Perfect addition to the iPad pro
Excellent addition to my 12.9” iPad Pro – especially as I got it from Amazon Warehouse at a cheaper price, and Amazon was offering a discount on selected items (including this).The item was, effectively, brand new – the box was sealed, the keyboard was still fully wrapped in the original protective packaging. I can only assume that the reason for the return was that the original purchaser bought the wrong size, and this thing didn’t look like it had even been opened.So far, so good – the keyboard works as expected, and looks fantastic. The only minor downside is that the Pencil has no protection – it still attaches to the iPad via magnet for charging, but there is a risk of it falling off if out and about; I bought a laptop sleeve which fits snugly and keeps the pencil in place when traveling.

Would recommend for anyone who does not have a laptop
This product is definitely good and I love using it. The main issue is that some apps are not compatible with it and make the use of the app quite difficult, making you take the iPad off the case. Also, I’ve realised that after a couple days of use the keys and mousepad get oily quite quickly, it does go after wiping it with a wet wipe, but comes back later. Overall, I truly think buying this would remove the need for a laptop as it makes everything possible in terms of doing work, writing essays, etc.

Too restrictive
Like most products from Apple, it is very stylish and well made, however… I found the available angles that the screen could be placed at far too restrictive, also it makes the overall weight too heavy. This is for the 12,9″ iPad Pro, which is already quite heavy, the keyboard send it over the edge.I also didn’t like that there are no function keys, and that the backlight control for keys was buried deep within the System Settings app, and not directly on the keyboard itself.I went with the Logitech Combo Touch instead. Still fairly heavy with that keyboard/cover, but Logitech addresses *all* of my complaints about the Apple keyboard in a very stylish way.

Could be better considering this is apple.Escape button/back to desktop button is not present on this keyboard, which is a bit rubbish.Hard to open – take both hands and good dexterity.No loop to hold pencil…the magnet is no where near strong enough and you will need to store this elsewhere…or will define lose it!

This case does the job for an iPad. Here are my thoughts:Price is slightly too expensive, it’s a simple keyboard and isn’t worth anything over £100 in my opinionsItem is heavier than the iPad itself! Combined total weight makes this heavier than a MacBook Air.Backlights on keyboard are a nice touch.Case gets dirty easily due to build material. Keys are easy to wipe, but case itself isn’t.Magnetic clip on and off make it easy to detach and attach.

Perfect Apple Keyboard
Tried the Logitech one but it kept locking/freezing up so I sent that back as faulty and paid the extra for the genuine one. Good investment in the end as this hasn’t lost connection or gone squiffy at all. As with everything Apple….it just works and you pay for that.

Beautiful rip-off
Okay this has a definite premium feel, no doubt, but it doesn’t in any way justify the hefty price. It’s an absolute tank on it’s own, but pair it with the iPad pro and you’ll feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. It’s off-putting and will make you think twice about picking it up.I don’t understand the design ethos behind it either – it has a tiltable screen sure, but, you *have* to tilt the screen because the default position is not viewable. It’ll suffice for deskwork, but I’ve bought a significantly cheaper folio for on-the-go portability. The fact you can’t swing the keyboard round out of the way is a sin in my view.

The build quality is perfect but drains battery life
The build quality is amazing, throw on your iPad Pro and it’s latches instantly into place, the folding design makes it easy to get the perfect angle, the touch pad is very responsive As you would expect and they keys have a really good tactile feel.However ipad on, the keyboard with no backlight on the keys, just showing a video, massively reduces the battery life compared to pulling it off.

Poor quality & Overpriced
I bought this keyboard for the IPad Pro 12.9” because I thought it would be of the high quality that Apple is known for. I was very disappointed. The tablet comes out of the case very easily, and feels like the iPad is going to fall out. Unlike other third party keyboards, it does not allow 360 degrees or 180 degree rotation. The angle at which you can tilt the back of the keyboard case is also limited. The keyboard case is a very thin plastic, not a nice feel. The Apple Pencil, like the IPad is only held to the keyboard case by a magnet, not very securely. This keyboard does not have many of the useful function keys that other third party keyboards have. In my opinion, buy the “PbooyiqiS” keyboard which is far superior and much cheaper costing only £79.

Broken keyboard
We ordered this item for my son’s birthday 4 months ago. It has been a success however one of the keys on the keyboard is loose and we have no idea what we need to do to get it repaired. Please can someone advise.

Great accessory my ipad is a laptop now that i can tale anywhere light and compact. Also great as a stand for watching movies. I recommend a hard shell case designed for these keyboards. Doesn’t look great but keeps your ipad safe.

Expensive but worth every penny
I have been questioning whether or not to buy the Magic Keyboard for months due to the price. I bought a cheaper alternative and hated it, having to pair the Bluetooth every time and features that work on the Apple Magic Keyboard not available on the alternative one annoyed me and so i decided i would return it and got the official Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad 12.9” on Black Friday and like all Apple product i have not been disappointed. Yes the Magic Keyboard is expensive but the quality is what you would expect from Apple, well made and it just works, no mucking about with Bluetooth and once you know how operate it with your iPad it will effectively turn it into a laptop. Best decision i ever made.

Turns a great tablet into a serious contender
I will admit I am a bit of an Apple Fan Boy and have over the years had various iPads which have come and gone when I realised I wasn’t an artist or and vlogger. But this time I purchased the magic keyboard and for the first time i feel i have a device which i can truly use for everything. Of course you could use Microsoft tools without a keyboard and mouse, but having the whole screen visable all the time and the familiarity of a mouse for editing is a game changer.The keys are very percise (very much like the Logitech MX Keys keyboard), The magnets are more than strong enough and the hinges are a marvel of engineering.

It just works
For my previous iPad Pro I used the Logitech keyboard. It was great, but occasionally the iPad didn’t recognise it, or it recognised it for a bit and later didn’t.This time I decided to spring for the more expensive Apple keyboard. It’s more definite, it feels like a desktop keyboard, the trackpad is great, and, above all, it always works.It’s also a lot easier to remove, for example if you want to use the iPad without the encumbrance of the keyboard. It clamps on magnetically and smoothly comes off with a bit of effort (so it won’t just fall off) and goes back on again.It’s also a great—though rather expensive—case, shielding the iPad from knocks.

A good keyboard
It is a very comfortable keyboard to use. Good response from the keys. It is pleasing to the eye and sits at a nice angle making it easy to read. My big complaint is when I write an i there is an expectation for it to change to an uppercase I. It does not so I have to change it each time.

Been using a cheap, fake brand keyboard and honestly. It doesn’t compare to this! Mouse speed, thinness, weight. only complaint is I wished I could control brightness and volume from the keyboard as I could with my fake one .I bought 2nd hand from Amazon, it was in better condition than described. Was described as used and signs of usage.. honestly the keyboard looked, felt and smelt brand new. Other than the box being a little bit beaten up I wouldn’t have known otherwise!! Really happy overall.

It’s expensive….. BUT… its worth it ! 😉 Adding this keyboard to your iPad will almost make it into a proper laptop. I use it everyday with my iPad Pro and have no regrets whatsoever now. I highly recommend this for many reasons … I hope you enjoy it if you buy it 🙂

It is quite clunky. Screen can’t be kept flat and only two positions. Kinda makes the pencil difficult to use. Only can be used in landscape.

Great addition to my iPad Pro
I’ve been using my laptop less and less since I got the iPad Pro, I’ve put off purchasing a Bluetooth keyboard thinking I wouldn’t need it and then decided to take the plunge and purchase the official Apple one. I have not regretted it. It works seamlessly and basically turns my iPad into a laptop. It’s definitely worth the money.

It’s by far the best option.
Great option for your iPad Pro. If only it was a more reasonable price. Never failed me ever, always on when needed, a stable platform and assists in making this a possible laptop replacement especially when paired with the apple pen. Added bonus of illuminated keyboard. Having that means you can have the screen at lower illumination and therefore saving battery life in low light situations.

The Apple Magic Keyboard is the perfect device to combine with your iPad Pro. It transforms it into a laptop. While there are cheaper options in the market, if you care about quality, this is definitely a good investment for you. I’ve seen some cheaper options that did the job, but the overall experience wasn’t as good.Now, onto the product itself. You can attach your tablet magnetically, and it doesn’t require a battery as it draws its energy from the tablet. The keyboard is backlit and supports all of Apple’s gestures. It also has a Type-C port, so you can charge your iPad through it and keep your iPad’s Type-C port free to connect an external drive. The typing experience is also great.
