    Love em

These are great. They are my babies and i love em. I gave 4 stars because they are great but not perfect. Not many things are. Still room for improvement such as more custimization in the app and they do have technical glitches sometimes. But they are worth the price and i get lots of enjoyment from them. Great audio quality and comfort and practical functionality. They are awesome and make life better. Anc is good but BEWARE it can cause very unpleasant side effects which i was un aware of until i used them. I get side effects such as a sucking feeling in my ears like my ear drums are being sucked out of my head. And nausea. And tightness in my chest and difficulty breathing. But this only happens to me when the anc is working hard (in noisy places) so please reseach this before u buy! 🙂

slightly better than the QC earbuds when it comes to connection

First I use headphones and earbuds daily for multiple hours a day. Pros: comfortable and light weight, instant connection when you put them on, noise cancelation is top notch. Cons: they do move around on my head I have a narrow head 6 7/8” to be exact, sound quality could definitely be better overall sound is slightly flat, the volume control is jumpy your better off using whatever you have them paired with to control the volume.

Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

I really like my Bose qc45’s. The physical buttons and bluetooth connectivity were intuitive and were pleasant to operate. Now I feel constantly frustrated, trying to get connections to work or simply use them for the most basic use cases. Having to remember what button combination held for what period of time fixes the $500 catastrophe of product design I’ve gotten myself into. Connecting to multiple devices is a complete and utter nightmare, so instead you just have to forget all connections everytime you switch devices. I have to clear all history of connections on the headphones by holding down two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. This only sometimes works and it can be just the “function” button? It’s actually insane. Then I need to go to the device I want to connect to and forget the bluetooth connection. And then re-add it. Maybe it catches, maybe it doesn’t and I have to repeat the process. If I ever have the audacity to try and have my phone and laptop as devices on the “utras”, my music or video playing will AUTO PAUSE a half second after hitting play. I press play, and the headphones pause the media. No one asked for this functionality. If I wanted this “it just works” feature barrage garbage I’d have spent the money on Apple products. It’s infuriating. Best part is you can’t turn off these features. And the headphones are basically feature locked until you accept terms and conditions and download an app. Do not recommend, stick with the qc45’s until this $500+ paperweight get’s recalled or a serious firmware update. Even then, the buttons are extremely low quality, and unintuitive. Capacitive volume control was a huge mistake as well. Man I need to just return these headphones. They sound great,The Mics Good,The battery is good,This is why I bought these instead of the 45s. Unfortunately an over ambitious product team absolutely missed the mark here.

    Amazing noise canceling, but…

I already had a few pairs of noise canceling headphones, but thanks to noisy neighbors in tightly packed apartments, I decided to go all out and splurge this time around. There are both good and bad with these:Pros:-amazing noise cancelation-quality build-good sound-some good app features-easy to have two devices paired at onceCons:-sometimes they don’t turn on for the first few attempts-sometimes makes that plastic-clicky noise when you move around-there’s occasionally a strange, high-pitched noise in the right earcupNot sure if it’s just the pair I received, or if this is a common issue, but I returned the headphones. Disappointed, because the noise canceling is so good. Gave it four stars because I’m giving Bose the benefit of the doubt, as a quality company. Unfortunately the same can’t be said about Amazon, as I returned these to a Fresh store two weeks ago, Amazon received them at their hub a week ago, and they’re not refunding me, but instead giving me the runaround(?) Not sure what Amazon is up to, and why they continue to make me jump through additional hoops I’ve never had to do before, and telling me there’s been “suspicious activity” on my account. Coincidentally it’s also the most expensive item I’ve purchased on Amazon. More shady business practices. Now I have to dispute the charge on my card, but it’s an Amazon Prime Visa card!

The most comfortable headphones, with a couple of annoying bits…

I returned my Apple AirPod Max’s due to the significant weight and uncomfortable feel. These Bose headphones are incredibly light. I wondered if there was anything in the box when it arrived! You could wear these on your head all day. The sound is incredible and you hear new layers to favourite songs. Slick design. Easy to use. Great battery life and you can turn these headphones off (unlike AirPod maxs). Amazing… however…There are a few reasons why I would not recommend these however:1. The price: they are overpriced.2. The quality: The AirPod max’s feel premium, these don’t. I would say they feel more premium than the XM5s, but still not great.3. Bumps: I don’t like how you can feel and see the drivers inside the ear cups, they are like a bump. Feels tacky.4. Also, they creak…. This is pretty annoying especially when you have noise cancelling on. For the price you would expect to have no cheap creaking. I have seen this on other reviews.5. Noise cancelling is very good, and the adaptive audio or the transparency mode is not as good as apples sadly.6. The case: they come with a case which is great (unlike AirPod max) but you have to fold the headphones in a certain way to get them to zip inside the case. I have yet to do it first time.

    It doesn’t get any better

I have owned 2 pairs of the quiet comforts over the past 8 years and loved them. Even though the ultra headphones were a little more than I wanted to spend, I figured I’d give them a try and return them if I wasn’t impressed. Unfortunately, I’m OBSESSED. The sound quality is as amazing as expected… it’s the more subtle features that made me obsessed. They connect to two devices seamlessly and I have experienced ZERO skipping. The way the music pauses when I move ear cup away from my ear (someone is always interrupting my flow) and then turns back on when I replace it is super convenient. The immersive depth feature is really fun and makes it easier to wear the headphones for longer periods of time. The comfort is unbeatable. I am very sensitive to heavy, tight, and hot headphones. These feel like wearing nothing, with just enough pressure to feel secure. I also like that they look unassuming so it doesn’t make me nervous someone will want to steal them. The ability to easily switch between immersion modes with a quick button is great for London commuting – you can hear the train announcements but block out all the screeching. Also, not directly related to these headphones, but in case you are also considering the Sony’s: I also tried the Sony WH-1000XM5 and absolutely hated how they made my head feel pressurized. I returned them for the milder XM4s and was generally happy with the quality but noticed the bluetooth connectivity sort of “skipped” which really grated on my nerves. I tried only connecting to one device but it still skipped. I also disliked the voice command feature – I like to sing along which would pause my music so I turned this setting off but it kept turning itself on so I’d have to go back to the app to manually override the setting. I’m back to Bose and not looking back!

    Davvero al top

Posseggo Sony wh1000xm4,momentum 3 e bang&olufsen 9i third generation. ANC in primis. A parte questo, resa sonora over the top. Suono pulitissimo davvero. Stracosigliatisdima e….brava Bose

A great update to a favourite headphone set.

Great sound, super comfortable for longer listening times, good noise reduction too. The way to turn the sound up and down via sliding your finger over the headphone side is brilliant as well. The USB-C charge port is great for convenience as well.Study the user manual well before use! The button for turning on and off is not as obvious as previous models (it’s the blue tooth button held for three seconds), and the more minimalist, multi-function button is hard to remember in how many taps at what time does what…I also found the auto-off function was strangely unreliable, draining the battery in the storage case a couple of times when I was not wearing them. Just learn to turn them off manually. The biggest real negative for me is the changes to the travel soft case they come in, with no outside storage on the case like the previous Quiet Comfort cases had. I used to be able to place a pen, passport and credit card in it, ideal for when flying (really the only time I use them) overseas. That all said, these are much better than the previous Bose QC headphones, if not more complex, just study the manuals first and enjoy their great sound.

    Awesome sound and noise cancelling

I have owned bose headphones for years starting with bose q.c.15s wired which I still use as I have converted them to bluetooth with special adaptor, then I upgraded to the qc 35s then to the qc 35 mk 2, each time I upgraded the sound & noise cancelling got better & better…….Then these qc ultra became available, they are very expensive but I decided to give them a go and I have to say they did not disappoint , the sound quality is amazing and the noise cancellation must be the best in the market, when I put them on with tv on normal volume even with no music playing it’s virtually completely silent, I can just about hear the tv, I guess this must be like to be deaf, the app works well, there is an equaliser and other adjustments to suit ones personal requirements, where this is useful I found is the short cut because when you listen to whatever your listening to like music or watching video and you have switched the sound to immersion you have a choice of settings like off, still, or motion but there is no way of changing this on the headphones but this can be added to headset from the app to the volume controller , now let me just say to control the volume on the headset there is a touch control on the right earcup, so once you’ve added this operation to this function the volume control has then got two functions, so to change the volume up or down just slide your finger up down the raised ridge, or to change the other immersion function just touch and hold the ridge and it will scroll though the different options….Now let’s mention comfort, they are very comfortable, none of this head in a vice feeling that many other brands suffer from, the other great idea that these have is when they are removed the head they automatically shut down into sleep mode and when put back on again they wake up and away you go!!!!! Magic, I purchased the smoke white and I must say they look very expensive. The build quality is excellent, as is the storage case, unless I get a fault with them I will be glad to keep and enjoy the best pair of headphones I’ve ever heard or owned. Well done Bose, these are King of headphones. Just to mention one other thing, I read a review below mine stating that the headphones this person in the eu purchased were not up to standard and had scratches on one of the earcups. To check they are brand new there is a tear off seal on the bose box which has to be torn off, if this is not in intact contact your seller before use……

    Best headphones in the market!

Initial Impressions:From the moment I unboxed the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, I was struck by their sleek, sophisticated design. The headphones are incredibly light, and the plush ear cushions felt luxurious the moment I put them on. Powering them up for the first time, I was greeted by a user-friendly voice prompt that guided me through the Bluetooth connection process, which was quick and seamless.Build Quality & Design:The build quality of these headphones is exactly what you would expect from Bose—robust yet refined. They sport a minimalistic style, with a focus on comfort and durability. The materials used are top-notch, ensuring that the headphones not only last but also retain their aesthetic appeal over time. The ear cups rotate and fold neatly, making them perfect for travel and storage.Sound Quality:Bose has always been a pioneer in sound technology, and these headphones are no exception. The sound clarity is exceptional, with rich bass, crisp highs, and detailed mids. Whether I’m listening to classical music, hard rock, or cinematic scores, every genre is rendered with precision and depth. The active noise cancelling function is superb, effectively blocking out external noises and creating an immersive listening environment.Wireless Connectivity:The Bluetooth connectivity is flawless, with a strong and stable connection. I can wander around my house with the headphones on without any drop in audio quality or interruptions. Additionally, the multi-connect feature allows the headphones to be connected to two devices simultaneously, which is a great convenience.Battery Life:The battery life is impressive. On a single charge, I can get up to 20 hours of playtime with noise cancelling on, which is more than enough for a day’s use or a long flight. The quick charge feature is also a lifesaver, providing hours of playtime with just a few minutes of charging.Additional Features:One standout feature is the adjustable noise cancelling, which allows you to modify the level of noise cancellation depending on your environment. The touch-sensitive controls on the ear cups are intuitive, providing easy access to volume, track control, and voice assistants.Final Thoughts:The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are a testament to what high-quality headphones can offer. They provide a perfect blend of style, comfort, and superior sound quality, with noise cancelling that truly stands out in busy environments. Whether for travel, work, or just enjoying your favorite tunes at home, these headphones are an excellent investment. They earn a well-deserved five stars for elevating my audio experience beyond expectations.

One of the worst headphones i ever had

Half the time i can’t turn them on. It’s always a problem after charging them you just have to spent 15min trying to turn these on… There’s also condensation issue inside the cups making some weird sound when you remove them because all the wires are expose inside the cup behind the ear protection… The sound is awful doesn’t even compare to sony it’s just so bad it sounds like earbuds. I regret buying them more than ever and will certainly never buy any bose product in the future ever….

Best if you want comfort and top ANC

Overpriced? I’m still 50/50 on that but its a huge upgrade over my previous pairs which are the Soundcore Q45 in every way. If you want the best “FUN” sounding WIRELESS headphones for the price, the Crusher ANC 2’s which I still use for certain genres where I simply want to feel the music. But with the Quietcomfort Ultras, they’re a great all-rounder. Excellent comfort, top tier ANC and awareness modes, actually amazing sound at medium to low volumes that a lot of headphones I’ve owned tend to sound pretty bland at lower volumes. immersive audio can be hit and miss, but when it works on certain tracks, it can add a new layer of “fun” to your music in a different way to Skullcandy’s crusher bass mode (which again, can be hit and miss but really fun when paird with some genres of EDM)I think, given the price of these, it won’t surprise me if a lot of people will be happier spending much less and getting the Soundcore’s as they have very good ANC and awareness mode for the money, with decent(ish) comfort and an okay, but rather muddy sound (sounds pretty reasonable after setting up the EQ)

Build quality is very good. Sound is just super, I personally like balnced bass and optimized for all sorts of sounds. It serves that purpose. Yeah, price little high but over all product is good. One thing is, AUX cable they designed like, headphone side 2.5 mm and other side 3.5 mm jack. May be they wanted to use only their accessories 🙂

Bose’s best offering to date if you value sound quality, comfort, and ANC

I own the Bose QC45 and have recently tried comparable headphones in this class including the B&W PX7 S2 and Sennheiser Momentum 4. The Bose QC Ultra are probably the best among this group when it comes to my top three priorities – sound quality, comfort, and ANC. Here are my relative rankings in these categories:SOUND QUALITYI was a bit skeptical at first that Bose’s new Immersion Mode would amount to a mere marketing gimmick, but it’s really unlike anything that I’ve ever heard. It’s hard to describe (you have to listen for yourself!). Immersion Mode somehow gives the sense that the audio source is in front of you (almost like speakers), which ultimately creates a more expansive, 3D-ish effect that makes the music “come alive.” I now listen exclusively in Immersion Mode and don’t know that I can go back to the more traditional, “closed-off” sound of other headphones. The QC Ultra is a definite step-up from the QC45.I was also impressed with the B&W PX7 S2’s balanced and clean sound signature; however, I had to return my pair because the left ear cup suddenly and inexplicably went dead after only a week of gentle use. I contemplated repurchasing because of how good they sound but don’t want to take the chance on receiving another dud. While the M4 has a loyal following, I was personally disappointed by the Sennheiser sound signature. The M4 was too bass-heavy for my taste; moreover, the clarity/separation for vocals and instruments was muddy and often overpowered by the bass.Rankings: QC Ultra >= PX7 S2 > QC45 > M4COMFORTBoth the QC45 and QC Ultra live up to the “comfort” in their names. Their light weight and plush padding are second to none, with perhaps a slight edge to the QC45. The PX7 S2 is also quite pleasant to wear but a little heavier compared to Bose. I was not a fan of the M4, which felt a bit cheap to me; the material used for the ear pads was not breathable (think hot ears), and the clamping force was tighter than Bose and B&W.Rankings: QC45 >= QC Ultra > PX7 S2 > M4ANCBose has earned a reputation as the “King of ANC”, a title that is well-deserved IMO. Both the QC45 and QC Ultra are noticeably more effective at drowning out ambient noise than the PX7 S2 and M4.Rankings: QC Ultra = QC45 > PX7 S2 = M4Hope that my observations help you if you’re trying to decide between these headphone options. I plan to keep the QC Ultra as Bose has made substantial improvements to the QC45, namely the Immersion Mode, that justify the price differential for me. I do wish that the battery life were longer, but its other distinguishing features make up for it. Overall, I’d give the QC Ultra 4.5 (rounding up to 5) stars!

    Bose products are renowned!

Bose keeps improving the sound quality! I had an older model headphone and it is time to upgrade. This ultra model completely cuts of noise around you, even the sound of the stand fan! The sound is crisp, clear n good bass! I’ve always been happy with Bose products as they are not only good, but importantly, affordable!…keep it up BOSE!

Grandi cuffie wireless: grande suono in stile Bose

    Disappointed 🙁

So, I bought this headset after testing in Bose official store. Quick Resume: Skip it. It doesn’t cost the price they are asking on release.Long version:Pros:1) Neutral sound profile, compare to Sony Wh-1000xm2 & 3 (Sony are more bass heavy). And I bought Bose to try something better. If it sounds different, it doesn’t mean it worse than something. Just different and I liked it, even if I still prefer bass profile.2) You can connect them to PC via Bluetooth, and it will recognize its microphones (about mic quality later)3) They are lighter than sony’s series, it fits easier. After almost 8h wearing it, not feeling tiered or pressure around the ears like it is with sony4) Bose app provides great flexibility. You can switch off the noise cancellation completely by adding 4-th ANC profile (that was not available in QC 45) and ask headsets to recognize the last choice. Manage multi-connection (that works horrible), audio settings like spatial audio and even announcements.5) Like the default case :)Cons:1) Build quality. Full plastic and semi glossy. Say hello to all your fingerprints on black coloured model. You may hear a creaking or slight cracking sound when folding or fitting on your head. And it’s SO HEAVY to adjust the ear-cups position, it’s so tight that you always have to use both hands. And there is no tactile feedback when you’re adjusting the headsets, unlike the QC/QC 45/xm3&42) Battery life. Not even close to Sony. With spatial audio ~14 h, without ~223) It doesn’t support inline mic cables (you have to buy it separately), if you were planning to connect them via wired to PC/console/phone and use better mic. At the same time, new quiet comfort (not ultra) has it in the box. Why you made such decision, Bose? And in general, mic’s record quality is really poor. Every over-ear ANC headsets have this problem. But with such price… :/4) Auto pause setting. Bose app allows you to switch it off, and I did it, but my headset has been still stopping the audio from single device connection. Whether it was iOS or android device. That’s very strange behaviour and it’s so annoying. Might be Bose Firmware, but it was showing up to date in application. The same even happened in the Boss store, but seller told me it’s due to device it’s connected to (store iPad) and overwhelming of connected devices.5) The worst thing I mentioned. Headsets have to be charged to use it via wire (e.g. with PC). WHAT?! Really? I have to plug charging cable from one side, audio 2.5 to 3.5 from other one. What is going on?6) Passive noise cancellation, worse than Sony. Active one, better than QC 45, worse than Sony (xm4) again.7) Spatial audio. It’s not the selling feature of these headsets. Not every music genre is “compatible”, sometimes it makes worse. Just to play few time for few hours. Not really negative point, but it was the marketing ad. Here is the truth.8) Sensor action button. It has Very notable delay. You slide once from bot to the top to increase the volume, and it will reflect with 1,5-2,5 seconds delay. Very uncomfortable. Better they would keep that clicky buttons.9) AptX Adaptive was not available.10) Sometime I start hearing click-sound in from left speaker and ANC start working only for LEFT ear cup. Mystic/bug.Resume: I was planning to switch the headsets, that can be universal for day to day use and a little gaming (not competitive). But poor mic quality, with lack of inline mic cable support, general item quality, the worst battery life make it impossible to use it with PC. That annoying disconnection and auto-pause killed any wish to buy their current generation headsets.Even so, they have different sound profile I liked, weight and app flexibility can’t make you happy or enjoy the new purchase.Actions made: Returned.

After 1,5 hour of testing Bose’s seller confirmed he still prefers 35…

Pros:1. Best Design2. Comfort to sleepCons:1. Sound like they are assembled from low-quality components and only imbedded software is trying to do something. Natural unnatural sound as a result.2. Poor sound experience according to current competitors Momentum 4 and Sony 1000XM5.3. More personal but NO ANY EMOTIONS. U can buy 3 times cheaper and get more pleasure.FYI I own 35 and 700.Ultra – disappoinment…

    Amazing ANC works as expected

This is an awesome product and was delivered to me just 2 days after ordering. DONT EXPECT a puncher sound because this is an OVER EAR HEADPHONE not like what you would expect a buds or something all over ear just works that way. This is soo comfy to wear for hours, even serves as good earmuffs since they cover the entire ear and is a bit warm. Sound quality is the best but just for chilling music, walk, light workouts or a jog at best but not for those heavy moving exercise moments.

    Lose yourself in the audio

While I’ve only had them for a few weeks, I’m glad that I made the decision to buy the Ultras. I love the Immersion and Aware modes of noise cancellation (I rarely use “Quiet”). The Aware allows me to have conversations without removing the headphones – they’re essentially non-existent. Then when I want to get lost in the music, I change them back to Immersion. The headphones are great for watching my favourite shows too. I don’t have to worry about missing anything from the program or bothering others around me. Comfort-wise, I can wear these for hours without any issues, even with eyeglasses. I haven’t had any battery problems. I’m never listening to things for that long, where I can’t plug them in at some point. Yes, I would recommend buying. They’re worth the investment.

Simply amazing, I’ll never go back, music to my ears!

*Please be aware this review is being written from a totally blind person’s perspective. *As I’ll be one of the first to review these headphones due to how new they are, I’ll try to go into as much detail as possible. First off, upon opening the box, you are greeted by a simple layout. The box purely contains the case and the manual. The case is more of an oval shape compared to the NC700, which is more of a square. Inside the case you’ll find the headphones, USB C to A charging cable and an audio cable if you want to connect it to a wired source.Opening the case up, the headphones feel very sleek, around the same size as other pairs, but the first thing I noticed was the fact the cushions mould seamlessly with the headphones, creating a complete seal. There is not that tiny gap like on the NC700 and others. What I liked immediately though was the fact the cushions slip into place with the use of six little tabs which simply snap into place. It’s a lot easier, for me at least, than trying to line them up with a tiny crack as with previous designs. When you turn them on, they have to be on both ears to activate, so Bose can use its tuning technology to personalise to the shape of your ears. This has to be done every time you put them on, turning them on with only one earcup in place won’t work. They truly live up to their name of ‘quiet comfort,’ I am wearing them right now as I type this, and you can almost forget you’re wearing headphones, you can hardly feel them, they almost mould to your head. They truly do hug your ears. The most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned. I also like how the Bluetooth and power button is slightly indented, whereas the multi-function button is perfectly smooth. The volume strip is also able to be felt, and I love how you just swipe it with a finger to change the volume, and you can also configure a shortcut to it, in the Bose Music App.Now moving on to connecting them, it’s just the same as with previous Bose headphones. Turn them on, you’ll hear the tone, and then the voice prompt will tell you they are ready to connect. Select your device and away you go. You can also store up to 8 Bluetooth devices in the headphones, which is a nice feature. The noise cancelling is without doubt the best I have heard yet. You can hardly hear anything when it’s on ‘quiet’ mode. You can also adjust the level of ANC you want, plus in aware mode, there are also ‘active sense’ settings, which block out loud noises by briefly turning on ANC, then turn it off again when the sound stops. This is good for if you’re in a restaurant and a blender starts up, for example. These also have ‘wind block’ which mutes the microphones for NC while you’re on a call, so you don’t hear the wind against them. The person on the other end will still hear it though. Now the highlight, the immersive audio. I personally think it’s incredible. I’ve heard details in my music I’d never heard before, it gives the song or other content a completely new layer of depth. Bose weren’t kidding about that. I also have the Apple Air pods Max and these knock spots off those for their spacial audio and head tracking. It really does sound like the music is coming from a speaker in front of you, it sounds like the speaker nearest you when you turn your head, whichever way you turn it. I flicked between spacial and stereo, and I tell you what, I’ll never go back. Stereo sounds bland in comparison to this. I will always use spacial now wherever possible. The base is full, as is the treble and mid-range. You don’t miss anything, just like the artist intended. If you’re like me, you won’t go back either! As soon as I heard these were coming out, I just had to get them. It’s my birthday next month and my family said they would pay for them, but I just had to have them now and wow I do not regret it at all, and neither will you! Just one final note, I researched it last night and Bose will be releasing Ultra ear cushion kits for these headphones soon so we can buy replacements, if necessary, mine will probably wear quickly the amount I’m going to use them. I’ll probably use them on my work laptop too. All in all, yes, their pricey, but your ears will thank you, for both the superior comfort and second to none sound at the same time. Worth every penny, happy listening!Edit: (Because I struggled with this too,) if you want to clear the Bluetooth list and start over, press the power and multi-function buttons at the same time for a few seconds while the headphones are on, until the voice says ‘bluetooth device list cleared.’

Best noise cancelling headphones money can buy.

These are not perfect as headphones go, but they are literally the nicest noise cancelling headphones that any amount of money can buy. They have their ups and downs. I’m going to talk in depth about each of these, but overall these are the best noise cancelling headphones money can buy, so even when it comes to their downsides, you can’t do better.First, if you’re a regular consumer, you’ll be blown away by the sound quality. However, if you’re an audiophile used to audiophile grade open back headphones like the Sennheiser HD800, these fall short of audiophile levels of sound quality. Let me explain why that is.Sound quality wise, the sound quality is overall spectacular, but it has two problems. Bass is way overemphasized, and the treble is rolled off. The treble issue is in my opinion the only really major flaw you have to deal with in these headphones. It’s really a shame. Even with EQ, there’s no good way to make up for the treble problem because the high end is just always a little lacking.Bass is massively overemphasized, but everyone seems to do that these days, and most people seem to love it. Thankfully, you can just lower the bass in the EQ and it works fine, but from an audiophile perspective it’s still a mark against it. You can also raise the bass if you want to lose your hearing and cause brain damage from the thump. These things will thump so hard that it’ll give you a concussion.Aside from those two downsides, instruments sound absolutely spectacular with amazing definition, separation, and clarity, it’s just really unfortunate that they rolled off the treble. It’d be nice if the bass wasn’t so overemphasized, but the bass at least is understandable since it seems to be what most people want. I will say however that the mid is absolutely spectacular, so there’s that.Even at their best, if you’re a real audiophile, these don’t hold up to the sound quality of high end audiophile open back headphones by Sennheiser like the HD650 or HD800. These are consumer grade, very top end consumer grade, but they don’t reach the heights of real audiophile territory. For most people though, these will blow you away.Noise cancelling wise, these are the best money can buy. I’ve tried other noise cancelling headphones, and these destroy everything that I’ve ever tried. It’s a night and day difference in terms of the overall quality and effectiveness of the noise cancelling compared to other noise cancelling headphones. However, they’re not totally perfect. I have a bunch of air filter fans running full blast all the time, and it reduces their volume by 90+%, but it’s a little inconsistent. Some of the inconsistency comes from just how the headphones sit in my head, if I get them just right, it mutes probably 98% of the sound, but if they’re just a little off, it drops to between 90-95%. Sometimes it just seems to work better than other times with no apparent explanation. 90% is still a ton of noise reduction. Be aware though that you can still hear things, they’re just quiet. Like if you pass a fan while walking, you can still hear it, it’s just quiet. There is sometimes a slight amount of pressure from the noise cancellation, but it’s very minimal, and a lot of the time there’s actually none.Next, we get into the real premium stuff. You’re paying like $400 for this, so let’s talk about what you’re really paying for: the creature comforts and luxury that get overlooked at lower price ranges…For example, the case for these headphones is simply amazing. It feels extremely premium, it has a nice touch, it’s light but durable, it has this lovely leathery material that is a joy to hold. It just feels like a million bucks. Even the zipper is nice! The internal layout is likewise spacious, protective and just overall very high quality.Same with the headphones themselves. As an object that you hold in your hand, these things simply feel incredible. They’re unbelievably light, I don’t know how they made it feel this light. The headband literally feels like a cloud, it almost melts in your hand. I’ve never felt anything like it. It is insanely soft with this beautiful smooth leather feeling, yet it doesn’t collapse when you wear it. I don’t even understand how that works, but it does. These are the most comfortable set of headphones I have ever put on my head by far. It feels like you’re wearing a cloud. It’s crazy. The clamp force is so low that I can wear these for hours and hours on end and they just feel insanely comfortable the entire time.Even just holding these headphones physically, they feel like a million bucks. Like they’ve got these buttery smooth moving collapsible cans, yet they feel solid and durable, and they have this lovely smooth feeling to them. These are the things you’re really paying for when you pay $400. It’s just all those little details and luxuries that really make it. They put a lot of luxury into the things outside the actual speakers, and it shows. They feel super premium in your hands, they’re a beautiful shape, they’re insanely comfortable to wear, they have this elegant simple design to them, and their case is outstanding. Seriously, if you hold the case and headphones of any of the other noise cancelling headphones in your hands, they just don’t feel as nice as this.Overall, I really wish they hadn’t rolled off the treble. That’s its one major flaw. However, these are so good that I can’t go back to anything else (other than my open back audiophile sennheisers for serious listening). These are like the ultimate casual headphones for every day use. Watching TV? Use these. Going on an airplane? Use these. Going to the gym? Use these. Going for a walk? Use these. Unless all you want to do is sit down and seriously listen to some high quality music in a quiet room with audiophile headphones, you should be using these. These are your ultimate every day use headphones. If you’re a normal consumer who doesn’t care about audiophile grade stuff, these will absolutely blow your mind. Even if you’re an audiophile, you’ll probably end up addicted to them for every day normal use. I’m kindof addicted to them myself, to be honest.

    World class product

I was looking for a great headphone for use in the office and while working. I extensively looked at the Momentum 4, the Sony WX …5, the B&W PX7s2 etc. In the end purchased the Bose because of(1) the test results on call quality(2) alleged comfort while wearing(3) the size of the case (smallest of amongst competition)I am sure the alternatives are pretty good too. I can only state that I am supremely happy with these Bose headphones. Sound quality I find excellent. Some reviews criticize its Immersion settings for sound, but I find it spectacular. Battery duration is fine. Charging it perhaps once per week.Another great feature is that I can work on my laptop and phone simultaneously. The headset transitions very smoothly. Really handy.

Powerful ANC but missing some features,,,

The ANC is powerful and amazing which is good but you can’t turn it off which is weird because in QC35 you can do that, but in the ulta the new one you can’t. The sound quality is clean and good and the immersion is a gimmick. We are in 2024 and still we can’t use the headphone 3.5 jack! why Bose? wired connection is far more better than bluetooth no delay no nothing. The battery life is decent and need improvement to like 30 hours or more. Finally, the price is pretty highI like Bose and have used it before, but these small features can makes a different,I hope you listen Bose and do make the changes, and yes I did return it.

Si me gustaron. Ampliam recomendados.

    Bose quality

These are a replacement for my old plug-in Bose, which are still functional but no longer connect in most airplanes. Still the same quality but with enhancements like auto–on. Excellent.

A good product that’s been updated.

If you have used the 45 before then you’re going to love this one. Every single thing is better. Really love the updated sound. Sound quality and faster charging are my favourite improvements.
