Great my connection is much better
Have an 1800sq ft home, with modem in office all the way on the back, front rooms and ring where not getting signal all the time, this solved my problems :), love it, super easy to install and works just great.

Works great when it works…
Bought to extend Wi-Fi through my beach house they worked great for awhile, then they started to go offline rather frequently. If one goes off, for whatever reason, the rest of them do not work. I would constantly have to reset them to get them online. Part of the reason for purchasing was to have Blink cameras at the house working when we’re not there. Since these proved not very reliable, I took them out of service and put in a different brand, which does not have these issues. Like I said work great when they work….

Great for 1 year and 3 weeks
This router worked really great until yesterday. I bought this August 2, 2022. Literally 3 weeks after the warranty was up my router (the main unit) just stopped working. I called Google and the guy wanted to charge me to send someone out to my house so they could see what was going on. $39 to come out to my house to tell me what was wrong – I just bought a new router (not the whole system) for $55 so I could save money.I’m disappointed in the customer care after we spend so much money on things these days.Spectrum came out and tested everything and, replaced my modem at no additional cost – that’s customer service and, it wasn’t even their problem.Be cautious. I had no complaints about this system until yesterday. I even use this in a 4 level quad with a detached garage that is 100 feet from my house – I’ve got strong Wi-Fi all over.Do better Google.

It worked with my Spectrum/Airos wifi
I tried 4 different extenders or routers to expand my wifi range and none of them worked. At first, google didn’t either. I called google tech system — they had me connect google wifi, disconnecting my old router, and ran through all kinds of configurations, including deleting the google home app. Nothing worked, but because I had deleted the ap, could not get internet. My call finally ended because my phone ran out of of power and crashed. I reinstalled my old router, reinstalled google app, and the ap installed perfectly. It ws then possible to get google wifi working. Maybe the tech having me reset both modem and router to factory defaults made a difference. I don’t know. And I don’t care. I’m just glad I got the router working.

Didn’t work for me.
I tried these, I went from an Orbi WiFi 6 set, to the google ones. I really really wanted these to work. They do look good. But my expectations were too high I think. Orbi is hard to beat, but they started messing up 12 days after the warranty ran out. I got the nest router to connect once and the speeds were a little slower as I suspected, but I was cool with it if I had more coverage. Spent a couple hours trying to get the satellites to connect, never could. So I boxed it all up and returned it. Bought the eero pro 6 e instead. Pretty happy with those it just sucks that you only get one satellite, if you want another you have to buy two. My area is just big enough to where you need a third module. So dropping another 300 bucks on two more isn’t reasonable even if they are on sale.

Really great replacement for old router
I bought these in tandem with a new modem. It’s been a great combo so far. Really reliable and way better than the equipment provided by Spectrum. I love having 5 bar wifi throughout the entire house and Google readily available to answer “can my dogs eat this…” 40x a day.

WIFI signal is not that strong in a brick house.
WIFI signal is good but it’s strength can be week in a house mostly made with bricks. I bought it with 2 “hotspots” and is barely enough. Installation is easy and sound is what you can expect from one speaker. I think sound is better for the alexa device. I recomend it.

Solvento todos los problemas de red
Muy facil de instalar con la aplicacion de Google, y el unico punto seria que de los 3 dispositivos, uno de ellos (el router), no incluye bocina inteligente, solo los 2 puntos de acceso lo son, para mi caso no era necesario, pero es para tomar en cuenta. Por lo demas, ha trabajado correctamente y ha generado una red estable en todos los puntos

Great signal strength. Easy installation.
I Replaced a conventional router with Google mesh router and 3 points. The Google Home instructions are easy to follow. It helps to completely disconnect the modem from power, network, and coaxial cable for a minute or two before installing the new router & points.

Constant disconnection

Worked great for 15 months. Then…
This mesh network worked great for 15 months. It extends my network and gives me audio all over my house – podcasts, music, radio. Then one of the points growled and crackled. Audio from this point stopped. Signal was suddenly “weak.” Tried off/on, restart, factory reset, relocating, swapping point locations. Still no sound. I expect more from an $85 (replacement cost) item.

Keeps my security cameras going
I was having issues with some of my outdoor security cameras losing signal and going dark. Kinda defeats the purpose of having them. Add in a split level floor plan, lots of walls, and a brick exterior, even the camera right outside the room with the wifi router was struggling. These were super easy to set up and now my streaming services are also screaming fast compared to before.

Access points not for USA
When I installed the router and access points I received a message that the access points were not manufactured for my country (U.S.). The router still worked for about a week. When I tried to relocate the router to another floor I was unable to set the Google Home app to find the router – I tried multiple times including modem restarts. I eventually went back to my original Google Wifi and it installed with no problems. There must be something with this version since it is 1/2 the price of the same hardware on the Google store.

Not worth the hassle.
I read the reviews and thought this system would be awesome. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Getting the system set up was easy. Everything connected exactly how it should with no issues. System worked great for a couple of weeks and then I saw that the access points had weak connections. Reset the system and the issue resolved itself. A couple of days later, weak connection on one, offline on the other. This has been an ongoing struggle with these. Most of the time the signal is poor or weak until you reset it. This is a known issue with many users with no fix.

These changed my home office setup. I was having issues for months with zoom crashing on video calls for work, I upgraded from a 3 year old netgear router to this and wow… zero problems. Working great.

Constantly Disconnects – Requires Continual Factory Resets – Horrible Technical Support
It was a huge pain to get the extenders connected to the mesh network. Once connected everything would run fine for a few days and then one would fall off the network. Would usually require a reboot to restore. Eventually they get so bad that it would require a factory reset to get everything back up. Then the cycle restarts. Attempted to replace through Amazon but extended but Amazon says replacement must be made through Google. Attempted to replace through Google and they say replacement must be made through Amazon. Save your self frustration and hours on the phone getting no where and purchase a different mesh system. I personally wish I would have gone with the Eero.

Love this Google nest system!
This system is great if you want to use a Google home set up. The wifi connectivity is good. I have these placed in different sides in my office building. What is awesome about these is they have a built in speaker that does a fair job for sound playback. We use YouTube music and tidal to listen to music across the office building using multiple access points, a Google home speaker as well as a Nest hub. Works great so far!

Great Wifi Coverage

I like how I can prioritize what gets the most bandwidth. Usually the fire stick in the evenings. Signals stay great all the time, even with the interference of a metal roof.

Frequent disconnects but overall works great.
So I find myself needing to reboot the system pretty often. One point will go down, then a different time I find that the mesh connection between them starts getting weak. Every point is within line of sight of the others so it’s not that. They’re close to one another (about 15′) so it’s not that. Hoping an update fixes it but a little disappointed.

Definitely buy! Complete worth the money 100%
So glad I changed to the Google nest wifi. Spectrum was ripping me off big time. This is 100% worth it! I haven’t had any issues with connections and it reaches all the way to my garage, which is waaaaaay in the other side of the house. Totally an amazing product. Definitely buy!

Had hoped for better.
After hooking up the 3-piece wifi unit, it did help a bit, but not as much as I had hoped for. Overall I guess it works. Will play around with the unit locations and see if it gets better.

Continuously disconnects – Google DOES NOT honor their manufactures warranty! DO NOT BUY!
Over the past 6 months of owning Nest mesh WiFi; I have had to do factory reset over 5x. After factory reset, it will work for 2 weeks fine and then back to having issues. The mesh extenders disconnects 4 to 6 times daily.Do not bother contacting Google. After spending 3 hours on the phone with them and having them troubleshoot; I was informed that I needed to contact Amazon for replacement. After screaming and yelling at them they ensured Amazon will replace the device.I called Amazon and they informed me that they have to contact Google – the device manufacture! Obviously, Google does not want to replace the product and the consumer gets stuck with faulty product. This is totally unacceptable from a trillion dollar company. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your home mesh network. Google should be embarrassed!

Seems to be a downgrade from old Google wifi mesh
Randomly have to restart network. Range seems worse. Multiple devices get regular network errors now.When I first installed my Google phone and other android devices were not capable of setting up the device. So I had to buy a new tablet to set them up.

Son muy fáciles de instalar y con los dos hot-spots me dan covertura perfecta en toda la casa. Lo mejor es que puedes hacer un grupo de audio con los dos altavoces y reproducir música en ambos al mismo tiempo.

Good router, but occasionally drops signal
We’ve had random issues with the two pods where sometimes they’ll randomly disconnect. A quick reboot and it’s fixed, just frustrating to lose internet randomly.
