I saw older YouTube videos with the same issues, so it seems doubtful.Still, I’m happy with the vacuuming and mopping quality, to keep a husky’s consistent fur at bay. I just have to keep the floors clear of debris, especially cords!!

    Life changer

This robot vacuum is a life changer. First off the quality of construction of the robot and the dock are in another league compared to a Roomba J9 Combo I ordered, tried, and returned. Everything on the QRevo Master just works, no weird errors, nothing to go read a manual on. The navigation and mapping are excellent. This robot does not bump into your furniture or leave marks on the baseboards. You have full configuration on the vacuum power, the amount of water used for mopping and multiple modes for number of passes. It keeps my fully tiled house floor like a clean room. It is clean you can see when you empty the dirty water. Just picks up every spec of dust. I don’t tihink there is anything else in the market that compares right now.

Upgraded from the first Q revo

So honestly, this robot is okay for the most part. I love the upgraded suction, the app is great, super easy to use, the mop extend is so awesome I love it. I love that the base station is easy to clean and the tanks are both easily accessible. I did notice however that the water tanks are slightly smaller from the original Revo which is a little disappointing. Another little annoying thing is that the area where the cord is supposed to wrap around the back… is not wide enough for the cord to ACTUALLY wrap around so the super thick cord just sits around all over the place, minor thing, but still if you’re a cable management freak like me it will annoy you. Another thing I hope that can rectified with a software update is the Avoidance software… this thing gets stuck on cords CONSTANTLY. They tout it’s supposed to avoid all these things which is why I upgraded from the original Q Revo. But nevertheless I’m getting error messages that the brushes are jammed or that it’s stuck. Another thing is I’m not sure if it’s actually heating the water to “wash the mops” when i pour the water out of the dirty tank immediately after it washes, it’s cold. I don’t think the dock draws enough power to do it I believe. All in all this would be five stars I think for me IF the Camera avoidance software gets fixed, because honestly I had a Roomba J7+ and I owned that for years, and it never got stuck on anything once.

    Amazing

The Roborock Qrevo MaxV is a fantastic robotic vacuum cleaner that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. The AI-powered navigation system is incredibly accurate, avoiding obstacles and efficiently mapping out my home. Its powerful suction effortlessly cleans carpets, hardwood, and tile floors, leaving them spotless. The added mopping function is a game-changer, making my floors shine. The app is user-friendly, offering customizable cleaning schedules and settings. I love the large dustbin and water tank, which reduce the need for frequent emptying and refilling. Overall, the MaxV is an exceptional robotic vacuum that combines cutting-edge technology, superior cleaning performance, and ease of use. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home cleaning routine.

    Exceeded expectations

I love this thing. I never had anything like this and went with what appeared to be top-of-the line and am not disappointed. It cleans my hard floors no problem and sweeps/vacuums my low pile rugs pretty well too. It is fairly easy to progam (not perfect), and can get caught up on small things like a piece of cardboard. Also, I have a dog whoes hair clogs the vacuum intake, but I don’t see how we could get around that regardless of what we used, so we have to clear it out once every couple of days. One other thing that’s not the best is if the vacuum bags they give you were reusable. It would be ideal if you could zip them open and closed. As it is, I clean them out by hand once every couple of weeks because I’m too cheap/lazy to order new ones. All in all I can’t say enough good things about this!

So far so good! Keeps the floors shining.

TLDR: Great vacuum performance, plenty of useful features, solid maintenance mopping, better value than current S series (in my opinion, anyway).——————–Given that the Q Revo MaxV is ~$400 – 500 less than the comparable, top-tier “S” model (at least when I purchased it), the value proposition was much higher, especially considering the online consensus that the spinning pads were slightly better for tile floors (of which we have a lot on the level that the vacuum resides). It’s a night and day difference: we upgraded from an old, heavily used S6 (non-pure). The carpets definitely seem more thoroughly vacuumed with the increased suction. It still isn’t perfect, per se, but leaves much less residue in places that we’d typically find bits of lint or string stuck to the carpet fibers.——————–As for the mop, I’m honestly pretty impressed:I add about a cap and a half of the Roborock OMO cleaner to a full water tank, and the floors have definitely gotten shinier over the week that we’ve had it. To clarify, this is NOT a deep scrub – it will do a pretty good job with fresh stains and some “gritty” messes (i.e mud and dirt), but nothing that’s been left to set on the floor. My recommendation would be to give bare floors a once over with a Swiffer to get anything really set in, and then have the vac run a few times a week. Setting it to mop on a schedule is the biggest value add, given that it will significantly cut down on the number of times we’ll need to give the floor a good scrubbing.Your floors could be just as clean with a manual vacuum and mop, but the point is that nobody REALLY wants to vacuum and mop all of their floors 3-4 times a week, especially after a long day. This does all the maintenance work for you, so as long as you’re not spilling entire jars of tomato sauce on the daily, everything will have the appearance of being freshly vacuumed and mopped with very little effort. You’ll need to pop the bottom tray off the dock and rinse it once every 2-3 weeks (maybe more frequently if your floors are exceptionally dirty), and most likely you’ll end up needing to fill / empty the water tanks at least once a week if you’re using it as frequently as I am – all of that said, that’s a 5-minute task, so it’s certainly not any major headache keeping the robot running smoothly.

    Happy I switched

I had the Roomba S9 for years. It finally stopped working. After researching all vacuums, decided on the revo. I’m amazed at how much better it is than the old S9. Much quieter, maps very quickly, doesn’t get stuck or lost, docks smoothly and quickly, cleans better. All around far superior vacuum

Connection issue but responsible customer service

The system has serious flaw in connecting to the app and wifi…Just refer to various reddit post and you will know..so frustrating. The customer care is responsive but it seems like you are talking to a robot. They will ask hundreds of unnecessary questions. Returned it. Save some money, combined mop and vac is a no no…get two separate system…Fortunately, Roborock customer service agreed to replace the model with a vacuum only model. Hope that works well. I will update in due course.

    A Must-Have for Busy Households

As a proud owner of four Roborock products, I was thrilled to receive the Roborock Qrevo MaxV and put it to the test immediately. Right out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek design and premium feel. Eager to experience its cleaning prowess, I set it loose on my floors, and it did not disappoint. The Qrevo MaxV effortlessly glides across various floor types, seamlessly transitioning from hardwood to carpet with ease. Its powerful 7000Pa HyperForce suction effortlessly tackles dust, dirt, and even pet hair, leaving my floors impeccably clean. Compared to our existing S8 Pro Ultra that cleans the living room, the Qrevo MaxV boasts a larger water tank, eliminating the need for frequent refilling. However, I do recommend regularly cleaning the wastewater tank to prevent unpleasant odors.Despite its impressive cleaning power, the Qrevo MaxV operates remarkably quietly, making it a non-disruptive addition to our household. The extended mop effectively cleans corners and edges, while the intelligent obstacle avoidance ensures a smooth and efficient cleaning process.Overall, the Roborock Qrevo MaxV has exceeded my expectations and seamlessly integrated into our daily routine. Its exceptional cleaning performance, combined with its user-friendly features and quiet operation, makes it a truly remarkable robot vacuum. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a hands-free cleaning solution that genuinely liberates them from tedious chores.

    What’s not to love?

I waited all spring for the release of the Max V. It was worth the wait. This is new generation of robo vacuum/map is amazing. We have about 2000 ft2 of tile on our first floor. And “Rocky” (think Siri) responds to either the app or voice commands.Set up was amazingly easily. Rocky mapped the entire downstairs fast. I was able toe easily edit the map and create zones and rooms. VERY EASY.1. Rocky cleans along the baseboards. His rotating mop swings out from underneath and gets the edges.2. The floor is clean when he is done.Notes:1. Rocky cleans and vacuums. He does not power out dried or stained stuff. His primary purpose is daily light mopping which he does very well.2. The two tanks in his home base old about 3 liters of solution which lasts a complete 2000ft2 cleaning. Refill and empty after each use to keep everything up to snuff. He will return to the station 2-3 times to clean his mops and dump the dirty, and refill for each complete cleaning.3. We have dogs. Thus dog hair. It is smart to flip Rocky over onto his back and clean his roller regularly. I do it once a week.Absolutely love Rocky. I am glad I waited to purchase the Max!

    Can’t get it to work

It’s most likely a defective product. Can’t get it to connect to phone and the WiFi. Very frustrating. I would like to believe there is something wrong with this specific unit because paying more than 1k and getting this thing is so disappointing. Stick with Rumba people. Stay away from this Chinese crap

    Doesnt work as expected

Cant connect to wifi after a whole day of trying. The device is absolutely useless. Shocking for a product at this price point. STAY AWAY.—————UPDATE:Roborock support reached out after my initial post, providing the following troubleshooting guidelines,“ Our devices don’t support 5GHZ wifi. If your set-up steps are correct but it’s still not connecting, try methods below:1. Firstly, if your phone’s cellular network or VPN is enabled, please disable them and try again.2. Please go to google play or app store to check if your Roborock app is latest. If not, please upgrade it to latest one and try to connect wifi again.3. Make sure the password of your wifi you’ve input is correct.4. Enable location permission for the app.5. If you’re using IOS 14 or later systems, please enable local network for the app. See attached picture.6. Pay more attention to the select wifi step. See attached picture “select your home wifi”.7. If there are special characters like !@#$ in your wifi name or password, it’s suggested to remove them in the router settings.8. The robot doesn’t support WEP encryption mode. If your wifi is WEP, change it to WPA or WPA2.9. If you understand the router’s setting very well, try to change DNS to 8.8.8.8 in the router’s settings page.10. Reboot your device and router and try again.11. Check if your router’s IP address is 192.168.8.1. If yes, please change it to other IPs like 192.168.9.1 and try again. If none of those solves the issue, please download another app called Mihome to try the connection one more time.”Therefore troubleshooting requires making changes to your existing network and privacy (location) settings to accommodate the device, simply to connect it to wifi, unlike many other cheaper devices I have (old and new).
