Quality Keyboard
The price is high, but if you’re looking for a keyboard that gives you a laptop feel, then this keyboard is just that. I’m using this with the iPad Air 4th Gen, and it magnetically secures to it with ease and feels solid. Having the additional USB-C port is a great addition to a device that has limited ports. It’s depressing knowing that the keyboard is about half the price of the device though.

Such an amazing gadget, must buy!
I bought this via another account as mine wasn’t working for some reason. Anyways this is such a good keyboard, I had the Smart Keyboard folio for a while now but when I bought this keyboard it felt different. It’s floating and it has backlit keys with a Touch Bar which just makes it the “laptop replacement”. Overall its amazing

Case is perfect
The case is amazing. It has been installed to my iPad ever since i have purchased it. Adds good protection, the keyboard is better than most laptop keyboards, the viewing angles when sitting on a bed are perfect and the pencil clicks in without any issues.Just note, the case itself is actually so so bulky. I didn’t weigh it, but the device with the case comfortably weighs double what the iPad weighs with a regular smart cover. But as a laptop replacement, it is still light and very useable (bar any iPadOS shortcomings)

La tastiera è molto bella e comoda, ottima la retroilluminazione dei tasti. Forse è un po’ troppo pesante e ha il grosso limite che non si può aprire completamente ma solo a 90 gradi, rendendo scomodo l’utilizzo tradizionale del tablet

This is a must buy accessory for an ipad pro. Althogh expensive, it has completely eliminated my need for a laptop. I am able to do all my computer related tasks on my iPad now. Great build quality and worth the money.

Good for smaller tasks, limited by the apps. Also Heavy.
This keyboard does its job but the ability of the iPad apps are limited, for example working in excel. This does not replace the fuctions of buying a Macbook at all. I wasn’t disappointed but also I wasn’t very happy. iPad+Magic Keyboard has almost the same weight of a Macbook and they combined will also cost the same.

Cramped keys. Fiddly opening. Limited adjustment. Restrictive as a case.
It is rather restrictive, and not very practical as a case, as it is heavy, bulky, fiddly to open, and realistically needs detaching when wanting to use the iPad in portrait or handheld mode.The keyboard is very cramped. Trying to touch type on this keyboard between using other ‘proper’, full-size keyboards is very frustrating – everything just feels like it’s in the wrong place. When using the number keys, my fingers frequently catch the bottom of the iPad. The half-width symbol keys are a joke. With prolonged use, it does improve a bit, but is then difficult again after using another keyboard. This will never be a good keyboard for extended or primary use, particularly if you use full-size keyboards regularly.There is no Escape key, but all modifier keys (Caps Lock, Globe, Control, Option, or Command) can be remapped in Settings to function as Escape or any other modifier key.The key backlighting is very even, more than bright enough, and can be adjusted in Settings.Opening the case is a bit of a fiddly, two-handed job. Over the last 10+ years I have got used to placing iPads down face-up. With this keyboard/case, it needs to be placed face-down, and this is still feeling awkward to me.When on the iPad, it feels like it’s doubling the weight and thickness. As a case, it won’t provide any drop protection for the iPad edges. It is very solid and stiff though, so when carried in a bag, it will provide good impact and bend protection.The material covering the case is very prone to attracting fingerprints and ‘bits’, both of which resist easy wiping. The material also feels rather delicate, and will require careful handling to avoid scratches.The range of adjustment is very small, and I’m always wanting to be able to push/tilt the iPad further back.The charging port is a very useful addition, and is well placed.Overall, it’s not remotely worth the RRP. It’s not actually worth it at half the price. I would normally prefer to give an overall rating based more on the actual quality and functionality of a product, but this is so ridiculously over-priced for what it is, that my rating had to take that into much more account than usual. If you’re not bothered by the cost, and just want a rating based on a combination of functionality and build quality, then I’d probably give it 3 stars. Build quality alone? 4 stars, but that is giving the delicate feeling cover material the benefit of the doubt regarding durability.

Che delusione: difetti di design e prezzo non giustificato
Utilizzo da anni i prodotti della Apple (Mac Book, iPad, iPhone, iWatch, iPod) e volevo vedere se con questa magic keyboard potevo trasformare il mio iPad Pro in un mini pc. La risposta e’ no. A parte le limitazioni legate al software dell’iPad rispetto ad un Mac book, questa tastiera non vale quello che costa. Di positivo ha la track pad che consente di imitare quella del Mac (ma non con le stesse prestazioni, che per questa tastiera sono molto inferiori).Scomodo l’angolo di apertura della custodia una volta che l’ipad viene agganciato al mega magnete. Aderisce perfettamente e non c’e’ il rischio che si sganci ma l’angolo che consente di ruotare l’pad in alto e in basso ha un gioco di max 30 gradi. Ridicolo!La tastiera perde colpi e non sempre la scrittura e’ fluida. A volte qualche tasto non e’ cosi’ sensibile come quello del Mac. Per il costo mi aspetto una tastiera pressoché super responsiva.E poi veniamo ad uno dei problemi e difetti principali: l’Apple pencil dove la metto? Si attacca magneticamente all’iPad ma e’ sufficiente un piccolo colpetto perche’ cada e si perda. Ho provato a mettere un porta penna di quelli adesivi con il piccolo elastico, ma considerando il prezzo astronomico di questo prodotto mi e’ sembrato assurdo.Una volta chiusa la custodia non diventa eccessivamente ingombrante ed e’ gommosa all’esterno. L’ho acquistata su Amazon ad un prezzo di 207 euro (quindi molto inferiore a quello del negozio Apple) e anche ad un prezzo di questo tipo l’ho trovata scarsa. E’ un prodotto che vale si e no 50 euro. Non ha neanche il tasto esc e i tasti shortcut.Deludente nel design e nella fluidità di scrittura. Le uniche componenti promosse sono la trackpad e il magnete che tiene fermo l’pad. Anche la porta aggiuntiva e’ un’ottima idea. Questi elementi sono sufficienti per consigliarne l’acquisto? No. Infatti io ho diposto il reso. Decisamente un no per me.
