Music/Mic Sync very poor
The Music Sync/Mic sync is very poor. I have it around 1m from the TV are really struggles to pick up the beat. Very disappointed considering how good the Govee LED light strips are. Poor 😔

Kids bedroom lightings
Great value, the little one enjoys it calming effects especially whilst playing on his Xbox! I’ve not heard him scream at the TV since we’ve had it. (Bonus)

Fitting is E27 uk, don’t listen to those that says it’s B22. Now having to buy an adapter to be able to use this bulb.

Annoying this has different set up to the light strip. It runs different scenes etc.Also purchased to work with Alexa. It doesn’t.

I hate it
Govee’s the third smart bulb brand I’ve tried, and it fails in every way against both others (both cheap) bar one. So positive first, if someone accidentally switches this off at the mains or there’s a power cut, this won’t lose any settings.Negatives, the app is basic & terrible, it takes an age to connect to the damn thing, it will accuse your phone of having bluetooth turned off when in fact it’s the app that’s malfuctioning, the bulb isn’t that bright, the colours picked onscreen bear almost no relation to what you’ll see in front of you, and because there’s no WiFi, of course it won’t connect to a smart home.I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

I have been using this product for over six months now. All I can say it was a great purchase to make. It was cheap, reliable and easy to use. All you have to do is place in the bulb and boom it’s ready. All you need to do now is connect Bluetooth from the Govee app to change colours and settings. It has many different lighting options to choose from and is decently bright. Should you buy this? Yes I think you should it is worth it 🙂

Descent bulb for the price
Me personally im loving this light bulb as its ONLY bluetooth not wifi .range is okay to one floor and through two walls . Might take abit longer to go app wait for bulb to sink and then turn on or off . But you can always just use switch . But just remember to turn off through app , because if you use switch to turn off , the powers off to bulb so you wont be able to turn on through app. Brightness is okay for what we need it for . As you can see it lights up the room okay . You Can also change to other colours which is bonus . The colours of the bulb are i would say are good . I have purchased more from govee . I have never used any other smart bulbs so nothing to compare with brightness or colours .but for the price im happy .

Very good – some minor connection issues
This is a great bulb, as you’d expect from Govee, and the range of colours and brightness really helps add character to a room. The app is really solid too, easy to navigate and provides a wealth of options to personalize what you want. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is due to the Bluetooth connection, it can take anywhere from 2-10 seconds to connect to the bulb and then needs to connect again should you want to change colours etc. Outside of this however, it’s an amazing product!

Great output just the app control is very clunky/rushed
The lamps themselves are great I’ve changed all my lamps in the living room over to this.The app however is rushed – if you change colour it snaps rather than fades. Its just not really smooth to use.I submitted feedback to them and they are looking into it. It would be nice to change the colour of the room smoothly rather than snapping. the same for brightness as well for dimming up and down.

I put these in my 3 bulb lamp for the man cave. It really does pop and gives you a nice comfortable setting. The app is simple enough to use too. Perfect for gaming, watching tele or just on for show. I’ll 100% but again.

Not compatible with Alexa
Good bulb, but in our experience can only be controlled via the phone and definitely not Alexa compatible as it states on the ad or on the box. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Will only get led lights from govee now
As you can see, I’ve just moved house and made led lights a priority. I have bought govee products before and been happy with them. I looked at different led lights too but didn’t like the idea of using WiFi on lightbulbs. Govee is all done through Bluetooth and so easy to use. I can change the colour, the rhythm and the brightness on the app. I’d recommend getting one for every room but it’s like you’ll need an adapter as these are screw in. Adapters are cheap enough.

Perfect app for control
I like the app that is used to change functionality of the bulb. Its pretty cool.. bulb is bright too and apparently takes very little electricity so they’re very efficient.I got these with a little discount which makes it’s a good buy £12 odd instead of £16

Isn’t compatible with Alexa
I tried multiple times to connect my bulb light to alexa and later on to find out that is the model that isn’t compatible with alexa, the brightness is great with multiple colours but really fell like i wanted the bulb only to be compatible with alexa because having red-light or blue-light on your room feels weird and about the remote control what can I say it’s only working with my phone and i have to manually go into the app wait to connect the bulb with my phone via Bluetooth and then turn it off and the process might be a bit annoying

Great light. Good colours.
Good product all around. Had mine for a few weeks now and no issues.Only wish there were more in app settings like with the wall strips but otherwise can’t complain.
